1. Good day,

I've noticed a pretty egregious misplacement of the Teplo Syandana (Tennogen cosmetic) onto the body of Excalibur Umbra.

There is not much to say, if not that the mesh of the bundle of rags is more or less floating away from the main body of Excalibur Umbra. It looks very unappealing, and it creates a few modest cloth physics issues.

I am including a screenshot for your consideration and viewing. I have captured the angle which better shows what I'm talking about, even though the issue at hand results in an unfortunate effect from most angles:

XmojQdp.png

I know it's not the only cosmetic issue the new Warframe has, and many other items from the Platinum and Tennogen market suffer from similar issues, but I hope it can be fixed soon.

2. I've read the first few posts on this thread, and I have a hard time believing those people who are praising the changes to Hydroid have actually played the Warframe.
I find the recent changes made Hydroid even more undesirable and more energy-expensive. Let's run this over:

- Barrage is still mechanically inferior, it can still be blocked by anything in the environment, its augment is still undesirable. The newly added charged mechanic increases the damage... so what? It doesn't even remotely address the inherent issues with this skill;

- Tidal Wave is still an awkward movement skill;

- The base range and the range scaling on Undertow, including the new pulling mechanic, make it a more active skill all things considered. Was the inability to pick up energy orbs while in Undertow intentional?;

- The base range on Tentacle Swarm was gutted, it makes it nigh unusable. A max range build on Hydroid yields a 12.5 meters range on Tentacles. How is it even remotely usable?

Tell me again how this face-lift is a buff instead of an overall nerf to the Warframe?

3. Can confirm the double multiplier does NOT apply to Kuva drops consistently.

My mission results sometimes fluctuate between double amounts and ordinary amounts, and it seems very coherent with HolidayPi3's explanation.

**EDIT**: yep, the theory seems to be confirmed.

Just so we're clear: optimizing the cache is not a working solution. I have yet to check if disabling DirectX 10 and 11 might be of help.

If you'd like to check my report on how I experienced this issue myself, please check my support ticket, ID 840122.

I am sure there are other players experiencing the very same thing, and it's a great deal of frustration.

I am typing here because I seem to experience the very same thing.

For some reason, after some recent patches, Warframe seems to mess with the graphics card drivers, which prompts Black Screen Of Death, thus forcing me to reboot. This BSOD crash always prompt a certain stress onto the PSU fan, maybe from stressing the GPU too much(?). It is a situation akin to  this thread:

I tried several workarounds: reinstalled my drivers (I run NVIDIA hardware), disabled some settings as per what explained in [url=
https://forums.warframe.com/topic/620252-solved-black-screen-cold-crashing-pc-nvidia/ ]this thread, and even tried to optimize the cache. Nothing seems to work.

It's a very frustrating situation for me. I have yet to pin down the culprit, whether it's the game or Nvidia, but Warframe seems to be the only game in my library to cause this kind of stress, and my library is comprised of VERY graphics-heavy games that run otherwise smoothly. I have done plenty of stress-testing to rule out overheating.

6.

Hello,

I've recently experienced some unusual crashes on the non-Steam Warframe client.

Some analysis on my end narrowed the culprit down to the video capturing software FRAPS, which seems to cause the game to crash instantly when using a non-Steam client.

This issue arose as of the Silver Grove update.

I'm hoping this can be logged as bug find. I encourage other users who experience similar issues with FRAPS and Warframe to post on this thread.

7. I have followed fulcrvm's work for over a year. Maddest props to this artist, and the grit in his original designs.

I'll always look forward to more artworks.

8. I am not entirely against the changes to Exalted Blade.

However, I urge the developers to improve the duration and range to the accessory Radial Blind that is part of the skill.

If it's going to cost a decent amount of energy at every cast, it better be worth a more considerable debuff to enemies.

In its current state, it would not be worth the energy spent; it would make more sense to cast an actual Radial Blind than waste energy for a half-baked version thereof.

9. Always trust such a talented artist with a fascination for Excalibur to draw your main Frame so beautifully.

Thank you so much. I will treasure this.

