I see what you are trying to do, but you can't say that WoF sucks out the fun of the game because it kills enemies before they enter the ring and not say that all damage frames do the same. It's hypocritical.

You need to treat equinox in two roles because you can only build for one effectively at a time. night equinox isn't a damage frame so I'm throwing that out (no, sleep + covert lethality does not count as damage dealing). Same with Oberon as his damage on his ult DOES NOT scale. Frost's ult is not to damage, it is for CC and debuffing. Saryn is the only example you brought up that does do more DoT than raw damage so there is utility there if it doesn't kill within two seconds.
Also, Ember's ult does have utility. Increased Power strength on WoF increases the status chance of each blast, so when ember gets to the point where her damage does fall off, she can proc heat for CC (even without the augment) while you finish them off with your weapons. That sounds like it would benefit the team to me without taking all the fun out of it.

The point of this story is, Ember is not, by any measure, an OP Frame.
The key word here is viable. She has her tradeoffs like all frames and is not OP.

There is always someone willing to play Akkad. for other missions, play solo, or with clan members, or ask for help in recruiting chat. There are usually generous players who are willing to help out.
EDIT: You also didn't answer my initial questions. Based on your reasoning of her ability, "Stealing your kills," you shouldn't like playing with any damage frame. Instead you pick Ember with WoF out of the crowd. Please present more reason for your argument other than the reason above as to why you dislike ember more than any other damage-dealing frame.

Frost can justify this mechanic because he is a tank. Do that to ember and she's a sitting duck (similar to banshee with her ult). The eximus fire wave is too similar to her 3rd ability (as already stated). I think WoF is fine as it is because it is only effective against weak armored enemies and falls off past level 30. After that, you should be using Ember's accelerant with a heat based weapon anyway as this is how ember functions as a damage frame in the endgame OR use WoF for CC with a max range build and with min damage. It is also worth noting that WoF is never necessarily bad with scaling as it does do constant chip damage and can land consistent heat procs with a high power strength build.
If I can ask, do you also want Saryn, Banshee, and Equinox to be changed? They are harder to get (outside of banshee in Tenno lab), but they have an ability that functions similarly to WoF and unlike WoF, scales. If you played with a Resonating Quake Banshee on Akkad, would you complain that she is stealing all your kills as well? The game has these damage frames for a reason and players will use them either in actual game play or for cheese farming. My suggestion is to have you organize your own teams through recruiting chat if you don't want to play with certain players.

Question: Our clan score was 2592 for a ghost clan. I see the lowest score on the leaderboard is around 4k. With the gold trophy we somehow got the Ignis Wraith BP research in the dojo as well. Was this a bug or was the leaderboard not showing the top 10% only?

How long does it take the leaderboards to reset? My clans score should be up there. (Ghost clan, 2584, Shepards of DE)

I and my friends are also having this issue -- it's also all over region chat. There appears to be no node for the assasination mission. Perhaps an invasion or alert is conflicting with it?
Not sure if this is relevant either, but I decided to "unlock Mercury" by completing the Mercury junction. After slaying the volt specter it didn't let me continue. Granted I have never done a junction more than once so there is a possibility that that's intended.

Third sortie today is currently bugged. When going attempting to assassinate phorid, a message displays reading, "You don't have Mercury unlocked." There is no node on Mercury either.
I tried to see waht would happen if I did the junction but after killing the volt spectre it didn't let me continue. I have never done a junction twice so this might be normal, else perhaps something that is causing the glitch.

FYI: You might want to include the values on the Riven. Otherwise no one can see what they are buying if they don't understand the prefix and suffices.

One slight thing I noticed is that there is a glitch where you are not able to melee if blocking with the ohma -- at least when using an xbox 360 controller, I did not try the keyboard.

I feel like bringing this point up again:
While there are a lot of more pressing concerns in this game, I still think this shouldn't be ignored because there is no reason for it to be this way.

You are right, not all damage frames have the same range or cause as much damage as Ember's WoF. Banshee's RQ has way more range than WoF with the Augment and Saryn's Miasma has the same range but does more damage (immediately and over time) than WoF. Don't even get me started on Nidus' ridiculous damage output and range.
