Don't get me wrong I would love for puncture to be buffed maybe even give damage over time like slash but I don't feel their is a need to make every staus proc equal. Everything as its pros and cons.
Vaykor Hek, Boltor prime, telos boltace (before nerf) are/were incredibly powerful weapons. If a certain level 135 enemy is hard to kill but the likes of which we never see in normal game even in sorties, then its not the right tool for that mission. Bring a simple pox to strip armor off and you can easily finish him off.
Its great to try weapons in the Simulacrum against level 140 enemies but it doesn't necessarily mean its under-powered.

Under powered against what. My most used shotgun is a Vaykor Hek which is a Puncture based weapon. I never felt it was weak.
Never faced an enemy which stayed alive to tell me I firing marshmallows.

In order to help out new players every player starts with a initial 50 platinum. You can buy 4 weapon slots for 24 and put another 20 for a Warframe slot leaving you with a balance of 6 platinum.
This is a free game which allows you to actually get the premium currency via trading. You can farm prime parts, mods, blueprints do easily make platinum without spending a dime. You are expected to grind but that is the very core of warframe. Platinum via paying only helps you level up faster. A paying user will never have something which a non paying can never have except extractor slot or cosmetics which do not impact the gameplay anyway.
I will give you the easiest way to make small platinum for weapon slots and warframe slots.
Do relic missions and collect prime parts. Collect prime common and uncommon (For e.g. Paris prime parts, lex prime parts). Baro a void trader comes every 2 weeks and needs players to change prime parts to ducats to buy mods and weapons. So people look for junk prime parts. 5 parts for 10 platinum (normal rate). Do 10 missions and you have yourself 20 platinum easy. No need to spend.

If angry report but carrying over anger just means the troll got me.
The reason you cant hack consoles when in rift is cause it will make any spy mission too easy. No damage no way to stop me. Just a walk in the park with a bowl of cheese.

I like both and will use both depending on mission.
Nidus is good when you want to stand and defend a point like defense, survival as you want enemies to rush to you to build stacks.
Inaros is good to rush missions. Like exterminate, capture, sabotage

I do my sorties as the first mission on random public matchmaking. Takes me 20-30 mins depending on mission type. I really would not like to drag it longer. Especially a 2000 cryotic or long survival if the rewards remain the same. I agree it can be very easy with maxed out weapons and frames but as others have mentioned its can be difficult for new players. Dragging a mission to increase the difficulty is not a solution in my opinion.
I have suggested in the past ideas for challenge for end game content. Didn't get much traction but it was just a suggestion.

Well what he mentions is pretty accurate. Any Destiny review video does have Warframe comments littered in them. Also he did say he didn't pay attention to these comments at first. I really don't have trouble believing that.
Maybe DE approached him to review the game or maybe he decided to review and approached DE if they wanted to provide any help. Either case does it matter ?
In game items are just like review samples for a game. A tech youtuber getting a Nvidia Titan X as sample should not be considered a bribe. I cant even convert a Tigris prime set to real money like a CS:GO skin. Whatever value warframe items have stay in-game. So if I decide to quit the game there is no way to sell off my inventory to make a monetary gain.
Last thing about mainstream media. As I see it DE's 61% stake went for 73 million. Destiny development budget alone was close to 500 million. For PR you need to spend millions of dollars, it doesn't come free. Also its a 4 year old game unless something major comes there is no need to cover it. And when plains of eidolon was announced a lot of major game media covered it. For example PCgamer, polygon, gameinformer

Its only natural to make mistakes, but the guy should really double check his research when talking about something as important as monetization models because paywalls are a huge topic for free to play games,
He mentions the inaccuracies in a pinned post on Youtube. He is still a newbie and to to know everything about Warframe can be very difficult. This is probably the best review of this game as it covers so much of the game. Its 31 mins long and still just scratches the surface of the game.
I started 4 months ago and I also didn't know I could farm Banshee prime and bought the prime access when I was in probably around 30 hours in.

I play the most offensive when I am playing as Inaros and melee. Using 4th to get scarab armor to 100%. Use the rest of the skills to get to HP back to 5280. Built for speed, durability and finding loot.