10. I'd like to present to you my faithful companion Alkaid, a female Huras Kubrow.

Alkaid is the second Kubrow I've ever bred, and she was born early on when these companions were first introduced into the game.

Alkaid is a very tall Kubrow, and as of yet the only one of her breed in my collection.
Alkaid sports a Lotus pattern coat, which I've colored to my liking.

As you may see, Alkaid has been upgraded extensively over the course of time.

For the purpose of the calculation of her total Health, I will use my main Warframe, Excalibur, as a base. While I could technically reach much higher values with other Warframes, it's not in my interest.

Her stats are as follow:
Health: 1626;
Effective Health: 4690, brought by her Armor value of 542;
Damage: 2218 Slash damage, Critical Chance at 43%, Critical Multiplier at 5.1x.

Seeing as Alkaid is the only Huras Kubrow I've ever bred and used, these records belong to her alone.

She is a very prized possession, and I'm happy to share her info with you. Best of luck to all of the participants.

11. Frost isn't the only Prime that could use a visual upgrade, I can also think of Mag Prime's lackluster. On top of that, the only benefit to Ember Prime is her helmet; while she's already pretty flamboyant on her own, I'd love to see a more fleshed out mesh for her body.

Rhino is the only Prime Warframe that brought some serious improvements to the models, but even those upgrades weren't too adventurous. The holy mother of pauldrons and hip augments were a nice touch, but I feel it could've been brought a step forward like we saw with Loki, Nyx and Nova. I wonder what's in the works for Volt Prime, on that note.

Excalibur is beautiful in its simplicity, but I'd be a liar if I said I didn't want a consistent upgrade to the Excalibur Prime meshes; if I wanted to play a plain Excalibur, I'd choose the basic Warframe. Currently, Excalibur Prime is nothing but an Excalibur skin with some gold flakes on it and an unique helmet for good measure.

This is a fantastic design Liger, I hope the art direction at DE will seriously consider something like this.

I'd love to see you tackle Mag, Ember and Excalibur as well in the future.

12. I'll describe them through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and most of their descriptions will be come from the wiki. But, since there are only 16 personality types and 20 Warframes, there will be some with the same personality even though they have clearly different themes. And, just to remind everyone, the four principal psychological functions of this test are the following:

1. Introversion / Extroversion: whether the individual is energized by solitude or social interaction;

2. Sensing / Intuition: whether the individual is more comfortable with concrete facts or theoretical ideas;

3. Thinking / Feeling: whether the individual values cold logic or empathetic harmony;

4. Judging / Perceiving: whether the individual likes to have clear rules or remain spontaneous and flexible;

ISTJ The Engineer: Vauban is an earnest traditionalist who enjoys keeping his life and environment well-regulated. He is capable of shutting out distractions in order to take a practical, logical approach to his endeavors. When he gives his word, he gives his honor, making him extraordinarily persevering and dependable.

ISTP The Bad @$$: Saryn and Valkyr focus on accomplishing tasks efficiently and skillfully. Highly adaptable and self-sufficient, they take pride in developing their own solutions to problems. They are content to let others live according to their own rules and preferences, as long as the favor is reciprocated. If they had a slogan, it would be "Don't tread on me."

ISFJ The Guardian: Rhino likes to maintaining order and harmony in every aspect of his life. Although quiet, he is people-oriented and very observant. Steadfast and meticulous, thoughtful and trustworthy, he is most concerned with taking care of people by keeping them safe and secure.

ISFP The Heart: Trinity is peaceful and easygoing, adopting a "live and let live" approach to life. She is very sensitive to balance and notices small variations in the physical world or in the people around her. Although quiet, she is pleasant, considerate, caring, and devoted to the people in her life.

INFJ The Counselor: Banshee seeks meaning in relationships, ideas, and events, with an eye toward the better understanding of themselves and others. Although she is very private and independent, she is gratified by helping others to develop and reach their full potential. Sensitive and complex, she is adept at understanding complicated issues and driven to resolve differences in a cooperative and creative manner.

