All good things on the internet eventually ge destroyed by people who can't see past dollar signs. Here's hoping warframe doesn't sell out quite so quickly.

I can't log in right now, it's telling me to check my login info.... but I know my password's still good since I just used it to log into the forums.
Anyone else having the issue?

Finding the stance mods for my swords was simple enough. But finding a stance mod for my Obex... not so much. Tried both Powerfists and Toxic Ancients. Dropped many rare mods, but no stance mods whatsoever. I ended up having to spend 2.000.000 credits on transmutation in order to finally get what I wanted. Dunno if that makes me lucky or unlucky.
It's nice that we have to put some effort into getting shinny mods. But having to deal with "evil" RNG is not exactly the kind of effort that makes me want to play the game more often. It just makes me want to give up on that particular weapon.
On the plus side, if you're farming powerfists for Malicious Raptor you've got a pretty good chance of getting that Obex stance mods :)
Very rare stance mods for weapons that only have one type of stance - Gleaming Talon, and now Malicious Raptor - really bug me. Low drop rate from a rare enemy that only spawns in fairly undesirable locations. It's one thing to gate something like Contagious Spread behind something so RNG-ish - a desirable mod like that that's hard to get is fine. The problem with making the stances so rare is that supposedly melee 2.0 is an integral part of the game, and the stance mods directly unlock this part. The thrown weapons are not part of melee 2.0 for most of the playerbase. I don't know what the Malicious Raptor drop rate will even out at, but if it's anything like Gleaming Talon I don't know why DE even bothers to spend the time making those weapons.

I think the Asa and the Uru are supposed to replicate this to some extent. Unfortunately, the cloth physics in the engine DE is using just aren't quite there.

I hate fun. Especially when other people have it. Nerf all possible use cases that I don't enjoy. It's not like I can use something else. I cannot enjoy a co-op game if I know that someone who is not me is doing something I think is too powerful. I absolutely can not fathom a way to participate in this game without using one of the five warframes with overpowered abilities forma'd multiple times and using the rarest mods to ensure maximum exploitation.
If I don't top the damage done and kill lists after every mission regardless of which frame or weapon I use, the problem is with the frames and weapons ofm y teammates. Also, if these frames have abilities that allow them to do something more efficiently than I prefer, that is a problem too. These frames and weapons are too powerful and need to be reduced in power until the frames and weapons I prefer are more powerful than them. It would be ultimately preferable to ensure that after this is done no one else realizes it so that I can continue to use my unique special build and not be copied by everyone.
In the event that DE finally wises up and implements my suggestions but everyone switches to my favorite warframe because it is now the most powerful, I will be unhappy because my frame will be in all the missions and used all the time. I will immediately change which warframe is my favorite and then begin calling for nerfs on the frame I used to like.

What, you think they should have just called it Scanner and been done with it. Rename all the sentinels. Flasher, Cloaky, Zappy, Carrier, Puller and Scanner. Yay.

DPSframe is unreliable. check out warframe-builder.com or even gottfausts dps calculator.
On warframe-builder I still can't get soma past 17k sustained. Boltor Prime caps out at 20k sustained there.
-
Soma's no where near Boltor Prime for DPS. Check out DPSframe. You can get Boltor Prime to 23k DPS. Soma caps out around 16.5k.

Ash before Loki I bet.

With a well built pile of Vauban bounce pads you can push almost anyone out of the map so they get stuck falling forever. Best troll move.
-
I like Rhinoobs as pubbies. They die a lot less often. It doesn't matter if they're bad because they at least keep up and I don't have to rez them every 30 seconds. If they're bad and playing Loki or something I spend half the run getting them back on their feet
And of course not every Rhino player is a Rhinoob. Rhino is a great frame when played well and a good Rhino player is always welcome in my groups.

You don't need to control the status effect when you're getting 12+ procs per second. The probability of getting a viral proc and 2 bleeds in any given 1 second burst is over 80%, and over 96% in a two second burst. As for ammo, if you use ontrolled burst fire its actually fairly efficient.
These two procs (viral and bleed) are so incredibly powerful because they ignore shield, ignore armor, and are not affected by the damage reductions high level enemies get. If grakata was pure slash it would be even better.
-
Grakata with viral and crit/status mods. Stacking HP reduction from viral proc and bleeds from slash. Ignores shield and armor....inifintely scalable.
-
Bleed damage just means you should only play a couple frames unless you are running in a premade. Trinity and Oberon were mentioned. Id include Rhino (immunity) and Nekros (infinite health balls from desecrate).
There are ways around it for frames without these abilities though.. Quick Thinking still works even though they nerfed the rage loop. Equilibrium also solves the problem somewhat. Just means you have to think about what you load out.

Have you ever played a drop-based game? I know people who put 100 hours in grinding with no side benefits like mastery or mod drops just to get a single cosmetic minipet.
It's one weapon, and not even the best one at that. If you just play the game it will come to you anyway. I already have two pieces of it and I'm not even trying.
-
oh no, one weapon is hard to get. what ever will we do?
-
This is a grind-to-unlock game. I like it that new players get to seek out and grind for specific mods. I like the way the base damage mods fit into the modding of weapons while you level them.I like the endgame progression of ranking your 10-level mods.
Please don't remove the base damage mods.

When there were rare mods in the void that only came out of boxes, we covered every inch of that thing. It was a real treat to complete the more difficult parkour gauntlets. Then they changed the drop tables and made it pointless.
-
Anything that directly attacks health while bypassing shields should be a percentage decrease tick and not a flat number. Toxins and bleeds are the big culprits

everyones got their own preferences. I think saryn, ash and banshee are craptastic.

Rushing is a lot more about a mindset than gear. Nerfing stamina won't fix it. I've "rushed" in hobbled keys I forgot to take off before. You can rush with no stamina or speed mods. It's more about how knowing the tilesets and how to move than about how fast your frame is.
-
I pretty routinely forma all my weapons and frame at once. I like it when I zone in to an earth survival sporting level 0 everything and see a nova with a soma, a premium color scheme and a syandana. Means I get to get levelled up faster.

apart from vauban/valkyr shenanigans (which are mildly annoying but not that terrible) and chat, what constitutes trolling in this game anyway?

Also having this issue. Also happens when nearby allies exit water.
