The phaedra sounds are epic ...
I tried again with headphones. I don't hear it. It sounds horrible for its size, more like a small SMG.
-
Considering that the Phaedra is the biggest machinegun type weapon we have available for archwing, the sound was extremely disappointing for me.
Personally I think it sounds like a plastic spoon hitting a hard surface. There is no bass, no feel no depth to the sound.
Just for fun I asked my wife sitting 2 meters away from me what she thinks it sounds like (she didn't see the gun or the screen) and after a short pause she replied:
"That sounds a bit like a tiny lawnmower."
It's hard not to make fun of it but seriously, the sound doesn't do the gun justice. The design is really nice and when you press the fire button, the immersion breaks.
Compared to weapons like the Buzlok or the Grineer gun emplacements, those sound a lot meatier.

Because most of it is pretty much useless in PvE. Honestly, it's not like the AI would bum rush you, nor are there going to be instances where you need to finish off a target before he leaves the screen, except for Capture missions, i guess. Couldn't you just hide behind cover for a few second to reload? And also from memory it doesn't reload a full magazine, so the time to switch to your weapon and back again pretty much equals your reload speed, but with fewer shots.
At the same time, you could replace that mod with fast hand's equivalent and get the entire magazine back.
The description says at max rank 20% reloaded *per second* while holstered.
So I guess after 5 full seconds the weapon should be reloaded.
Also what about the other mods? This was just an example. I just want to play around with it really and I see no harm releasing them.
-
pvp is for pvp, if mods are given in pvp that are usable in pvm then pvp is required. This is Not a pvp game.
That argument doesn't hold water in my opinion because those mods do not make you any better in PvE. Due to their nature as PvP mods they are very balanced. If you want to use them in PvE, you will have to sacrifice capacity and modslots for it that would normally get used for more damage. The tradeoff is there. Why not make it accessible?
You could make the same arguments about certain gamemodes that benefit from stealth. Some people don't like stealth and some achievements or rewards depend on it. The solution isn't to just say "deal with it"

I was very excited to play around with some mod combinations outside of PvP but it just turned out that the Conclave mods are simply not selectable in the normal arsenal.
I am not sure what the reasoning behind that was, as the PvP mods are hardly gamebreaking for normal missions, rather the opposite. Some nice utility there which would have worked brilliantly with some underused weapons in my opinion.
For example the Sobek. I want to like the Sobek but the long reload kills it. Now if I could fit the mod for the automatic reloading while holstered, I could use my secondary instead of being stuck in that 3 second reload sequence.
I am sad that I didn't get the opportunity to try it out. I hope DE will reconsider making the Conclave mods available outside of PvP.

Confirming, left leg Eos Prime spurs on my Nekros float about a handspan away from my leg in the air.

Lets just say that if there would be a mod to reduce recoil for archwing primaries, I would plug that into my Dual Decurions and not even shed a tear about the lost damage.
-
Another user commented that this started happening about the time when we were able to notice the other ships moving, which would be around the 20th december. That would point to patch 15.7.2

This is a crosspost I started in the art feedback forum and it should be in the bug forum... so here goes:
-----------------
I have been in contact with a friend and walked them through how to customize their colors on the Liset.
Each time on the loading screen, I still saw the same default color ship on them, no matter if I was the host or if they hosted or after restarting Warframe.
To make extra sure, I gifted him a custom skin from the market and he applied it, sent me a screenshot... then we load the next game and nada, still the same gray Liset with cyan trails.
I can see my custom colors just fine but I cannot see it from any other player.
This is strange because I can remember that a few weeks back, I was able to see other players with different colored trails.
-
Yeah ever since we've been able to see other players Liset movements, we haven't been able able to see their customizations. It's weird.
That is actually spot on now that I think about it.
But I still wasn't sure that this is a common issue, since other people in my clan report no problems seeing other players colors.
I may just plug this in the bug forum, at this point it would probably make more sense.

Edit - made a post on the bugforum. If this is inappropriate, just delete this thread. I would do it myself if I could.

If you completely ignore the tracer, the Buzlok can actually deal a metric s*tton of damage. Aiming is another thing, but damage is certainly not lacking on this beast. Also, if you fit 60% recoil reduction, it is accurate like a laser. You just have to choose between MOAR damage or accuracy.
It kinda sucks that we can't aim it properly downsight, but I do believe that it is currently the highest base damage primary in the game.
You need to consider one thing: The homing properties of the weapon make it immune to the accuracy debuff from Heavy Caliber. However, this also means that you will never ever hit with a tracer again, because the tracer does get affected. So you kinda switch the Buzlok from interesting to beastmode with zero aim and no tracers allowed.

I can verify this as I was about to report the same issue.
Weapon tested was the Deth Machine Rifle on a Dethcube and a Wyrm Prime.
In both cases, some enemies were completely ignored and actually prevented the Sentinel from firing until the target was removed.
Example:
Corrupted Crewman, Corrupted Lancer and Corrupted Heavy Gunner are in the same room as I am, only 10 meters away. The Dethcube doesn't do anything, not even Vaporize. I wait for 8 seconds to rule out a long reload time and the Sentinel just sits idle.
After I kill the Heavy Gunner, the Dethcube suddenly springs into action, mowing down the Crewman and the Lancer.
So to me it seems like some targets actively prevent the sentinel from working at all, as long as the sentinel tries to engage them.

Grineerstache approved.

the Damage it deals isn't that awesome because it has high Status.
it doesn't have massive Status because it deals fairly respectable Damage.
it's Magazine size is respectable but isn't massive due to it's Rate of Fire.
it's Rate of Fire isn't higher because of the Damage and Status it deals.
the list goes on.
GorgonW is a nice Weapon as is. the only change i'd make would be to reduce Reload time, since bullet hoses often seem to get super shafted here, despite them often being inferior to less spammy alternatives.
so if anything, just speed up the Reload a bit. other than that it's fine.
So... it's actually well balanced?

I would love to see something like this implemented with a bit of auto-aiming, much like the current Archwing Melee.
Install a mod or augmentation that enables the use of a sidearm stance. Base range is only a mere 5 meters +1m per level, so it will not make aiming obsolete. Couple that with something reflex and skillbased (i wouldn't even mind quicktime events, similar to the melee combos we already have), and if you pull off a full combo chain, you hit all targets inside your zone. Depending on the stance or combo, you might deal guaranteed knockdown, or a headshot... there is a lot of room to play around with here.

Oh god, please don't let this be true. For the love of god and all that is holy, I have been subjected to PWE before and if they take over Warframe in any form or capacity, I will first of all stop buying *anything*, simply as a kneejerk reaction due to me hating PWE.
Sorry, but that's basically the truth, no way to sugarcoat it.

All pending clans have been invited.

Hi again. My clan Adeptus Tenno has not yet been invited. Someone told me on steam yesterday that he did invite us but I havn't had any invites anywhere (inbox, clan tab...) and I did relog many times. Could you re-invite us ? Warlord and founder: 101010
Clan: Adeptus Tenno
Thanks in advance. :)
I believe we had an invite pending for Adeptus, not Adeptus Tenno.
The interface is extremely unresponsive, but I will try to get you folks onboard as soon as possible.

After a good nights sleep, I will sort the Alliance invitations straightaway. Hold on to your knickers ladies.
Correction, only Stein can send out Alliance invitations after the latest hotfix. We will need a bit more time.

By that logic, explosions in space should be silent.
