I agree,Infested need a big overhaul...they feel clumsy and stupid,I want them to jump from high places and knock me down when I least expect it.I want them to jump from wall to wall (at least the runners and leapers) in a creepy fashion,something out of a horror movie.I also want the maps that have infested (defence included) to have dimmed lights,and give their eyes a glow effect like some grineer have,that should make for some interesting gameplay, and actually make it creepy,because for now only somewhat creepy infested place is at Phorid with the dimmed red lights,and even those aren't dimmed enough,I want to be forced to use my flashlight,my muzzle flash and my skills to light the place up,now THAT would be a true infestation.

  2. Pretty sure no one is doing mobile defense because they believe the enemy must be stopped.They do it because of the perks like fun,mods and resources.

    But some people like to abandon the defense objective and farm the enemy away from the team.Sometimes it's so widespread that no one actually is at the objective defending it and I'm forced to go back there to defend it from the hordes of 1 or 2 if I'm lucky while everyone is having a good time.Awesome!

    So yes please rage cause I abandoned the mission at the last "Get to the extraction" minute while I'm the host.Please do!

     

    tl;dr:Stop farming away from team!

    While I do agree with you,and I personally do M-Def with 1 weapon that is just for leveing and 1 main weapon in case s**t hits the fan,thus I hate it when it ends up with me losing exp because of people that do that. I also want to jam my fist down your throat for "So yes please rage cause I abandoned the mission at the last "Get to the extraction" minute while I'm the host.Please do!" not only you wasted your time,but you make everyone's else time a waste because after host migration EXP is reset to zero,this I know after me and 2 random other guys let the 3rd one die 3 times in a row untill he ran out of revives because he couldn't sit with us at the defend objective for the shared EXP (he was the host tho),so in the last minute at the extraction he left,and when my burston should have went from lvl 8 > 15 or so,it went from 8 > 8 because we got 0 EXP due to host migration.Hope DE fixes the EXP reset at the migration.

  3. First off, like you hinted at.  Wrong forum section.  Belongs in feedback.

    Second, I'm pretty sure the devs aren't going to open themselves up to a can of worms like mobile payment on here unless they have a very large number of players asking for it.  We're talking probably over 1,000.

    Guys,you heard the man. Everyone who is kind enough to help us,the ones who do not have access to a credit card,or other payments besides mobile phone,give this post +1 to support us.

  4.  Please for the love of god,re-add mobile payments back.You cannot IMAGINE the amount of people that would start buying plat if you would do so.I personally do not own a credit card ( My business ),and no,there are no game-card shops in my country.No idea why you removed the option back in March but I really don't want to start deleting frames to get new ones.So PLEASE I want to buy platinum so badly,at least give an answer to this post if you are(not) adding the option back(preferably before Necro comes out).

  5.   Well I have to say 1 thing,Warframe has the potential of being in the top 5 most played games.Since the the times of the Closed Beta I knew that this game could be so much more,yet lately that seems to be diminished mainly because they are focusing to much on adding new content instead of improving what already exists.

      

      My personal opinions would be:

     

    1.A lore,a story. People can't get attached to the game if there's just some guys killing other guys because those guys attacked those guys because those guys didn't like the other guys. (ya that's pretty much how warframe felt in the closed beta) Also try giving the Frames more personality,the new idle animations for every frame is GREAT,next up there should be custom melee attacks for every frame ( this could even go so far to influencing some frames being better at melee than others in certain situations due to different attack angles ), and many other things if voice isn't really an option from what I understood.

     

    2.Balance current frames instead of releasing new ones,easiest way of doing this is either adding extra effects to already existing skills that seem weak (if you don't really want to remake them from ground up as different,more useful ones),thus making them worth using and not unequipping them because all you need is just 1 skill (yes I'm looking at you 4 button). Also in general just try making ALL frames feel useful.I mean like...what's the point of bringing an Ash to a defence when pretty much any other frame does way better than him,or what's the point of bringing a Vauban to a Raid/Capture/Deceive/Spy/Rescue when all his skills are stationary and the action there is usually ongoing from room to room,thus making Ash there feel more useful than Vauban will be. In general frames that bring utility to specific needed areas are WAY better than frames with damage...the reason why Ember for example is almost useless everywhere past lvl 80 enemies and Vauban dominates ... and lvl 80 enemies are easily reachable on Defence maps.

