    personally i would prefer a faster spin speed as depending on the direction of rotation, enemies may be able to avoid if they move at the same speed as the laser... its that or a VERY slow rotation speed, but that would give enemies ease of approach if they are between the lasers already.

    that said, 3 rotations per second would be waaay to fast. 30RPM (one rotation every 2 seconds) would be ideal, fast enough to sweep enemies faster than they can move.

    For Referance, the Battalyst laser Prism only completes a full 360 degree rotation every 2 or 3 seconds.

    second gear is spinning dizzingly fast XD.

    Interesting. I just realize that 3 spin that I've imply is 3 tick/second. So if it really 3 time then their armor would be removed ~9times/second lol.

    I forgot to considered that my shred laser is a cross. 

    But I think armor stripping should be about 30-40%

    shred would be op tho, so maybe adjust that taking into consideration that a Corrosive proc only does 25% of a enemies armor.

    I was thinking about it, Shred could completely strip the armor of lv100 heavygunner in just about 2-3 second

    I may consider reduce the %rate or the spinning speed of shred.

     

  5. Goal of the Rework

    To improve and expand upon Vauban's current kit, It won't make a bombastic overhaul rework beside the exalted sentinel. I've also aim to improve his survivability sustainability and overall reliability. He will still be in CC focus warframe but I will exceed him pass the power creep to make him truely the master of them all.

    Passive: Reinforce

    • Grants vauban 10 second of 15% damage reduction for each enemies affected by his abilities.
      • The damage reduction can stack up to 90% 
      • The duration is refreshable.
      • Bastille/Vortex or other continuous ability will stablize the duration

    Towerlayer: Cycle through four deployable tower: Tesla, Beacon, Shred and Concuss.

    • Tesla: Create a continuous lightning arc to zaps an enemies.
      • Always 100% Electric proc.
      • The arc can chain up to 5 enemies.
      • Always zaps the nearest enemy first.
      • Will not zap an enemies that is being zap by other tesla.
    • Beacon: Emits the electromagnetic field that pull and stun an enemies.
      • The field will suspends the duration of other mines but not the beacon itself.
      • Continuously pull enemies into itself.
      • Proc magnetic on enemies.
      • Stuns an enemies on magnetic proc.
    • Shred: Create a spinning laser that shred enemies' armor.
      • Have 20%chance to Ignite an enemies.
      • Spin much faster than Orokin Death Orb about 3rotations/second.
      • Remove 75% of enemies's current armor for each hit.
      • The armor removal do not affected by mods.
      • Deal 100 heat damage for each hit.
    • Concuss: Emit a continuous radiation wave on enemies.
      • Stuns an enemies on activation once deployed.
      • Always 100% Radiation proc.
      • The enemies inside the wave will draw other enemies' gunfire.

    Neufbrisach: Deploy a star-shape sentinel to provides vauban with utilities and firepower.

    • Once deployed it will function like a second sentinel.
    • The sentinel itself is modable with sentinel mods.
    • Vauban can still have his pet and other sentinel.
    • Use the holstering weapon of vauban.
    • Come with exclusive mods that can.
      • Restore ammunition.
      • Restore energy.
    • Note:The name Neuf-Brisach is a fortified town built after the french lost of the town Breisach to the Holy Roman Empire. It was the last work of Marquis de Vauban.

    Bastille: Creates an energy-based containment field in which captives are held suspended in stasis and emits a silent pulse on enemies.

    • Bastille will emits the pulse as soon as it activated.
    • Bastille will emits the pulse every 4 second.
    • Enemies that got hit by the pulse will be staggered and disarmed.
    • The pulse has 150% of the Bastille's current range.
    • Bastille will slowly shrinking as the pulse emitting.

    Vortex: Creates a whirling mass of energy that violently attracts nearby enemies, crushing their atoms into a tiny spec of matter.

    • Secondary Function: Vacuum Crush
      • Hold the ability to collapse the vortex.
      • The duration of the ability will be converts into range.
      • Vortex will pull any enemies within it's range into the center of the Vortex before it's fully collapsed
      • Collect any loots within it's range into the center of Vortex.
    • Optional: Hawking Vortex
      • Vortex will explode upon collapse dealing 1000 impact damage.
      • The health of an enemies that has been killed in vortex will add to the explosion damage.
    • Side Suggestion: For [Perpetual Vortex] make the Vortexes merge together like the simulor so we don't have to directly throw at it.

    Towerlayer: Would make a decent area lockdown as Tesla will be continuously zapping multiple enemies and prevent them from moving. Beacon will keep pulling enemies and made a great synergies between all of the towers. I've combine shred and trip laser into one ability and made it spinning so it could hit multiple and the same enemies allows it to efficiently strip their armor. Concuss is an aggro drawing tower, Combine with Beacon for maximum effect.

    Neufbrisach: I chose sentinel instead of turret because the turret is just too generic for my taste, I may have inspire by Omni Voice on how he portray Vauban as Sentinel Enthusias. I just love for the sentinel to have a personality. As I have already stated, Making it provide energy and ammunition would be a great utility for vauban to have. It doesn't come with it's own weapon as it's uses the weapon of the vauban so you can put a riven on it.

    Bastille: Adding the pulse that can disarms an enemies is a huge upgrade to bastille as the greatest weakness of vauban is the range attack. Combine with tower and you get something to surpass Strangledome.

    Vortex: Basically having Itzal in a regular mission. Combine with the current augment for maximum lol.

    But what cant they do is stacking up the damage. My context here is "EnemIES"

    Imagine feeding 3 heavy gunner into it then it exploded with the damage of 3 heavy gunner's health.

