An AH is a different thing from a marketplace. As I know them from other games, an AH is basically an automated service of selling items. I put something there and it gets sold without any interaction between buyer and seller. That's what nobody wants because it would have disastrous consequences for the game's economy (hint: we don't want more bots than we already have, farming and selling automatically to grow their plat so they can sell it out of the game).

The marketplace on the other hand is a service where you put your items for sale but you still have to interact with the players and to be online to trade since they still have to contact each other to buy or sell. Basically, warframe.market. That lucky for us, is not automated and hence, even if there's a bot there, you still need to take care of the transaction.

Even a market would be great. Essentially we need to spark the conversation and alert DE on how awful the current trading system is. I spoke of AH as I don't know or I'm not familiar with other systems. Nor did I put much thought into it. But if DE hears us they might figure something out? After all I'm sure they have loads of people who understand the systems way more than I do and can come up with solutions that I would never even think off.

But it feels that even if we as a community can't find a common ground on AH discussion we can agree that the current trading system is atrocious.

And I would be happy for any step in a direction to improve the trading. Currently I end up not selling anything for most of the time because I would much rather play the game.

I trade fairly regularly and don't "sit in the orbiter not playing"

    My technique is

    1. post the item up for sale

    2. play the game

    3. wait for someone to message me

    4. reply that i will be roughly X minutes while i finish this mission

    5. perform trade

    6. GOTO 2.

When I do that I get the same message 90% of the time "I have already bought/sold it from/to someone else"

  3. With the recent development of Warframe and the overall improvement of the user interface and player experience, it is time to talk about a way to trade without the need to sit on your orbiter and not playing the game.Today if I want to trade anything I have to sit in my orbiter or my dojo and spam the trade chat which is an absolute mess of text and the chance that you will find something you are looking for are pretty slim. And an auction house would solve this issue.

And it is not like we already have one. We just have to use an external website for it, that being Warframe market https://warframe.market/. But that still doesn't solve the issue. It still makes you sit around in the orbiter and instead of that I would much rather play the actual game rather than spend couple hours trading.

If we had an auction house in the game, the trading would happen overtime in the background. You just put the item up, with the price you want to sell it for and leave and forget couple weeks later you get platinum. And that is even if I had to pay let's say 10% platinum tax on the auction.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this. And possibly DE's take.

  4. What I have as the biggest problem with archwing is that I get lost. Warframe can be quite chaotic as it is and if you put in another dimension in, I just get lost in the action and half the time I can't really follow all that is going on.

But there are 3 things I personally see as the main issue archwing has.

    1) There is only one map for each planet. The missions are so sparse that you never get used to playing them and controlling the archwing properly.

    2) The drops you get are not interesting. The few drops you get can be obtained much quicker in a regular mission and when mods drop...well...they are for archwing mostly (which is good to reward players who care about archwing but it does not bring others to play the archwing mission).

    3) The controls do not seem tight enough as with the rest of Warframe. It always feel like I don't have the complete control over it. With a warframe you bullet jump and them if you want to you can stop on a dime. Archwing keeps going...and yes I know that it is in space and that it is going way faster than a regular warframe but still. I would love to have more control over the archwing. So it does not flies wildly around and I don't smash into each and every asteroid and get staggered every time I hit something.

When archwing first came out I was really excited as it looked really cool and felt very different to the rest of the game. But in the end DE never really did anything with it. It just stayed the same since the release and it really boils down to there not being enough mission for it to be even relevant to the game.

  5. Currently on rank 24 you can have 23 loadout slots and I believe that MR 24 is the highest you can go.

I'm on MR 23 and I have 12 slots at my disposal (haven't bought any yet) but there are 34 warframes (if wiki is up to date and I'm counting those with primed version only once). So that is still a couple short. And with Khora coming we are going to get even further...well I'm going to get even further from what I want.

And in the Arsenal...is it still possible to not assign the Warframe pose to the articula? Then they stand there in their default pose with nothing equipped if I'm not mistaken which is also very likely.

  6. Up to few months ago I didn't care about orbiter decorations but since articulas arrived I fell in love. The ability to put little statuettes of your warframe with all the colour changes, armour, syandanas...it was like a whole new game for me. So I decided to put every last one of my warframes as articulas around the ship.

The problem I currently have is that there is not enough loadout slots to fit all my warframes onto articulas. Even if I bought every loadout slot available and configured each to a different warframe I would still miss a couple.

And also with how the things work now I got used to using just one of all the loadout slots I have. Just because every other loadout is fitted to be put on the articula in my orbiter.

So I'm thinking, will there ever be an increase of how many loadout slots we can have? Or is there another possible option on how the articulas could be outfitted? That would be lovely.