INFP The Perfectionist: Mag has a peaceful and reserved exterior that masks a passionate inner life. She is highly compassionate and empathetic to the needs of others, seeking to bring health and integrity to her companions. She is a private individual, with a strong sense of right and wrong, and deeply committed to her ideals.

INTJ The Strategist: Ash and Nekros are strong-willed and very self-assured. They are driven to solve complex problems and to create organized, decided, and executed solutions. They make decisions quickly while also remaining open to new evidence and new ideas, flexible in their planning to accommodate changing situations. They are stable, reliable, dedicated, and highly independent.

INTP The Philosopher: Loki and Zephyr are marked by a quiet, stoic, unassertive, and aloof exterior that masks a strong creativity and enthusiasm for novel possibilities. They value autonomy in themselves and others, although they enjoy the company of those who share their interests and can be quite charming, due to their quick wit. They accept ideas based on merit, rather than tradition or authority, and can demonstrate remarkable skill in explaining complex ideas in very simple terms.

ESTP The Negotiator: Frost and Hydroid are directive and expressive, highly adept at influencing other people. They are resourceful, knowing where the fun and the action are. They like to indulge themselves in the finer things in life and to bring other people with them. Dramatic and sophisticated, they are gifted at earning others' confidence.

ESTJ The Boss: Lotus is efficient, analytical, and realistic, with a natural head for business and mechanics. She enjoys organizing and running activities, and is a strong believer in rules and procedures, preferring tried methods to experimental ones. She is hard-working and takes her obligations seriously.

ESFP The Entertainer: Ember and Mirage excel at delighting others with their artistry and humor, and continually seek stimulating experiences with those around them. They are excellent team players, focused on completing the task at hand with maximum fun and minimum discord. Incurable optimists, they live in the moment and trust that tomorrow will take care of itself.

ESFJ The Warden: Oberon has a genuine interest in the well-being of others and is skilled at bringing out the best in people. He is serious about his responsibilities and generally proficient at detailed tasks. He seeks structured, controlled environments, and tends to be good at creating a sense of order. Being friendly and outgoing, he loves to talk and will often strike up conversations with strangers, talking about anything that comes to mind.

ENFP The Voice of the People: Volt energizes and stimulates others through his contagious enthusiasm. He observes all that is going on around him and is able to anticipate the needs of others. He is greatly concerned with ethics and justice, and has a strong desire to defend what he thinks is right. He brings zest, joy, liveliness, and fun to all aspects of his life.

ENFJ The Mentor: Excalibur seeks to help others express their inner potential, believing that everyone can succeed. He gravitates more toward educational leadership than social leadership, his primary interest being in personal growth. He has a clear understanding of what is going on inside himself, and his intuition gives him insight into the feelings of others. Warm and outgoing, he is tolerant of others and easy to get along with, valuing harmonious relations and interpersonal communication.

ENTP The Inventor: Nova has an in-depth understanding of the way things and relationships work, and how they can be improved. She values competence and intelligence, both in herself and in other people. Cerebrally and verbally quick, she regards a comment like "it can't be done" as a personal challenge, and will often spare no effort to discover a solution. Laid back, nonjudgmental, and a good conversationalist, she tends to be informative, rather than directive, in her social exchanges and loves a good debate.

ENTJ The Commander: Nyx is highly skilled in situational organizing and very talented at deciding, coordinating, and executing a strategy. She searches more for goals and principles than for procedures and regulations. She has a straightforward and tough-minded attitude toward tasks, basing her decisions on well thought-out plans, impersonal data, and overall probability of success. Fiercely independent and highly confident in her own abilities, she is unaffected by conflict or criticism.

This is by far the best analysis I've seen on this thread yet.

I'm aware it's not original content because the descriptions of the single role variants has already been established by professionals, yet I like how it avoids common cartoon tropes or stereotypes, favoring archetypes instead, and how each individual is given a different but feasible mindset.

I for one would love to see more fleshed out personalities on in-game NPCs based off these profiles; then again, for all we know Tenno are nothing more than a mindless assassins thirsty for blood and held together by a warmongering society, which means these different personalities would cease to be relevant if they're just itching to kill something all the time.
