They shouldn't have mastery at all, and they weren't supposed to have, because of their random to acquire nature. But somewhere in between Tennocon and their release, someone thought it was a good idea to 'incentivize' people who didnt care about the weapons and just the mastery, and here we are.

It wa a díck move, but it happened.

Do you have any source whatsoever for this, or did you just make this up to have something to complain about? I for one never heard anyone say these weapons would not have their own mastery, and you shouldn't have expected them to either, since EVERY SINGLE weapon to date has had its own mastery. All weapons have RNG to them, whether it be drop rates (Hate, Despair, Dread, War, Wolf Sledge), reward rotations (Braton Vandal, Lato Vandal), stock rotation (Baro Ki'Teer weapons), or resource drops (rare resources like Argon Crystals and Orokin Cells on a large portion of weapons). It makes absolutely no sense for Kuva weapons to not have mastery because "they're RNG". The whole game is RNG. It's a looter shooter. Everything relies on a dice roll, and just because something has a higher amount of dice rolls doesn't mean it would ever not abide by one of the game's core systems.

  2. These weapons are fine the way they are. The Kuva Lich system itself is bad, but the weapon mastery is perfectly fine. It's your own fault if you're so addicted you NEED to get an extra 1000 mastery right this minute. As so many people have pointed out, you are not obliged to level these weapons to rank 40, just like you weren't obliged to level the Paracesis to 40. You can still use the Paracesis for it's story purposes without maxing it. It's a bonus for those that do, not a requirement to use it. You people with your mastery obsession need to chill out. Any mastery past MR16 is almost useless anyways. If you're so addicted that you need the mastery, then you do the requirements to get it.

I don't know it it'll require even that. But if so, yeah, that's going to be it. You'd still need someone to taxi you to Veil to break a crystal at minimum, but even grinding intrinsics to get to Veil yourself doesn't require being in a clan with a drydock and completing Rising Tide, so I doubt The New War will, either.

You're forgetting that cinematic quests are solo though. So yes, you WILL need to do everything yourself since you need your OWN Railjack to play solo. Sure, someone can carry you to get the crystal for Erra, grind intrinsics, or get unique rewards, but they cannot carry you for a cinematic quest. In the end, you will need to make your own Railjack and be competent enough to solo the missions which will likely be on the level of Veil Proxima.

It's been over a year and a half since Nikana Zaws were released, and they are still bugged in the Arsenal. While in the Arsenal (and sometimes in the Orbiter), there is a second weapon in the background. It's not actually on the character's side, it's in the background and is never seen in front of the character, only floating behind them. There is also a second Sugatra that appears on the Sepfahn, even when using skins. The second Sugatra is around halfway down the handle, and it remains even in missions. This has been an issue since the first day these Zaws were released, and it has never been fixed.

Also I'm confused as to where I said that being able to trade Dirac for Intrinsic should happen or even supported that idea?

You didn't. The other person I tagged was defending it. There were like 10 quotes I was going to include, but I didn't want to waste that much time, so I just combined what I was saying into one and tagged you two.

  6. @Joe_Barbarian@SordidDreamsYou two also seem to be forgetting that Affinity gains affect Intrinsic gains, so an Affinity Booster is already boosting Intrinsic gain. Intrinsic points are fine as they are now, no buying them for an easily obtainable currency that can be bought with platinum. Dirac is Railjack's version of Endo, and in no way should you be able to buy Affinity with Endo, so vice versa with Intrinsics and Dirac.

  7. New War, if it is in fact a cinematic quest and not a series of updates, will likely require Erra to be completed, which requires access to Veil Proxima, which itself requires a rank 7 intrinsic. It will also likely come after the second phase of Empyrean, after which Command will be available, and as the New War quest would be solo as all cinematic quests are, it would also require advancement in the Command intrinsics to have a Railjack capable of soloing high-level Railjack missions. So, yes, the New War cinematic quest would likely require significant investment in Railjack content, not just intrinsics, but weapons and components capable of soloing content at least as difficult as Veil Proxima, if not more difficult.

So over the last few days I've been in the process of completely deconstructing my solo Clan Dojo so I could reconstruct it with a future proof floor plan. I've finally gotten down to the Grandest Hall, and it's not allowing me to deconstruct it, saying that it has connecting rooms that need to be deconstructed first. However, the rooms that it's marking for deconstruction are the other Clan Halls, which cannot be deconstructed until the Grandest Hall is deconstructed. I currently cannot continue any of my reconstruction plans because of this, and my Dojo is in a completely unusable state because of it.

  9. This story seems fake. Drops are not client side, they're universal. If you got two drops as you claim, they would've as well, and nobody, and I mean nobody, is stupid enough to leave a mission after two Shedu parts drop, even if they aren't the parts they need, since these parts go for around 30 plat a piece. Maybe this did happen and people are that stupid, or the host connection was so bad it caused a disconnect, but I doubt it.