For Sorties and similar type missions this is my advice
- Bow : Dread or Rakta Cernos. Comes handy for any bow only sortie and very high damage. I even use my rakta for assassination as its the highest damage weapon I have cause of riven. But I used a non riven dread before which was very good. Situational is Zhuge when u need a fast firing bow.
- Rifle : Soma Prime or Braton Prime. My Braton is modded to to give much more damage than the Soma.
- Shotguns : Vaykor Hek is my fav and tigris prime comes 2nd. I prefer having 8 rounds over burst of 2 even if the damage is higher.
- Pistol : Lex, Akstiletto Prime, Euphona Prime
In the end the weapons won't do much without correct mods so I suggest to concentrate on the mods more.
Primed Pressure Point, Primed point black, primed ravage, Blunderbuss, Maxed serration, Vital Sense, Maxed Point strike, Dual stat mods to increase status chance, Primed Target cracker . Primed pistol gambit
Can be expensive so take it slow on maxing them out. Never miss if Baro brings anything.

Offensive language is not acceptable and you can report it. I usually just ignore them and block them off as its too much of hassle and if I started reporting every single rage comments I would have a hard time playing any online game.
I do use warframe.market but if I don't follow the price and someone calls me a scammer I will just block them off. Not worth my time to be honest.
You are not obligated to follow the prices on the website but most players do consult it to know the current prices. Sometimes it becomes very hard to sell something if the difference from what I am asking and website price is big. Its a trade between 2 players in the end. If you cant reach an agreement the trade will not happen.
The website serves as a good way to find the parts you are looking for. For example I want to but Venka Prime Gauntlet. Go to trade chat type WTB : Venka Prime Gauntlet I may get offers or not as the player who has them has to be looking at the chat windows at that time and offer me a fair deal. I can find the deal on the website message player directly and get the part after comparing prices.
Final 2 cents
- You are not obligated to follow the price on the website.
- Some one calls you a scammer just block them off as deal is not going to happen anyway and you are better off not having to deal with this player again.
- Report if the language is very offensive but I normally just ignore. Works best as I dont want to carry a feeling of getting angry or upset. Ignore and I am back to normal. The minute they get to you is when that statement had an effect,
- Learn to use the market website to your advantage. Ok someone might call me shrewd and get angry but here goes. Its basically a concept of supply and demand. You can analyze the quantity and prices available on the website. Prices will go up if supply is low. So you can hold off selling things looking at current situation and sell for higher price when time is right.

Best not to chit chat when trading... Clearly state your offer and be done with it. I don't respond to posts where price is not stated as usually it means a lot of chat typing offers and negotiating. I prefer warframe.market as price is already stated. I prefer trade chat to mostly do barter trades.
Also I probably wouldn't respond to a "hmm" for a trade post.

Well I started playing after watching the steam players online stats and watching the Angryjoe play Warframe.
I am glad I did.

Suggestions for making it dependent on time played would be funny as it will create so many problems and bugs. Has to be modified to a multiplier as well which will make sure people don't start playing so much that they exceed the 600 days login guys.
For example say 12 hours is equal to 1 day. What happens to daily login status. Say I am at day 100 login. I have played 200 hours. This will mean I am 100 + 200/12 = 116 days. A player at 600 days of login and say 100 days in mission time will be at 700 days reward which doesn't even exist.
2nd scenario : Scrap daily login and everything is dependent on in game time. What about the discount coupons, blueprints etc. Say a reward is set for every 12 hours played. So now everyone has to play insane amount of hours to get rewards. At 12 hours of a reward the person spend probably double the time to get these rewards. If its shorter say 6 hours for a reward a some players will grind 18 hours in a day to get 3 days worth of rewards. Cheese will be the main thing as everyone will just be afking and using macro enough to not count as AFK timer but it will become a grind fest of the likes which we havent seen.
Daily rewards should not be touched in anyway. Maybe have cosmetics for further rewards.

Yup although I would love to have it for collection. If it cant serve the purpose I would rather sell it off now and get another weapon for mastery fooder. I ran regen for a while before I moved to primed regen. I can always get it later looking at 40p primed continuity.
Anyway I will have to test as something definitely changed. Shade being able to revive while still cloaked was definitely a change as previously it removed cloak to revive which caused it to die if the surrounding mob attacks were too strong.

There are things which are not used most of the time but can cause negative effects to you.
For example : Temporal Storm Zenuric can cause shields to drop by 75% for nearby allies for 50% chance at speed increase.

Cyst was one of things which made me go wow when I started playing. I saw this thing growing and becoming bigger thought it was part of ranking up the warframe. One day I was walking around the ship and this mysterious door opens I am like what is happening here. Gives me option to sit on the chair and suddenly its gone. Now door won't open. I head to wiki find about the cyst and helminth charger and get to create my charger few days later.
I go damn "I love this game"
