So, it turns out it was a crypto mining virus. The exe was called msmpengs.exe and everytime I deleted it, it would be back after reboot.
Also was prevented from installing any AV software due to the infection. All cleaned now, getting about 380 fps in the Liset in Windows 10 now, very close to the performance I get in Windows 7. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I tried with Mesa and Mesa prime, #4 not triggering.

So, I went in last night and noticed my CPU usage was at 100% for all cores, still getting about 200 fps though.
Checked task manager, and it was msmpeng.exe, but it only engaged when I ran Warframe.
After exiting Waframe it kept going for about 10 seconds, then stopped doing whatever.I dropped it to 1 core and low priority and now getting 370fps in the liset. Still not as good as windows 7 but way better.

I played for about an hour on the new update, after the update it did ask if I wanted to optimize the game.
I'll leave it running in the liset for a while and see if it helps.
Also, I haven't updated Windows 10 in about a month, so I don't think I have that update yet, and I'm not on the latest Nvidia drivers.

I just logged into the game for the first time since the update and noticed the FPS is about half what it normally is.
I used to be able to leave it capped at 200fps and would get that in a lot of situations, but not anymore. Now I'm struggling to reach 144fps to match my monitor refresh.

I just logged into wolf six update for the first time, noticed I can't get 144 fps in the star chart anymore.
Went in game, and instead of getting 150-200 fps in Hydron, I'm only getting 120fps, sometimes as low as 75 fps.Just in case, I reset the config to defaults, and set it all back up again.
Rivatuner/HWInfo shows GPU running at 1480Mhz, so it's not down-clocking when it shouldn't be.
System Specs.
CPU: Ryzen 2700x @ 4.25 Ghz all cores
GPU: EVGA 980ti Classified @ 1480Mhz
RAM: 16GB G.Skill @ 3400 Mhz
HDD: Intel 480GB SSDI'm not seeing anything with the new update visually that would cause such FPS drops.
Big issue, is I'm running at 144hz screen, and at 80fps, it's a stuttery mess.I have Win 7 on another HDD on this computer, so booted it up and checked out warframe.
All the same graphics settings.
Windows 7
Windows 10
I have to say, that the CPU usage in windows 10 is WAY higher for the same scene. All the cores and threads are being used at 75-80%, whereas in Windows 7 only half the cores are being used.
Windows 7 shows 94% GPU load while Windows 10 shows only 56%

Can DE please fix the lures to stop sitting in front of the player, during attacking the Eidolons? They should do their best to NOT get in between the player and the eidolon, maybe stay behind the player. It's so annoying to reposition yourself and aim down sights with the Lanka fully zoomed in, just to have your screen filled with a stupid lure.

Because there's more to content than just grinding for a new currency/mod.
There's SO much they could do with Archwing yet they don't do anything with it. More interesting and varied tilesets. I still want to be able to fly out the back of my Liset, towards a Grineer Galleon, while fending off incoming enemies and shooting out their engines. Once the engines are down, openings that were shielded become accessible, and now it's an exterminate or sabotage mission.
Once that's done you get to the "exit" and have to fly back to your liset to end the mission.
Or how about shadow a Corpus cruiser down to a large asteroid dock, and when you land it's a spy mission to figure out what they're doing there, and what the facility is about.
I really want to be able to fly between giant canyons with my archwing, or even a race mode against other players. Think about it; we have all the tools available to make a Mario Kart 64 with Space Ninjas for crying out loud! There's so much interesting things you can do with this game instead of "here's a new weapon pack, go forma it and level it all up and never use it again" updates.
And then there's this nerf, where an item alleviates some of the grind and players complain about it until it gets nerfed!
And BTW, there's almost NOTHING in this game that's "not easy to get", I can go on trade chat and buy pretty much anything I want that's tradeable. Someone else may have worked for it, but that means nothing if it can be acquired by pretty much anyone with a wallet.

