  1. I honestly never seen her boots before, as you mention, the chaps blocks alot of the legs and feet.

    But i gotta say, those boots are pretty gorgeous and i wish i could wear them myself .w.

    But yeah, we definitly need a toggle for these sort of things to remove things like the chaps, or similar obstructing details (Either to see hidden details or those who are like me, like the more minimalistic styles).

    it does brings the question if it be possible to make it more usable on more weapons if the Hecaton skin's reload animations works on all shotguns without problems (I did notice on Strun and Corinth that the skin isnt able to replace the shell injection animation however.).

    The Bravura skin looks like it would look totaly rad on energy based weapons.

The Boltor skin could have been a very experimental stage when it comes with model and reload replacement for rifles, where the shotgun skin from the nyx bundle could be the end result of that said experiement, considering that they mentioned that it was due to technical limitations that made the Boltor skin limited to, Boltor.

    So who knows, maybe they make the skin available for all rifles, or atleast the ones that gets close enough for the weapon itself, and i hope that one day that the skin will be available to most rifles, cause i really love that air guitarr reload animation, its cool and fun.

  4. While the flow between ranged weapons and melee sounds like a good idea, it feels like that it got thrown out before it could have baked long enough in the oven so to speak.

    I also noticed that mods that are melee exclusive, such as the mod for Ack & Brunt called Electromagnetic Shielding, wich while blocking, redirect damage that allies get and transfer them to you instead (Wich is a really good tanking role mod), got affected by the update.

    The problem with the update however, is that due to the lack of a block button, or parry input, that mod is practicly impossible to use, or atleast not as effective as it once was. I havent used that mod myself, but another player who uses that mod reported about that issue.

    In my case, i love going melee only when im in the mood for it, and manual parry or blocking is something that i find quite rewarding (Or however you can put it in english, not native english speaker here). The auto-Parry situation, evne if you remove Primary and Secondary, the auto-parry still exist.

    Overall, having a parry button like you suggest would do alot of good for gliding (And it wouldnt make you zoom in like a eagle on caffaine overdose).

  5. Could be my biggest guess here, but it could be that DE managed to figure out how to make it work on all shotguns after some experimentations with skins or someinthg like that. What DE said about Maestra's Boltor skin, was something about technical limitations that it got assigned to a single weapon, wich will be Boltor.

    Even teh wiki states as follows '' Due to technical limitations and differences between firing/reloading animations on other Weapons, the Boltor Bravura Skin can only be equipped on the Boltor and its variants. This skin is therefore specifically optimized for the Boltor. ''.

    I would love to see that skin on other primary rifle weapons, as it is quite a gorgeous looking skin (But i seriosuly never liked Boltor as much). Maybe one day they fix that.

    It might be work but you can't make me believe it would not be worth the money, this is a Free to Play game most of their money comes from Cosmetics. 

    I feel you on the fashion frame and i would love to have that animation on other frames (Would look great on Titania and frames with those Wing based Syandanas). But as i said before, i dont know the excat science behind the engine, but maybe in the future, we get it to work on other frames.

    True, true. I woulndt know it myself on how to set it up, but i imagen it be a bit time consuming to get it to work on all frames. Might not be. Either way, we got Pablo statement to go by, unless i mistook it for something else. Also, its a good pun you did, you get a like.

  8. Just the idle animation im afraid. As Pablo mentioned, it is much more complicated and for a reason.

    If they would make her animation set like running and sprinting and wahtnot to work on other frames, they gotta write extra scripts and codes for each frame. Lots of whats and ifs and so on. I dont know how the engine work per say, but i asume that it would take extra time to get it to function on other frames if they need to do it on each induvidual frame.

  9. What driver version are you using? Sometimes, atleast for me, using a different version can solve the lag issue.

    In my case, my Geforce 1080 GTX G1 Gaming is extremely picky, and would only funciton properly and with good speed if im using 384.76 drivers. Anything older or newer causes my entire computer to mega lag and freak out.

     

  10. You arent the first thats for sure. There used to be a time when the camera's position glitched out (may it be client glitch reasons to script failures), that caused the camera's position value to be 0 or somethnig like that, wich made the camera be inside the head of the said player. And trust me, when people saw that glitch, the forums exploded. I think the devs are still traumatized from the massive horde of players demanding that first person mode to this day.

    We should mention that using any kind of software to modify game files has an inherent risk to it of course because... people often try and sneak around with injectors for malicious things.