     

    3.Balance the weapons or fix armor.Currently I see no reason to use anything past level 50 enemies that doesn't have armor ignore/armor pierce/serrated blade/poison damage type.Either make enemies have a flat % in reduction to damage (doesn't scale with level) and make that be reduced by armor pierce,and if we pass that % with our armor piercing mods we will actually do increased damage than they would take if they had 0 armor.Or creating destroyable spots on the enemies that soak up a flat amount of damage,where armor piercing mods will excel at doing increased damage to these spots,and letting only enemy HP scale,also making armor ignore weapons just hit their HP directly (even if that doesn't make sense since getting hit by a bolt launching weapon for about 60 rounds in 5 seconds should pretty much obliterate any armor)

     

    4.Make game modes more fun,no one wants to farm 50 runs for Saryn or other frame,and NO one wants to do it while its exactly the same scenario every time. So just add some...wait no...MANY RNG based events inside all the mission types. Also make the mission types more immersive,for example you're fighting Phorid and all of a sudden LOTUS : I am detecting a malfunction in the ship's electrical systems,it seems like the infestation has destroyed the ships power supply. < an all of a sudden the game turns into a horror game where you're only source of light is your Flashlight and if you're lucky enough to bring Ember for example (or other frames) and us the skills to light up the place.  < It's those kind of things that would make everyone play any kind of mission just to see what things will happen next,what dangers will they have to face,what obstacles must they overcome.

     

    5.More customization options. Obviously some will be obtainable by playing,others obtainable by purchasing them,or simply make them to how the helmets currently work,either wait a lot of time if you're patient to get one,or simply buy it faster with platinum.This should include more armor types for every frame,also giving stats like helmets. A slider for the helmet (and maybe armor) stats that allow you to chose between having 1 of the stat more but with a greater reduction to the other. Lights + ambiance changing color for the dojo (since the same old blue gets boring,Warlord only option). Weapon skins...etc.

     

    6.Maybe even try adding a PvP mode. I understand there is no time and resources to balance things out,so just make it that when you enter a PvP match every frame gets only the first 3 skills available ( let's face it,they're fairly balanced for PvP as it is ) and at level 1,the frames themselves will have all other mods unequipped. The weapons will also have all mods removed from them.   < All that should allow for some interesting PvP and maybe the addition of PvP modes WAY BEFORE you will need to actually balance the skills and frames for PvP only.

     

     Ok I think I wrote enough for now,but you get the point. If all that's fixed first and game goes into official release afterwards MORE players will enjoy to see new frames and weapons being added than just those that are currently playing. Also the moment people hear of all those changes being made,they'll rush back to Warframe in swarms. 

  6.    So,after quiet a few days of thinking,I finally decided to make a post about the things I would like to see improved and/or fixed in Warframe. Feel free to disagree and give valid arguments to why or why not they are good.Also I do not know if others may have suggested these somewhere in the forums since I don't like searching for hours through thousands of posts. This might no be the best section for this post,so excuse me but I don't really use forums all that much in any game.This might be a bit long but I think it's worth the read.So let's being...

     

       1. A timer + number of targets affected by certain skills that have durations.

     

     So,after MANY times I lost defence missions because I was zooming in to shoot stuff in the distance and my Bastile/Snow Globe disappeared (and what not in many other situations), I thought this would be a nice change.

    It's pretty simple actually, just add a new interface tab or what not (since casting 20 Vauban teslas can get pretty hectic on your screen) where it shows each used skill with a timer and targets affected (if skill works that way) by it.

       For an example let's take Nyx's Chaos,we all know we want to cast it the moment the last target dies,we just don't know if it's dead or not due to how Chaotic (pun intended) it is,or if targets are not dead before the timer runs out (here's where the timer jumps in).

       So basically just add an icon on your screen that shows on the top side how many targets are still effected by a skill and on the bottom side how many seconds does it still have until it expires. This can work for Frost's globe,all of vauban skills,nova's prime,saryn's venom,nyx's mind control,volt's speed and barrier,etc.

     

    TL;DR = Make an icon on screen where you can see both time left and targets affected by certain skills.

     

       2.People crying over nova being OP.

     

      Now this may seem a bit off at first,but this is simple.Let's face it,everyone crying over Nova being OP are all those who want their name on the top of the Leaderboard list,and they know they can't get there if Nova steals their kills,and playing alone results in less enemies spawning so that will just make it harder for them than playing in a party.

      Easiest fix for it all is simple : Remove kill counter after each match ( or just show own kills and not everyone else's) and remove most Kills for Leaderboards,and replace them maybe with total EXP,or maybe add multiple leaderboards not only kills,stuff like most assists,or most revives,etc. That will also promote teamwork and less AFK-ing in matches.

     

    TL;DR = Make it so people can't see how many kills others get,and on the Leaderboards add more than just Total Kills ranking (assists,revives,etc thus promoting teamwork in the process)

     

       3.Some things that would make Alternate helmets better.

     

      So let us face it...we've ALL wanted that one helmet that looks better than the one we use,but we still use that one because it has the better stats that we need.

      This is easy,interchangeable helmet stats,so you want the Squall helmet stats on the Aurora helmet ? just let us change it (IF you have both helmets acquired).