  7. I don't know are you still insist on the Sapper theme but let me examine this.

    Tesla: I assume this is an ability for camper. But there are still some problems.

    1. Detection: Sometime enemies do not come in group. One enemy going to defuses the tesla by stepping on them allows the rest of the pack to move pass our defense. To fix this we need to lay down multiple layers of tesla and not overlap them, Which also cost a lot of time and energy.
    2. Urgency: We can't help but to throw tesla into the crowd, It may or may not cc depends on ancient healer. But it will explodes for sure, Now if it exploded immediatly that's mean the damage ramp up would not be benefitcial at all.
    3. Distance: If I'm correct enemy's aggro range to where they will starting to shoot at us is about 25-30m, So having 60m is good but to impliment this into the tiny room that we are usally in is not so great. The enemies have to either be disarmed or an infested to get a full potential of your tesla.
    4. Patience: It would be a chore to wait for the tesla to ramp up their damage, And to make them hold the charges as many as possible we have to never let any enemies touch them.
    • Suggestion:
      • Make the tesla duration refreshable or having infinite duration.
      • Disarmed the survived enemies. This will make them quickly rush into another tesla.
      • Make vauban carry the tesla charges. The charge will ramp up tesla's damage reguardless of how long it's been laid. Allows for each tesla to deal equal amount of damage between them.
      • Augment: [Chain Lightning] Make the shock have a dominal effect dealing damage to nearby shocked enemies. Also the shocked enemies will be disarmed and will rush into another one of our tesla and it's just go on and on.

    I still have a load of things to talk about but I have no time for today so I'll leave it at tesla first.

    NOTE: I'm starting to worry that your idea is moving further and further away from vauban's original theme. So take my word as just a criticism as I may not side with your idea.

  8. Tesla: It's not a very efficient ability as charged tesla may has the 100% proc the lightning arc is still RNG base, So you still need a bunch of them to be effective. Also don't your point on minelayer just destroyed the "Hold" mechanic of this? The moving tesla would be an augment. But I would like hold mechanic to go.

    Minelayer: Though it pretty useless, But only for bounce. I always rotating between Concuss and Trip laser. Shred doesn't do enough for me so I never use it.

    Vortex: I don't know what kind of vauban player would find this ability useless, Busy spamming bastille? Your point on the augment too. I guess that you've never tried to make a practical use of the augment. Don't get me wrong I want vortex to be better as I would like it to explode with a damage of the health of enemies that died inside it. But you need some dedication to vauban before outright calling it "suck"

    Overall, Judging by the title of this thread. You failed to meet my demand. I expected you to come with a reasonably solution to the problem but what I got is just a few of hollowed suggestions. For this, I want you to come up with an actual rework and explain it in detail. Otherwise this thread would just be a rant that won't change much of him.

  9. Melee 3.0 is on the way, But There is no confirm that every melee weapons will have a unique mechanic for us to pick one or another.

    I only know that every melee weapons will be buffed to compensate for the lack of combo multiplier damage.

    But if so, What would you like to have for your favorite melee?

    But all of this could mean RIP the simularcrum man.

  11. I always has the concept of Moddable exalted sentinel that use the player's holstering weapon instead of an actual turret

    But if you still insist on turret theme then I would suggest that "Replace minelayer with something like health tower / damage neutralizer / ammo dispenser and then turret"

    But if you want it to only be one turret then make the turret provide everything like health / energy / ammo and to switch it's function you have to roll the ability like minelayer but this idea seem more suitable on my exalted sentinel.

    Let's hammer this home, then. This was not the entire thing. This was to change the passive and have things that tied into that passive. Since they aren't done, they are clearly open to feedback, though anything like your OP will be completely ignored because you can't be bothered to not mindlessly rant in a section supposedly about feedback.

    As goes for the "Support" warframe. Don't you see the logic here? Look at Trinity the healer can be the tank.

    Khora can CC better and deal more damage even worse is that she is not suppose to be CC master.

    And If you cant understand the last post then I'll repeat it. "Vauban have to cast his abilities for the passive to take effect = use energy" There is NO EXCUSE

    You know, I have never use Torch and Pitchfork before, But now I've 4 formas on them thanks to this update.

    Vauban change is barely a quality of life change let alone a REwork.

    Passive: Vauban deals 25% extra damage to enemies that are incapacitated and unable to move, such as those affected by Bastille or Vortex.

    • Nice passive but I barely even notice the 25% increase in my firepower.
    • Suggestion: Make it increase 25% for every enemies incapacitated like limbo's [Rift Turret].
    • Why: They made every enemies receive 2x damage for Khora, So.. NO EXCUSE.

    Tesla: Nothing change but CHARGEABLE BALL.

    • Why would anyone in the right mind thinks this hold mechanic should be added??
    • Just give us 100% status proc with a single click of a button or Give us something different already!! Srsly f*ck the hold mechanic.

    Minelayer: Absolutely ZERO change WHYYYYY!??

    Bastille: Nerf the [Repelling Bastille]

  17. Tesla: I have a different idea, How about it just make it draw enemy aggro and absorbs enemies' damage the more damage it absorb the more damage it deal.

    Minelayer: I also have a *slightly* different idea.

    • Make shred give you invisibility if you stay in the circle its create.
    • Make trip laser create an energy bridge so you can stand in the air and shoot at the enemies down below.
    • Make bounce create a sound attracting unalert enemies.
    • Make concuss blind an enemies uppon explode.

    Bastille: Buff its limite capture to 25 and give it the ability to pull enemies that is out of reach and make it deal damage to enemies overtime with radiation proc.

    Vortex: Buff its base range to 15meters cut the base duration to 7 second.

    If you are not going to take the rework seriously then I'm not going to seriously review it.