  10. I'm currently in the process of demolishing and reconstructing to make fine adjustments to room layouts and future proofing for the speculated "Lich" rooms for the Corpus and Infested and I decided to use this app instead of some of the other websites that offer dojo planners, and I noticed that the building cap is wrong in the app. After 100 rooms, I get an error message stating that I've gone over the cap, but the cap is 128, not 100. I am just under 120 rooms, so in reality I am still fine, and I'm glad the app still lets me add rooms even though it says it's wrong, but you should change this error message so people who are not aware of the real cap do not change or destroy things when it's not necessary.

So I accidentally looked up in my Orbiter and saw that the skybox was extremely broken, not like how it was shown on a previous devstream. My Railjack does appear in the skybox, but it is incredibly small, and a Landing Craft (not mine, since I use the Xiphos, and my Liset doesn't have red engine color) is also there, and it is incredibly large. These objects are not stationary, they are following directly above my Warframe, which you can see when I look out the roof or through the windshield.

EDIT: Added another image that shows a large cable or tether connected to the Railjack that extends back through the skybox. I have also tried going to a relay and returning to my Orbiter and it is still broken.

  12. Since Hildryn's release, I have been thinking about how Warframe health classes could be updated to allow for better survivability using something other than armor. In total, there are 12 different classes of health: Flesh, Cloned Flesh, Infested, Infested Flesh, Sinew, Fossilized, Machinery, Robotic, Shields, Proto Shields, Ferrite Armor, and Alloy Armor, but Warframes only utilize 3: Flesh, Shields, and Ferrite Armor. However, not all Warframes utilize the same technology. For example, Nidus uses the Infestation and Revenant and Wisp use Sentient powers. Obviously, some of these health classes wouldn't work for Warframes, like Cloned Flesh, and others are redundant, like having both Infested and Infested Flesh. Some enemies have used non-armor health classes as armor, such as the Hemocyte using Infested Sinew, which is normally health, as armor, so some Warframes could do the same. Nidus could use Infested Flesh as health and Infested Sinew as armor like a Zealot does, Hildryn could use Flesh, Proto Shields, and Alloy Armor like Index brokers do, and Revenant could use Robotic health, Shields, and Alloy Armor like Sentients do. Obviously numbers would need to be adjusted to account for the damage multipliers that affect certain health classes, but overall it would really cool to see some of the squishier Warframes, like Banshee or Zephyr, get some better defenses appropriate to their themes and have bulky Warframes, like Rhino or Valkyr, get updates to their armor scaling. This would also be a good time to update health mechanics like shield gating, decrease armor falloff, make overshields worth it, or letting health and shields benefit from different types of armor (shields can benefit from Robotic armor and health benefits more from Alloy Armor than Ferrite armor for instance). Improving shields would also make Sentinels or MOAs more effective with Guardian and Shield Charger.

  13. The enemy that drops the parts will likely be common on every single Sentient ship we face in future phases of Empyrean. This is a weapon that comes from a secret, hidden quest on a time-based event with a single-spawn enemy. It is not intended to be attained right now. If you're so impatient you NEED to have it right this second, then enjoy your grind. This is not the New War. This is a teaser and prologue to the New War. Either be patient and wait until the weapon is easy to obtain or suffer if you're so impatient.

  14. It might be one of the skins that is not allowed on console because of copyright. It's not "time-gating", it's either a bug or a legal issue. Some TennoGen creators will not allow DE to sell their skins on consoles. Was it there before? If so, it's a bug, if not, you're not gonna get it. It's in the game's code but it won't be available.

  15. You clearly have more than "a few members" or you're doing things without knowing what you're doing. 150 Tellurium means you're a Storm clan, which means at minimum you have 30 members or you built a barracks when you weren't supposed to build a barracks. If you have less than 30 members, demolish the Storm Barracks, because you aren't supposed to have it. Don't just build every building you see. The clan tier determines a multiplier of resources. A Ghost clan, which is usually solo players or a few friends, has a cap of 10 and is a 1x multiplier, so 15 Tellurium. A Shadow clan has a cap of 30 and multiplier of 3x, a Storm clan has a cap of 100 and multiplier of 10x (hence the 150 Tellurium needed), a Mountain clan has a cap of 300 with a multiplier of 30x, and a Moon clan has a cap of 1000 members and a whopping 100x multiplier, which means they need 1500 Tellurium to just build the Dry Docks. When you build a barracks, you upgrade your clan to that tier, regardless of if you have 1 member or 100 members. So you have a Shadow Barracks and a Storm Barracks.

Tl'dr: If you're under 30 members, demolish the Storm Barracks. You shouldn't have the barracks yet.

  16. Well it won't be the only place, since Planes of Duviri will likely require extensive Archwing use, due to it having modular Archwings as it's modular shtick.

EDIT: Also, this isn't even close to all of Empyrean, which I don't think people understand. Just relax and play the game. It'll be expanded and improved upon in the other phases.
