Hey guys, I've been playing Warframe for a few weeks now and I'm in love. I've been doing pretty well on my own. Could you guys tell me some pro's and con's of joining a clan?
Having the best weapons in the game.

My friends and I use exp leeching runs to level our things up on kappa. 1 person (preferably an ember) runs around killing everything and the others just keep his energy up as trinity and don't kill anything. It usually gives 30+k exp per weapon and I made a popular thread about it so you may have seen it done already. I have a good connection and am afraid of other's having a slower one so I almost always host and every time I play the frame that kills everything we fail the mission.
For the exp event I've been doing runs with viewers on kappa and when I went to do the killing on my ember we kept failing the mission but when my friends would do it on their ember they would be fine and we would do the exact same thing. Someone suggested that it may be a hosting issue and it definitely is. I ran as ember with one of my friends hosting and didn't have a single problem keeping the pods alive. I'm not sure if focus doesn't work for the host or maybe non-hosts ignore armor with world on fire or something but people who aren't hosting definitely do more damage. I have a feeling it's on more than just ember because I notice Novas kill things easier than I do as well.
Obviously this is a big problem. Does anyone else notice problems with hosting?

It seemed like it is a bug. I hosted a private match with 3 of my friends and only got 300, they got 600. They should fix it pretty soon cause thats no fair QQ. Love the resource alerts (take away credit ones!)

I find that the nongrid version is much easier to use. You see all the recipies, material costs, and what you have for the recipe all at a glance, without having to click each individually. For those of us with many blueprints, it is also a lot easier to find what we want since we can look in once place and just scroll, whereas with the grid view you must look left and right while scrolling down.
IMO, grid view was prettier than old row format, but terrible. New row format takes the best aspects of the grid format and makes a prettier, more usable row format.
I rather click on the item to see what materials I'd need. Besides not seeing your materials right away (which they could change easily) there are only upsides. It's such a pain to scroll through the row system to find what you want if you have a lot of BPs.

I liked the grid view a whole lot more. It didn't make me feel like I had to sell BPs I already had because I didn't have to search through a sea of them to find whatever I wanted to build. I think it looked sleeker as well and would work better for console (the scrolling is going to be annoying the way it is on a controller). I'd really like to see the foundry go back to the new grid view they created. Not sure if they did it because of complaining but I feel like it was a better system. Also if people were just complaining because many people don't like to deal with extreme change they can just put in an option for the old view.

Makes me feel extra meh about using a forma on my lex. Still, looking forward to my vasto being finished.
I'd save your forma for something else. I prefer ak bolto's to lex personally. I was just really unimpressed with the lex and people kept hyping it up for me.

In my opinion, performance > looks. Honestly, Lex needs to get a new skin or something.
Dude... looks > dps always! ALWAYS! but vasto out performs lex by far anyway. Lex needs a buff more than a reskin.

To be fair, Lex is a pistol where you want to kill the target with one shot to its weakpoint (i.e. high damage per hit) and want to stretch pistol ammo efficency to its utmost limit. Unfortunately, the Vasto is more versatile, with general ease of use as well as superior burst and overall damage per second.
You also forgot that it looks cooler ^.~

Fortunately, Grineer are easy to headshot, and idk about other weapons but the Vasto does double damage to heads according to the wiki. It fires and reloads quickly, and it might even be a better weapon that some of the thrown secondary weapons because it has high damage and high fire rate combined.
I had no idea that it did that! I didn't bother checking the wiki before I recorded since it was so soon.

Hard to really tell in the vid, but how is the accuracy? For example, in the 'boss area' of that map, could you still easily hit enemies on the platforms on the opposite side where you first entered?
Akvasto would be so sweet... not that I'd look forward to getting even more neurodes.
Sorry I didn't show the accuracy. It's a pretty accurate weapon. I'd say it's a high tier gun.
Seems to sacrifice a bit of damage compared to Lex and Seer for the sake of being viable at short range, interesting. Might be useful for quickly taking out a target, but on higher levels I doubt it'll do much good given the armour scaling of enemies, especially Grineer.
It does more damage than the lex. I did some DPS tests. Honestly I think people think the lex is a better gun than it is. Lex took significantly longer to kill j3 golem with than the vasto, which would only increase in a time gap with more mods than only dmg mods.

Freaking love it. I was so excited about an honest to god revolver that i accelerated the build and it's alot of fun. Now i desperately need an AkVasto
Lol someone was suggesting that in my stream. It would be pretty sweet, however, something about a single revolver is so bamf...

The Supra is the best weapon. The lanka isn't a very good gun (this game isn't sniper friendly atm). The dera gets out DPSd by the burston and the other guns aren't worth taking into account. Supra is the highest PRIMARY weapon in the game. I'd like to see the DPS calculator someone was speaking of. I haven't seen one calculator or spreadsheet that has been correct in terms of DPS.

Simply put I think higher level areas should give the lower % nightmare mods such as blaze and hammershot a higher chance to drop. Currently there isn't a reason to run higher level nightmare modes (besides for challenge) if you're just going for the mods like most people are. It's much quicker to run a lower level mission with an easy type like capture/raid repeatedly to get all the mods. I don't think that was the intended result for nightmare mode but it is currently what's happening. It's just not very fun running the same easy mission because I know it's the quickest track to getting a blaze mod.

I'm doing runs of all the levels people are suggesting in my stream and we'll literally get 1 drop of them. This needs to be fixed so badly. This resource is creating a lot of negative talk which is something we really don't want. Plastids were annoying as heck to farm before but they're an actual problem now. These are some of the comments on the wiki. DE is usually great about fixing things the community is complaining about so let's hope this gets fixed quickly.

Hey everyone,
Maybe a few of you may know me as Lefendal. I was streaming the game quite a lot during update 8 and 9 but unfortunately my classes started so I haven't been able to stream since I've been getting adjusted to my new schedule. Just wanted to drop by to say hi to the community and I've seen some streams and the game is looking better and better (wtf there's scarves now?!) I'm hoping that since I've settled down with my classes I can start streaming my beloved warframe soon, but how is update 10 treating everyone?
