    Lotus, why didint you informed us about total quantity of possible buildings?

    Now, everywhere we have DEAD END !!

    - Defense missions randomly failing going from 100% to 0% in 0.1 seconds. 

    - I killed the Stalker. He dropped a BP. Not any BP. A Dread Blupeosa. After the mission I ended up with no BP.

    - Random FPS drops 24/7. 

    - When inviting your friends to Void missions, nobody but the host can see the "light" that indicates that your about to enter a Void mission. 

    - In defense missions enemies now gets stuck in a corner somewhere every single wave.

    In addition to that enemies somehow gets under the ground making them impossible to kill. 

     

     

    And a few other minor bugs and glitches. 

    Anyone else experienced this? Other than all the people in my friendslist...

    Thanks for setting up this thread. It is very interesting/helpful

     

    It works like a charm for ATI HD 7970 too. I played it under a virtual machine  Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit -- Xen VGA Passthrough --. Xen allows me to have full access to my graphic card.

     

    I tested it  for Steam. I added a video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=M30OhKg-9fc.

     

    I tested for Wine 1.7.1. Wine was patched with http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6901628/disable-dynamic-vertex-buffers.patch to boost performance. Because I am using WarFrame on Ubuntu in Xen solution then I had to use this patch.

     

    I put the well-known workaround for the launcher at the beginning of the video :). After that it works very well!

     

    All details are provided in the video description.

    Im playing on 13.x Ubuntu without virtual machine and seems all is ok.

    My config is Corei7 2600K, GTX 580, 16GB RAM

    BTW how i can check my FPS in game?

    Just in case any ones interested .... Installing the program shown here: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/12/indicator-cpufreq-cpu-frequency-scaling-indicator-applet     and setting my CPU to performance made a HUGE difference. I have experienced such a leap in performance im actually going to increase my display settings to something higher then the absolute lowest and increase my FOV. 

     

    I will go as far as to say that its running perfect on lowest settings I highly recommend my fellow linux gamers give it a try.

    I know this is kind of a dead topic but im interested in hearing others results :) 

     

    my specs:

    Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

    AMD FX 8120

    Radeon HD 9200

     

    ps: There is a good chance this will improve gaming with WINE in general not just Warframe.

    Hello Dude_on_the_moon. Fixme messages are for the wine developers and do not concern end user, I get them too.  In your screenshot it looks like the game is still updating/installing. It can take quite a while to download and I recommend you installing something like Conky to monitor your network traffic. Even if the launcher says its validating game cache it is actually still downloading and monitoring your network will confirm this. If well monitoring your download drops and the game isn't giving you the play option, in the launcher settings verify the game cash and it will start downloading all over again. 

     

    If you are not comfortable monitoring your network traffic, or you do not know what to look for do this:

    1: Launch Warframe through the terminal

    2: Allow it to run for 8-12 hours

    3: Close the launcher

    4: repeat step 1-3 

    Make sure your replace  launcher.exe with launcher.exe.temp if you are prompted to do so. There Launcher will give you an error where it is currently displaying the update information (The white box) 

     

    Make sure 64bit is DISABLED

    Your wine prefex is set to Windows XP

     

    My warframe folder is 4.3 Gigibytes /home/USER/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Warframe . If you have a slow internet connection this could take several hours or even a couple of days to download. What is your download speed? 

    Make sure your replace  launcher.exe with launcher.exe.temp if you are prompted to do so. There Launcher will give you an error where it is currently displaying the update information (The white box)  -  where is the tmp file?

     

    I leave it for 3 hours abd no result its just ... Cheching for new updates stage, no downloading.

    On windows boot ive got from 0bytes to play game steps for 20-30 min, my internet is about 50-60mb.s

    1) who is OP and where is the post? i dont found in this thread.

    2) i dont launching via the terminal, because i dont found the path (low experience with linux)

    3) its updated now -> but dont run, warframe ocurred an internal error and stop during check the download cache too.

    4) Ubuntu 13.04 is installed

    Hi Guys,

    Does anyone playing under wine here?

     

    Could u help me with launch?

    Problem is that "update failed, visit ......" launcher. and it cycles with infinty loop.

     

    Hope someone here is real space ninja and could help me break this console.

    Dark side of the lotus -

    I think Lotus is unreal person and we will never see her warframe in the game.

    So i suppose lotus its the organization and everybody knows that stalker is a dark side joined tenno.

    So lets go ahead and make opposition force to tenno, may be LOTUS was an experiment of OROKIN and something happen wrong, who knows.

     

    I would like to see lore of stalker nature, more evil and scary monsters =))

    End Game Content, Dark Force

    I don't get it, why do people even want an end-game? Once you find the princess and defeat Bowser you've won the game and it is over, that's what end-game means, the end of the game. 

    Because i like the game and would like to feel that i still have something to do.
