  1. Soloed with Zephr range duration build, Carrier - Sweeper w/ maxed damage close range, and Dual Zorens Damage speed crit build

    Stages 1 and 2 super easy, turbulence all the way to target, groundpound and carrier finishes then in one or 2 shots

    3rd stage melee block and parkour into close range carrier takes'em out

    4th stage speed to bosses location then use ult. tornado bugs boss into hovering just above the ground while mashing melee into 2-300 combo making boss into kibble

    funny thing is on 4th stage I didn't know you could bring other weapons. assumed it was all melee

    Not proud of it , just glad it's done and over

  2. Best bet is to run a lightweight hardware monitoring tool in the background that keeps track of

    GPU/system board/and CPU temps and if possible monitor system load as well,

    if those pass within tolerance then a few pass's of memtest86+ would let you know if there's a ram fault.

    If everything comes up green then you've at least taken hardware faults out of the equation

    and would then start to look in possible software cause's such as fragmentation,

    conflicting background process's or memory leaks.

    most common troubles revolving around laptops are,

    #1 Clogged vents which cause excess rise in temps that lead to system instability.

    #2 Bad sectors on mechanical HDD's from poor handling of the system

    #3 Bad Ram chips/sticks

    #4 circuit faults, blown caps or solder junctions resulting from sub grade components in manufacturing

    #5 Nerd Rage- punching/throwing/smashing of laptop computer, if a fit of adrenalin fueled fury

  3. Given how that anything that involves a status change to your account requires sending info to warframe servers and awaiting a response, it's usually a sign of high traffic between you and the endpoint,

    or that DE's account management servers are being bogged down and are taking a good deal

    longer to update and respond.

    if you've gone through the routine and made it evident that there is no faults in your home system or ISP issues then it's pretty much out of your hands and now becomes the waiting game til things clear up and resolve themselves.

    the apartment manager has installed a router+switch with cables running to the rooms, now apartment manager makes and controls what's blocked or allowed.

    this is normally done to avoid being held liable for tennets torrenting or over-using the connection, some even go so far as you throttle bandwidth per ip address.

    now the connection that's coming directly from the coax connection is directly from your isp, and other then your isp there is nobody enacting limits on ports and bandwidth.

    hopefully this makes clear sense in understanding why things are going the way they are

If i was in your place, I'd connect to both and find out what their external IP's are by visiting whatismyip.com jot down the IP from both connections, if they are both the same then something is terribly wrong but if they are different then you're getting internet access from 2 distinct sources.

    it's unlikely that asking the apartment manager to unblock a port is going to work, best bet is to enact QoS on the modem/router and better manage your traffic flow to not get in the way of fellow roommates

    P.S. for gods sake whatever you do, do not post your external IP's here

  6. You stated you are in a student apartment, this leads me to believe that you're in something akin to a student dorm, or apartment complex with internet access managed by the university.

    In case's where the university is the provider and manager of internet access they can and have been known to block ports for things not predominantly used for education or are a liability risk, so torrent ports, high bandwidth gaming service ports, things that would otherwise disrupt traffic or cause to great a strain on their routing systems.

    I'd need to know more about your boarding situation before being able to give proper advice.

    as in whether or not you're being blocked at the ISP level cause there is not much you can do if that is the case

    P.S. - After re-reading your post, it's made clear that you're likely getting 2 internet sources, the outlet port is likely a built in dorm/university provided internet connection which is regulated (most likely situation) and the "router" which as you described is most likely a router+modem combination coming from coax connection is likely from a private ISP account probably from a fellow dorm-mate which is not likely to have any dealings with the university's influence on what's blocked or not.

    Because it would be flawed logic?

    A shot from a rifle or pistol would still be a physical thing being stopped by the shield, it's just moving faster than the glaive.

     

    And yet tenno bodies move into and out of the dome without issue, logic flaw disproved as speed could be a completely viable reason for permitting things through the shield.

    but wait, this is warframe. logic be damned we do crap this way because we damn well feel like it. don't you? Dev's >;P

  8. I wouldn't say this is a new development since it has also happened to me and fellow clan/alliance members repeatedly without any determinable cause, farming void survivals and we'd get to the point of reaching 30+ minutes with max pods on standby then suddenly...

    O2 levels no longer deplete timer still goes on but rewards are no longer given at 5 minute marks, we stayed for 10 minutes past this happening, 5 minutes every time after(loot and whatnot)

    And this has been going on since before nova primes release, so I donno what to tell ya buddy

  9. Confirmed to happen on Uranus Caelus Interception missions over the last 2 out of 6 attempts

    since 15.2.2 has been out.

    after 100% triggers needing to kill off the stragglers there are a few or just one stuck in the

    @$$ end of nowhere behind a big @$$ rock and there is not a damn thing you can do about it.

    Combine that with having gotten 1 or more waves done prior to this, pain in the @$$ bug which

    literately forces you to abort or just fail from "out of bounds"

    (forfeiting mods/credits/rep/ect)

    is utter bullS#&$ in terms of fairness!

    Putting in time and effort not to mention teamwork(which is damn rare)just to have a bug kick you in the balls steal your wallet then kick your @$$ out the door is pretty much what this feels like.

    If it up to me to come up with solutions to this issue I'd first put in idle checks to see if anyone is even engaging an enemy, cause if they aren't chances are they cannot get to the lil bastards(makes sense.yes?).

    If an enemy is out of bounds, then spawn a new enemy in random location and remove the one that is...

