Lanka is already good enough, a prisma version is just overkill.

lol, you seem to be the only one who actually responded to this thread.  And yeah, the prisma lanka would be too much, seeing how the current lanka can tear off eidolon limbs.

  2. So I guess when the Tau system comes out, Umbra is the only frame people are gonna use since he is the only one with Tau resist. I might be wrong but, I think it is practical for DE to add these events if we are going to go to the Tau system, or release a new umbra. The latter option will make it so two frames will be effective I that area, hardly any fun.

I like the idea a lot. It’s a good way to expand the Umbra system. Only question in mind is the frequency of these alerts. Everyone wants to “Umbralize” all their builds, so if the alerts are once a month, I imagine many people stuck with unfinished builds for a month, waiting for the next one.

Yeah, but having it RNG like the other alerts will just make the mods seem useless, since everyone can get them. but I guess making the alerts super hard can offset it?

  4. With the addition of the new Umbral mods in the sacrifice, there aren't any other mods which can fit in the umbral spots, and putting these mods on regular warframes and melee drains the mod capacity.

What if DE introduced a new event system exclusive to Lua, since Umbra draws his powers from Lua. Also, since Umbra means the shadow cast on the moon, these events should darken the Lua maps, as they would be during an eclipse, and give them a reddish glow. These once in a month events can drop new umbral mods, and an umbral adapter which allows you to place an umbral slot on a non umbra frame/ weapon. The factions should be solely sentient, the difficulty should be hard, and of course the awards should have low drop rates. By doing this, I feel like people will complain less about umbral mods, and not wine about adding more Umbra frames to the game. P.S it would look sick if Lua turned red during Halloween.

    What do you guys think?

  5. Its unlikely that DE will be able to add cinematic quests for new players, seeing how they have the Fotuna and Railjack updates to work on at the moment. Also, there is a huge problem with veterans leaving the game, and elite alerts and stuff for veterans is what the focus has been on. My guess is that they may add a quest somewhere before the second dream, but I doubt it would have any significance lore wise. I really like the idea, but I don't know if that's what DE is focused on, your guess is as good as mine.

  6. So I saw this post by @Dragonzzilla, he posted it on Jan 26, and it looks like a good concept. What do you guys think? Will he have a prime trailer, and what will it look like?

Also, props to @Dragonzzilla, I did not make this concept:

[Scene opens with Corpus scavenging the ruins of Lua, sifting through the rubble to find artifacts. Earth is visible in the sky.]

Ballas: "When we mastered the world, we lost touch with our heritage, our humility. We have forgotten what the world is like outside of our walls and influence. Wild and vibrant colors, unbridled emotions, untamed nature."

[Sentients show up and begin slaughtering the Corpus.]

"Our hubris spawned our greatest enemy: machines that learn and adapt and overcome. They subvert our technologies and sciences, turning them against us. Our sophistication will not avail us. We must unlearn what we have learned, and return to our roots."

[The last surviving Corpus take cover, but look up to see something hovering above them all.]

"We must revert to our natural and primal state. If we cannot use weapons or armies, then what we truly need is a monster."

[Suddenly, a dark shape crashes into the ground behind the Sentients. The shape rises from the dust, revealing to be Chroma Prime.]

"A beast that dwells in the primitive depths of our mind."

[Chroma proceeds to fight the Sentients, and the Corpus fear for their lives.]

"An image that haunted our ancestors."

[Chroma empowers himself with Elemental Ward, glowing with fire.]

"An elemental force, something beyond mere men."

[The last Sentient injuries Chroma and knocks him to the ground Chroma growls and begins to light up with energy.]

    "Raw, untamed fury."

[Chroma turns and unleashes his breath weapon, utterly destroying the Sentient. The Corpus peek up from cover to the sight of Chroma unfurling wings of energy and roaring skyward.]

    "For your consideration: Chroma."