    Its a good point, but from personal experience, Reshade doesnt give the players any form of method to manipulate the game or cause damages. But the triggering of the anti-cheat system tho could still be valid. Im not an expert in programming, but i peaked into books and stuff and have enough clues that coding and making code work as tehy sould is a one hell of a difficult task, so having a anti-cheat system to check millions of players, definitly couldnt be perfect, so maybe some misfiring?

    I dont know how the system works per say, but maybe it checks for different combinations of programs or instances when someone cheats. Like, maybe someone who did use Cheatengine, also had Reshade, so the anti-cheat system must have misjudged, maybe. Im just throwing theories around, so dont take my word for it.

  13. I have a feeling that those who claim to be banned because of Reshade or SweetFx, probably must have had CheatEngine in the backround, or tried to manipulate the game and tries to throw the excuse on something else.

    I used Reshade alot in the past on Warframe, and not once did i get a warning, nor got banned. So i cant see why it would be a bannable thing, especialy when Steve himself said so himself that its all good.

    I sorta sees Reshade and SweetFx like a Vetrex overlay that you put on the screen for some nice effects and thats it, doesnt manipulate the gameplay or systems in any way, doesnt give you infinite platinum or jiggle physics on Atlas, or acts as a bot for auto-farming.

    Honestly, im pretty happy how acceptable DE is about Reshade and other graphic wrappers (Some gaming companies probably dont like the idea though).

    Overall, i do hope that they will come forth to clarify about Reshade and SweetFx stuff. Doesnt hurt with a refresher.

  15. Even myself who loves butts (I mean my profile says it all), i find this change to be a silly thing to be mad about. Im alot more concerned about the clipping issues. What i experienced with, let us say Banshee's deluxe skin, her skirt clips alot that even merges with her legs, atleast last time i checked. And as someone points out, syandanas will also be an issue in this case.

    Also speaking of teh change, i dont think it be an issue if you are on Orb Vallis or Plains of Eidolon. Just rotate acording to the wind and the full moon is visible.

    That is something i have kept telling people. Programming, patching, changing, tweaking, there is alot going on in a game studio with a game like this. Despite all efforts, especialy massive updates, tend to ship with problems that are unpredictable or unintentional.

    I can only imagen the intense stress the devs have to deal on a daily basis when stuff like this happens. Mad respect to all of you for putting it up with all that to give us a great game and experience.

  17. ShichiseitenYasha, your post is a rarity, but very appriciated and pleasant to read considering that you are giving a really good feedback and suggestions. Most people would flat out yell or throw fire and brimstone to show how angry they are with something without giving muhc feedback that is constructive. Not all ofcorse, but they are there.

    What i loved about Melee 2.0 that we had for years, was controll, you really felt you where in controll. When Charge was re-added from Melee 1.0, that too also enhanced the controll you had over melee, and in turn, you could go full Melee only mode in many missions and it felt rewarding too. It made Sortie missions with Melee Only also fun and functional.

    I really think that the melee rework as of now was thrown out far to early from the oven, and some of the changes they did wasnt either ready, or was the wrong things to change.

    I think Phase 1 need to be reverted until it is actualy ready, when it is baked enough in the oven and ready to be served. I do love the concepts they have planned, but right now its in a really ugly state.

    Overall, great post, you deserve a applause upvote.

    Auto-blocking is here to stay but if player choose to Manual block they able to to that also. I didnt see any harm in that

    Im with you there. Auto-Blocking, while convinient, doesnt feel as good. I dont get the same dopamine like feeling when auto-blocking. I say giving the player the option to auto block or manual block with a option button sounds like an ideal things to add. It would also help out in regards to combos where the block button is required for certain combos, like August Mesto from Tempo Royale.

    But maybe in due time things will go forward in a really positive way and make Melee so awesome that the sun will get thrown into the void.

    I gave it a try, and it didnt do the old quick-attack, but had its unique Stance modless, stance, however i can call it. Sorta reminds me of Melee 1.0's animations with the thrusting.

  20. I certainly was suprised about this auto-block thing, wich im not a big fan off, but i dont hate it either. I just wish  there was a dedicated block button and a switch in the options menu where you can turn Auto-Block On or Off. Just my opinion really.

    Otherwise, after doing a couple of missions, The Melee system seems to work just the same, just with slight changes. Just start with a basic Melee Attack Key, then hold right  mosue button and keep spamming til the cows come home.

    I say, this is currently at its early stages, so whats important is that we give propper feedback to the devs, make suggestions on how to continue and so on