      Another thing that I think will GREATLY improve what DE already wants (not focusing on the same loadouts/builds). Imagine a slider after you changed the stats from one helmet to another that lets you adjust the stats gained but also decreasing that losing stats by the same ratio.A good example would be like "Oh I want my frost to be a nuker C: " So you nicely equip your Squall helmet (or Aurora since you could now change stats between them) and move the slider towards more Power Strength (also this system should have a cap to maybe 3 times more than the default helmet offers,I'll let DE crunch the numbers) thus reducing your shields and increasing your power strength. So it goes like "I want 30% more power strength instead of just 15% but that will also come with a -10% shield cost,and +45% power strength would mean -15% shield cost,and let's face it -15% shields is a lot to frost since he has high shields and shield reduction from helmet decreases it AFTER the Redirection mod increases it,but that's the price you have to pay to be a nuking Frost.

      Of course tweaking will be necessary,because having a Mag with +75% power range and -15% shield capacity seems a bit strong...? Or that's just me,depends on how you see it.

       Obviously a good advantage of this would be that you can play your frame how you want it,and not be limited by what it can do now,also that might also stop some people from QQing about Nova being OP,when other frames might somehow match her destructive power.

      This can work both ways if you want your Frost more of a tank for example move the slider to the opposite direction,first being +0% and -0% and then -15% power for +5% shields.

     

    TL;DR = Interchangeable helmet stats and a slider that can let you increase or decrease the ratio of stats on helmets.(will have a cap and,will need tweaks on some helmet stats so they don't become ridiculous)

     

       4.Loadouts/Temporary inventories 

     

       We all hate it how we must wait 2 minutes when we want to change 1 weapon to another and move all the mods across from 1 weapon to the other.So why not make a Temporary Mods button in the weapon mod change screen where you can move any mod you want there,and it shows the exact same mods for all the weapons,and when you move them from there onto your weapon it automatically moves them from weapon A to weapon B without you needing to go to weapon A,unequip all mods,then go to weapon B and equip them. 

      This should also be applied to Warframes.So you want to play Nyx but all your mods are on Ember ? No problem,just go directly to Nyx click the Temporary Mods button where you have placed all your useful mods and quickly drag them onto your Nyx directly from your Ember,thus making a task that takes 1 minute (yes,unequiping and then searching through so many useless mods that you might just use in certain situations takes a while) into a task that takes 10-15 seconds.

     

    TL;DR = Mods on Ember? Want to play Nyx?Go directly to Nyx,click the temp mod button where you placed all your mods that you might use for frames and just quickly drag them onto Nyx (thus no need to search through hundred of mods),reducing a 1-2 minute process into 10-15 seconds.

     

      5.Torid Clouds vs Toxic Ancient Clouds

     

      Let's face it,there have been so many times a toxic ancient gets killed by an ally's Torid,and you just want to go there because you see his cloud and a mod on the ground...and you just die for no reason and wonder why.

      Can't be any easier,just make on of those 2 colors different, make ancients have a red cloud or brown maybe ? I'll let other figure this out.

     

    TL;DR = ^ Up there ^

     

      6. EXP/affinity after Host Migration. (might just be a bug)

     

     So I was playing Kappa the other day where some Excalibur (the host) kept dying because he just went in the middle of them,he had no more revives because we did not bother reviving him while surrounded by a Grineer platoon,so he stood there dead,we approached the ending and I guess he was really &!$$ed on us for not reviving him after defending everything and he just quit,Host migration kicked in and we went to the finish just to see we got 0 EXP/affinity since we kill everything before he migrated.

      I know there are many Host migration issues but this just needs fixing ASAP,since hosts tend to leave or get disconnected way to often.

     

    TL;DR = Make it so EXP doesn't reset after a host migration.

     

      7.Dojo lights color changer.

     

     So this is something that I (a Warlord) would really enjoy if it was implemented. You know that the dojo has the blue lights on walls and were not,and blueish atmosphere to it. An option to change the colors of those lights and the atmosphere would be REALLY welcomed,even if they just give a standard color pellet and we need to buy more afterwards,or maybe be the same colors we already have for Frames/Weapons (that might make people buy more of them).

      Also a dimming or increasing of the lights (to a certain degree because we don't want sunglasses everytime we go to duel someone or run the obstacle course) would be welcome. Making your dojo Red + low lights and feeling like you're gonna fight Phorid any moment is just fantastic (or how many more ideas people can come up with like yellow color + strong lights giving the feeling of a Holy Dojo C:).

     

    TL;DR = Ability to change colors of lights and dimming/increasing light intensity in the dojo.

     

       So I hope you guys like all that,and if you approve of it give it a +1 and maybe DE might do some of them. I will add more the moment i'll come up with something else on the go.
