  1. Please don´t talk to me about honorable allegiance to your syndicates since the weapons are treadable.Don´t be hypocrite guys. The syndicate syandanas should be tradeable!

You are right! this needs fixing! Quick, make the weapons non-tradeable too!

Just showing how this argument can go both ways since now we have both tradeable and non tradeable stuff.

Also, as i said before, using other syndicates weapons can be explained lore-wise by the existence of a black market (if your enemy has superior weapons, steal the technology). But wearing another syndicate syandana makes no sense. It's like going to a football match to support your team dressed with garments with the logo of the opposite team.

  2. I don't roleplay, but I didn't support any of the people on the right because there were issues with each.

Red Veil wants to eliminate corruption but see themselves as the only fit executioners even though they too are corrupt.

New Loka is prettied up just to draw you in, but under her guise is just a xenophobic dictator into mass genocide. She's essentially the Emperor from Star Wars.

Perrin is the lesser evil of the three (More misguided), they want to solve things in the world but by doing business. Issue is that business is flawed and will never be perfectly kept in line with maintaining a peaceful coexistence.

In the end I don't hate Perrin, Red Veil is flawed, but New Loka is just pure evil.

If the Lore is affecting your gameplay decisions, then you, my friend, are roleplaying too! =P

  3. Good thing you aren't on the DE team, ideas like this would kill the game.

Off-topic: Do you have a synoid gammacor?

No, i don't have it nor want it. BUT the main reason is because i hate using mainstream weapons. It's boring to see everyone using the same warframes / weapons. I like to see diversity in my games, but that's just personal preference.

Arguments aside: Come on! you HAVE to admit that introducing syndicates with opposite ways of thinking that hate each other and then allowing players to get all of their stuff regardless of allegiance just spoils the whole concept.

It's not that bad with weapons since it can be explained lore wise (double agents , black market or whatever). But being a Suda supporter running around in Loka's garb? doesn't it strike you as a little odd at least?

It ruins a lot of the immersion for me. Why even care about creating entities with personalities if you are just going to ignore them completely?

Like another tenno said somewhere before. Why not just fuse all the syndicates into one big entity and be done with this argument every time a new asset is introduced? Right now which Syndicate you support barely makes an impact in the game. Syandanas came to fix that a little.

You can't make Syndicates AFFECT and NOT AFFECT the game at the same time. DE needs to choose one.

Also, i don't think i would kill the game. WoW's Horde / Alliance system worked pretty well for Blizzard.

  4. The only solution i can think of is to make enemy aiming local to each player. The host would only choose which enemy targets which player but the actual aiming logic would be calculated on each client separately. This may cause little visual desyncs between players as you will see the enemies pointing at a different direction than your squad members see in their computers, but i don't think this will affect gameplay experience in any way since the player shot at would be the same.

this would bring everyone to almost host-level difficulty, so DE would need to tone it down a little after the changes in the netcode.

I haven't thought about this that much nor i know the actual code so i don't really know what other issues it might cause but the general idea of hosting shots locally is the only way of lag not affecting the accuracy.

PD: sorry if my explanation is a little confusing :(

PD2: i HIGHLY suspect that Grineer scorpions accuracy is ALREADY local since the manage to hit me even when i'm a moving client so all i'm saying is to make all enemies work like this. Haven't tested this enough, though.

  5. Make them tradeable? Hell no!.

In fact, i would restrict them even more! Make it so that players can only have ONE of those syandanas at a time AND need to have max rank with the syndicate to be able to wear it. If they want another syandana they have to sell their old one (to the shop, for credits).

Make Syndicates a REAL choice. I don't want to see those despicable Suda supporters donning my Loka's flag ever!

  6. Forgive me for being nubby, but how does another player cancel the effects of cataclysm? I've tried rolling and doing a melee attack(I remember something about this in the update notes) but it doesn't seem to work. Really annoying when i'm low on health and I just see a couple of health orbs inside cata.

You can't cancel other player's cataclysm. The update makes it so that limbo can just pop his cataclysm at will instead of having to wait for the timer.

He still has control over your loot =P

  7. Fellow Tenno, this is by far the BIGGEST balancing issue the game has right now.

DE will NEVER be able to balance the enemies / warframes / weapons as long as they don't homogenize the difficulty so that being Host and Client becomes irrelevant.

if they balance in favour of the host, clients will have it too easy.
if they balance in favour of the clients, host will have it way too hard.

Warframe will not be able to reach a feeling of balance as long as hosting a mission is 3 times harder than clienting it.

I strongly suggest we stop worrying about ember being too weak, nullifiers being to strong, enemies having way too much accuracy, etc. Start asking for this to be fixed so that when we speak about something being "too powerful" or "too weak" we can actually do it from the same perspective.

    PD: sorry for my english.

  8. my 2 cents regarding banish visuals:

when done on an allied frame the color is the same as THEIR energy color. This, coupled with the fact that the visual effect on allies is not visible enough, makes it a pain in the neck when trying to know if an ally is still in the rift or not (specially when on the run).

since teammembers can't unbanish or rebanish themselves, it is of utmost importance that limbo players can easily know on which plane an ally is with just a quick glance.

    PD: sorry for my enlgish

EDIT: oh, just read the banish part, you already covered this issue XD

  9. From what i tested yesterday Valkyr's Hysteria doesn't seem to be affected by either Steel Charge nor Power Damage mods.

    Has anyone confirmed otherwise?
is this a bug or is it intended?

I'd like to use steel charge but since it doesn't seem to affect Hysteria damage i might just change the aura polarity for Energy Siphon.

  10. power efficiency is OP and is a MUST for every warframe since ALL OF THEM benefit from it or in the worst case are just even.

It's easy. With Fleeting Expertise, half the cost at half the duration means that your power lasts half the time but you can cast it twice with the same energy so it's even.

the problem is that if you get 75% reduction and boost the power duration with all the relevant mods you get a loki that can go invisible with only 12 energy for at least 24 seconds (depending if you used the helmet or not).

add an energy siphon mod that gives you 1.2 energy point every 2 seconds

24 seconds would give you 14+ energy.

congratulatons, you have a loki that can stay perma-invisible even by just standing still.

if you pick up energy orbs or have another team member with energy focus you even get energy profit! =D

same thing goes for Valkyr's Hysteria.

......it's OP, nerf the mechanic or at least this particular mod.

PD: I like the idea of removing energy altogether and implementing a cooldown system.

  11. I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

Developing content for weeks only for it to be tackled out of the way in less than one?. DE probably expected this to last longer, A LOT longer. Companies don't develop freebies this big, they did it to sink player resources while addining new objetives into the game or get money out of it in some way.

Some game designers heads are probably rolling as we speak for not forseeing how players could abuse this new content.

They will fix this in some way, trust me. I'm having fun while thinking HOW they will manage to solve this mess.

Just remember: Companies want your money, not your moral approvement....unless it gets them money.

  12. Couldn't you try rebinding the fire button to a key when you use the Paris? That way you could pick something that feels more natural to hold down.

    ^ this

You don't have to fire with your left click if you don't find it comfortable. For example, i use melee mainly so i binded left click to melee attack and i fire my weapon with mouse4 (A button at the side of my mouse. Default functionality is "block"). Try thinking out of the box.

PD: Paris is my favourite primary and i use it a lot.