Making this mastery rank based is the dumbest idea ever.
The high MR players already have tens of millions of credits. Yet the newer players who are struggling to get things, basic things like trading and crafting and buying crap weapons in the market, they get punished for this nerf.
I've already had most of my friends quit playing because they can't stand the grind, and these are people who play World of Warcraft and Diablo 3, they're used to grindy games.
This game is PURE grind, every update adds new stuff to grind. Now we have Credits, Kuva, Endo, Ducats, Standing, Focus etc.
It's never ending. So if a new player saves up his plat and finally gets enough to trade someone for a primed mod, they now need to grind for a million credits, min, just to trade.
Do you know how long it took me to grind to 1 mil credits when I wanted to buy my first Primed Mod? Weeks! That's because I didn't want to waste my plat on boosters, because I needed it for the trade.After that, I then had to farm cores and duplicate mods just to rank up the primed mod. It took forever. I wasted hours and hours just for 1 mod.
After that, I decided that my time was worth more than this grind, so I took out my wallet and succumbed to DE's actual plan.
I've now spent over $1700 USD on this game and that's DE's plan from the beginning, and it's ALWAYS been their plan.
So when a device comes out to make someones life less grindy, and morons like the OP start complaining about how it removes some of the grind, I just want to remotely uninstall their game.

I didn't have a choice, while taking the elevator down to the room, someone ran and hit the alarm, mission was over before I could even try to get to the console.
Just going to skip todays.

EDIT: I AM RUNNING SOLO
The current sortie is a spy mission that has Radiation Hazard for Corpus.
The radiation dmg proc cause enemies to run and hit the alarm, even in the spy room, causing the mission to fail.
Please fix. I know it's not me alerting them, running hushed invisibility and haven't killed anyone yet.

4 player survival has a nice amount of enemies, solo survival is almost empty. I get 10 guys at once, maybe. Needs to be more, a lot more. 30-50 at once would be good.
Also, a little off-topic, but at the beginning it seems that headshots cause oxygen containers to drop constantly, but over time their drop chance seems to drop right off.

I really want Archwing better implemented into the game. Right now it's almost like Conclave, a separate part of the game that you only play when you want.
I would really love a scenario where I would go to the Moon, my Liset would hover a few thousand feet above the map, and you start the mission by going to the back of the ship and dropping out in your Archwing and fly to the starting point while having to kill/dodge Archwing enemies.
Once you're on the surface, it would be a normal mission like Exterminate, but also have open areas where you need to fly up in your Archwing to kill some more bad guys.
Integrate it with the game, improve it. I actually liked the original movement of the Archwing, flying at break neck speeds through the derelict ships was an awesome feeling.

It's all bullcrap.
4 days in a row, 2k Endo.........the chances of RANDOMLY rolling 2k endo out of all rewards 4 days in a row is beyond improbable.
This. Is. Broken.
I've gotten 2 riven mods from Sorties, and that's it, nothing in over a week.
This grind is not worth the effort. I know DE probably watches AGGP and Mogamu, who have like 25 riven mods and have blown through 80k endo in one sitting and think this is what the the rest of us also do.
But this is not the norm DE, us regular players who only have a few short hours every few days, we're what this game should be geared to, as the VAST majority of players don't spend that much time in the game.
My coworker has just hit MR23 yesterday. He started playing again a few months ago. Works midnights and plays all night so can farm farm farm.

This is where the programming of the game falls on it's face. No matter what you do, if you don't have the registry key pointing to your launcher directory, even if you download a copy of someones launcher folder, it will still download most of the game again.
I've been complaining about it for years, but since the devs don't have to pay for their internet they don't give a S#&$ about this issue.
The last big update that was 4-5GB ended up costing me 20GB as I had to download it on 4 computers.

Yeah that's my favorite; randomly halfway through mission all the enemies stop moving and you can't kill them like a lag spike. Then back to log in screen lol.

I keep logging in and playing a mission or two but that's it with all the problems.
Try to get a Draco run going in Public groups, but it will sit there waiting for players, even though there's 38 groups active. Then someone will join, then disappear and that just keeps happening.
I have all these boosters running but I can't use them, what a waste.

What the title says. Wait until I can unleash mindspike, then whenever I get a crit I go invisible.
Hosts leaves, forces host migration.
Now no longer have the aura up, and have to start over to activate mind spike.
I know it's no longer working as I get beserker up but don't go invisible anymore.

I haven't logged into Warframe in I think over 2 months now. Decided to play a bit and I can't log in, account sitting at -991 Plat.
WTF is going on, did my account get hacked or something?
I was at negative 3.6K plat a while ago because a $&*^ reversed his CC charges when he was scamming, but I bought the top Mesa Prime with 4K plat, so I was all good.
Played for several weeks then stopped.
So now it's been a few months, I'm back to negative plat, wtf DE?
I've spent over $1800 US on this game over the years, this is not cool