    OUT OF BOUNDS! (mind = blown)

    second I would definitely look into a better means of keeping players in the "battle area"

    this whole flying into "mission failure" is just bullS#&$.

    in the heat of battle, chasing an enemy it's easy to miss!

    (and you know damn well +50% or players have muted Ordis/Lotus or both)

    I'd propose putting in a large direction indicator to the battle area, and change the penalty to gradually getting your arch-wing's power/shield/health drained to 0 if need be

    then revived back in the middle of the battle area.

    (make up some silly arsed reason for this later and call it good)

    P.S. I love this game, I really do. it's just not very friendly for doing beta testing, no debug commands (that I'm aware of) so logging S#&$ that's gone wrong in the last session isn't possible would love a command /debug print Damndoorsagain!.txt

  10. For a maximized weapon centered build you'll go with "Hall of Mirrors" + "Eclipse" maxed out with Blind Rage & Intensify, then max-duration with Narrow Minded, Continuity and Constitution

    Max Vitality&Redirection and Enemy sense

    Energy siphon should be enough to keep energy up with both HoM and Eclipse lasting more then a minute.

    with this set-up your weapon will have +600% damage increase (in lit areas!!!, so avoid Earth when it's night-time) with Eclipse(for a whole friggin minute @_@!!!) then add on HoM for ~2 times that in Radiation damage

    If you're going with Penta I'll assume you're making this build for "High-level" or boss engagements, but you might want to keep in mind that with these 2 abilities using Ignis will easily mow down everything (My own maxed out 6 Forma Ignis deals ~170 Heat ~150 Corrosive)

    So in daytime wielding a conical AOE weapon that deals +1k in damage just might be something you'd enjoy (before it gets nerfed to hell at least)

  11. Dev-stream Questions

    #1. "Mastery System" as things stand, if you level everything currently in game, run all mission nodes, scan enemy's into codex and level up - 220 weapons/23 frames/6 sentinels and their respective weapons you only rank 15 out of 30 in the mastery system. is there currently a draft of how to fill in such a void other then throwing more weapons frames and sentinels at players as doing so would likely over-saturate an already varied arsenal of useful equipment.

    In short, what are the end-game plans to wrap up mastery system? taking into account players unable to acquire exclusive items.

    #2. "Weapon Skins" Aside from the few melee skins that alter stats, would it be likely down the road to have more of these special skins for ranged weapons IE. a skin for Ignis to alter is base damage type from being just heat to possibly cold or gas combo, or skins that reduce impact in order to increase slash or puncture ect.

    In short, to balance out a weapon type VS's various factions shouldn't necessitate 3 variations of the same weapon type. will there ever be an alternative?

    #3. "WarFrame abilities" with so many frames and sets of abilities, buffs, DE-buffs, AOE crowd control to aggro pulling. How many Truly UN-implemented abilities are left that could warrant a new frame? aside from themes.

    In short, Given the current frames that exist. how many more does the Dev team feel could be justified?

Killed every corpus boss. ran for the grineer side on invasions and $&*^ed about on various corpus capture/exterminates. and have yet to see Mr. Wiggles (Harvester), maybe I should run more missions with an unranked Mag+weapons without a sentinel since that always seemed to bring stalker out of hiding (They can smell the weakness in the air)

  13. If you go into arsenal/inventory/miscellaneous it gives you the values beyond 999,999

    thus letting me know I have 1,829,021 and no life to speak of.

    I really REALLY wish you could sell these things for credits. or at least SOMETHING more useful

    oh hey lets do that thing they did with mods. and let us transmute resource to resource >;P

  14. It probably would help to mention if you've encountered them pre/post recent update, since we all know too well just how things can be broken in even the smallest change (I.E. Void tileset with the 2 golden globes in the ceiling now no-longer drop anything even though recent update had nothing to do with that area)

    so 2 possible encounters are orokin derelict "grineer event" likely Capture or Exterminate and one account on mars

    If these were after the recent update then it is a beacon of hope that none arid evicerators can be gotten (regardless of how grindy that would be)

  15. It's been a few days now since I've gotten Codex nearly done (only 1 remains), noticing that some units are sneaky and love to hide out on 1 planet or certain types of missions.

    But for the life of me, have yet to encounter an evicerator on any grineer missions, would hazard a guess that I've done 80+ since Codex has been released (Going by the enemy list and sorting codex by name reveals only one remaining possibility, also I've gotten Arid Evicerators on phobos so it stands to reason the none arid ones should spawn on other none phobos grineer missions)

    If this is due to some insanely bad luck. I'd love to find out where they can be encountered,

    However if this is a bug then I'll post this in the bugs section.

  16. Is it known whether sentinel weapons will be changeable?

    Maybe with innate faction specific buffs I.E. Fire,Electric,Armor pierce or even a higher chance to stun,

    if only to give more strategy to sentinel implementation. (other then floating noise makers that rely on mods to be of any use)

    -Imagion a sentinal firing sticky flaming Torid projectiles at enemies-

    I only ask because when you go into the sentinels customization options

    and click on its Weapon Icon,

    You are brought to a weapon selection screen that's completely empty.

    Whether or not this is a cleaver spoiler or just something that has yet to be removed, it would be nice if this was cleared up.

  17. Not sure if this is intended or not but having ogris and despairs on and running missions and randomly firing despairs it'll play the ogris's Charge to fire sound

    swapped ogris out for snipetron vandel and no charge sounds were played

    thus is why i suspect this is a simple audio bug

    also when running in squads other players hear charged audio when firing Despairs

    been asked what weapon i was using that made such horrid noise >xD
