  1. Yeah I hate playing co-op sometimes because of spammers/rushers, and when I want to take my time I play solo and have more fun.

When I want to do endless boss runs, I play coop to get to the boss faster.

I just got my coworker to play this game from scratch, and he had some issues at first. Didn't know how to combine mods, or what mods to use.

He just thought that weapon damage would scale with weapon level. Once I showed him what mods he had and how to combine them, he started clearing the star map with ease and is now completely addicted to the game.

So no, it's not hard, he just did no research and came into the game with certain expectations. That's not the games fault, that's his fault for making &#!-umptions about how things worked.

I hated the mod mechanic at first, because almost all games like this that I played, had damage scale based on player stats or weapon level.

DE does need to implement a better tutorial/introduction to the game. The way it is now is not bad, but there's no explanation about a lot of things.

  2. I have my ping limit set to 100, but I'm getting games with the host pinging at over 3-4000 ms!

Sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds for doors to open, and enemies are teleporting all over the place.

Seriously when is DE going to be getting some dedicated servers? This player hosting experiment is an utter failure.

I get 1 good host out of maybe 20.

  3. I used to get xp on weapons I didn't use tho even in solo

I get XP all the time for everything even though I didn't use it.

I was levelling a new warframe (Rhino Prime), a new main weapon (Soma Prime) a new side arm (Vasto Prime), and a new melee weapon (Nikana), and only used the Soma for the whole mission, and every now and then would slice some guys up. I didn't touch Vasto at all yet at the end of the mission, my Soma had gained 6 levels, and the Vasto had 2 or 3 levels, same with the nikana.

I had only picked up maybe 4 Affinity orbs (was a mobile defense, not a lot of opportunity to orb hunt), that's what, 800xp? Not enough to level a weapon several times.

I did have an affinity booster on, so that helps.

This was a solo run too.

  4. I've been trying to build the Lat Prime for a few weeks now, and was down to either the stock or barrel (I think it was just the barrel left), and I just went to check what was left and now they are all gone.

All I have is the Orokin BP. WTF?

Is this really how DE gets people to grind more? By silently sneaking in a deleting stuff out of your inventory? I just looked at this 2 days ago, and all parts except the top left were clear. The top left part (Barrel I think) was greyed out meaning I didn't have that part. Now they are all greyed out. Just gone.

Seriously, can't pick up mods, S#&$s disappearing out of my inventory, this game is just completely #*($%%@.

  5. I have this problem too, but with EVERYTHING! Mods, ammo, energy orbs, you name it I can't pick it up.

I get a train of stuff following me around.

I ran out of ammo for my soma prime, but there was a bunch all over the place and even some following me but I couldn't pick it up!

    Here is a perfect example:

If I run fast enough the pile falls on the ground.

I left 5 piles like that all over the mission. That's like over 20 upgrades lost. Instead I finished the mission with 8, which is entirely incorrect.

What's the point of playing if I can't get anything from the missions?

  6. I keep joining games and there are several mods on the floor, I walk over them and they play the pickup sound, but never disappear. At the end of the mission it showed only 4 mod rewards, even though there were at least 5 on the ground that I couldn't pickup, and I had picked up 4 from killing mobs myself.

These were already dropped when I joined the missions, this is new behaviour as far as I know.

    It looks like this:

It just follows me around if I walk slowly enough, which is I think caused by my follower trying to vacuum it up. This also includes other items like ammo and credits and health/energy orbs.

They will play the pickup sound if I stand there, over and over again.

Rewards that drop after I've joined I can pick up.

    These also never disappear.

These were there all ready dropped when I joined the missions.

    Please fix this.

  8. EDIT: Yes I just tried it now. :)

    Thank you for the help.

Okay turning off colour correction does make it better. It also had the problem of making the game too dark, I had to turn up brightness almost all the way to counter act it, might explain the issue.

    I'm running this on:

    Nvidia GTX 780ti driver 344.75

  9. Uwotm8?

Bigass shiny crosshairs are for casual players with cataracts.

Current, minimalistic dot with half a circle around it is good enough, especially because it's two tone (white filling with dark gray outline) and it's quite hard to loose track of such thing.

Get your eyes checked, you won't be getting anything more functional than the simplest dot in the middle of your screen.

Customization is fine but saying that current crosshair is bad is plain wrong. It's perfect.

Just got one of the sniper guns, it's White, with maybe a slight grey outline, it's god damn useless. Any ice/snow level and you can't see anything.

This game is all about customization, where morons pay 50$ just to get colour palettes, balking on crosshair customization borders on the imbecilic.

You're fine with it, great congrats, F*** off.

  10. I was pleasantly surprised a few weeks ago when I started playing Warframe again, that the Tenno seemd much more fun to control.

Specifically, when running using "Shift", then sliding then flipping, used to require you to let go of the "Shift" key, then press it again to continue sprinting.

That was changed at some point and I was enjoying being able to just continually hold "Shift" and always run, stamina permitting of course, while sliding or jumping, or jump spin attacking etc, then continue running again.

Now after the latest update, we're back to the old S#&$ way of having to let go then depress "Shift" again to start running after sliding/flipping/jumping etc.

Please fix this, it breaks the smoothness of the game.
