  1. The principle is simple: Reduce expenditure, increase earnings. I normally stock up on a lot of credits simply by not spending anything. Once I amass a large stockpile, I can casually spend credits here and there and keep my reserves going. Raids and Sorties generally give a massive chunk of credits for a couple of hours of work, so if you can find a regular group, run those. The Arcanes also sell for hefty amounts of plat.

I actually believe it's a really good way to go about it. Instead of being given the lore, you have time to digest what's going on while the rest of the lore falls into place, slowly but surely. Keeping a person wondering is what keeps suspense, and if there's nothing to wonder about, there's no suspense.

You can make someone wonder without spoonfeeding them information while simultaneously providing information not directly tied to the topic at hand. Warframe used to do this a long time ago.

The quest most likely was done this way to keep us speculating, since DE obviously has something planned

      Reveal hidden contents

Since they implemented a new mechanic of harvesting a cyst of sorts off of Nidus's neck after seven days of it being there.

Not exactly a nice way to go about it, if you are correct.

  4. Here's what I'd like that would fit under the banner of Quality.

Revisit game mechanics. Damage systems, spawning, and mob handling, what sort of gameplay dynamic hits the sweet spot between unfair (Juggernauts) and difficult and faceroll. Polish the core of the shooter mechanic and the foundation gets a tiny bit stronger.

Take a nice long look at the economy. Provide more economy streams, and means to invest resources, credits, and platinum aside from the regular stuff. I feel like having multiple ways to approach a matter will make it easier to alleviate the grind for players. More conversion techniques basically.

Overhaul the trade system. I would rather prefer a UI format where people can list their items and potential buyers can simply type it into a search bar and find things. They can easily spot out outliers and capitalize on it and avoid it. This also frees up the agony of trying to sell stuff and sit in client and just watch trade chat go by. Players can log on, list all the items they want to sell, and then go do missions. When a buyer finds something they like, they can contact the seller via PM or just buy it directly. Makes the whole process more streamlined and would allow more people to trade successfully.

    Make relays buildable.
Make the costs based on a detailed analysis of high MR user's resources.
Give high contributors cosmetics, maybe a dojo trophy / prize for clan contribution.
Give very top percent of contributors a special badge and exclusive cosmetic, as well as their names up on relays they helped rebuild, and give top 3 contributors an option to choose a special (approved of course) decoration or something for a relay.

Watch a trillion resources disappear overnight.

I really like this idea. As long as we don't make it some form of click war (competitive people trying to game the system somehow to get their name up there), I'd really like this.

nahh i have S#&$ rng still farmming for that last scimitar piece since it came out.

Nidus is not the hardest frame to farm cough equinox cough

I could say the exact opposite. Equinox took me 10 runs for all parts of the aspects. I got very, very lucky.

At the end of the day, what cannot be argued or debated about is that RNG is RNG. Some people will hit the lottery and get what they're looking for, while others have to toil away for hours, day, months or years to get the stuff they're searching for.

  7. Good start. I'd look more into Infested "structures" and see how you can implement them. If this skin is intended to show a frame being Infested (important difference from being made of Infested), you're going to want to toss on growths. If you look at Runners, the Infestation grows and moves around body parts. Right now it just looks like a damaged Warframe skin. Nonetheless, it's a good start. Keep looking at more references to understand how the Infested grows over and takes over stuff.

  8. AoE and pierce through damage scales per enemy you hit since there is no diminishing returns. It's why explosives and Seeking Force shotguns are hellishly good. I agree OP. I personally would prefer quite a lot less spawns in a bunch of missions. I'd still like some horde mode missions here and there, but in the lesser spawn type missions, increasing exp per unit might balance things out in terms of which is more lucrative.

  9. Could be worse. We got the systems and extracted, only to find that we got a chassis instead. I reported the bug, it seems like a few folks have had their Nidus parts switch to chassis bps post mission.

I really enjoyed sitting in the same node for 3 days farming him. I really did. Thank you DE.

  10.

So as fates would have it, Nidus Systems finally dropped in my last mission and we were all super happy about it. Upon mission completion, we looked at end of mission rewards and saw that we instead received a Nidus Chassis. Checking the foundry showed the same. I don't really know why this happened, as there were no weird extraneous factors causing the bug. I would try replicating the scenario, but you know, 14% drop rate makes it bloody impossible.

    Maybe in another few years.

Also, side note: the self damage is absolutely absurd.

Yes. It's pretty insane. I'd like it toned down so that I can actually panic toss it onto myself and not kill myself, hurt myself, sure.

Ideally, the self damage stuff shouldn't be related to how much damage the weapon has been modded to do but rather % values of your own health. That way there is still some risk, but you know that you can possibly afford the damage.
