Good for a laugh, as always.  Loki is the pinnacle of EZmode.  He is well-suited for those accustomed to playing though single player games with cheats enabled, but is detrimental to the game's health on the whole due to the ability to trivialize missions for his teammates as well as himself.

And yet he has been in the game since beta and never had he once, been a detriment to the games difficulty or a top priority to run any mission.

In fact Loki was considered a weaker warframe for the longest time. It's only when infested went away was he considered good, because of the large amount of grineer missions that we now had.

But I know you'll keep playing pretend, and imagine these non existent scenarios, where loki is the god of warframe.

  2. Just another day of trying to pretend loki is overpowered. You really need to stop spreading your misinformation in every thread you can.

It's universally accepted that Loki is the pinnacle of balance. Everything under loki is considered under the point of balance.

His invisibility is easily countered by stray bullets or him shooting at enemies since they shoot in the general vicinity.

His radial disarm doesn't stop enemies. The proof is in every game played by loki ever. He doesn't make the squad invincible and I think many will agree there is a dozen other frames that support better than he can. But don't let me stop you.

  3. So let me get this straight. An end game focused (lol) ability, that requires tons of investment is doing it's job as a way to supply energy just like the tree said it would. An ability that doesn't work for channeled skills and doesn't give any bonus to your team mates is supposedly op? Your only argument is that you don't need primed flow. Wow a focus tree actually helped me. Lets nerf it like the other terrible  trees! I'd appreciate if you just put a little put more thought into your post.

  4. For the longest time people complained about how weak melee was in the face of guns. They had better mods and better stats. Now we finally get a glorious shiny mod that makes melee more rewarding and people are complaining? I know DE talked about removing mandatory mods but is that patch here yet? Now cut out the whining and let me enjoy cutting up my enemies. Thank you.

And it has to be a nuke? I mean the CC itself is fine. It's not god tier but it's decent.

Just because it's fine for you doesn't mean that is fine for everyone else. It doesn't affect me so it must be okay is a terrible argument that shouldn't be used.

Second for a warframe described as an alternative to gunplay, having no damage and instead given a damage cap is sad.  Let's not pass your opinion off as a fact before thinking.

  6. I want Wukongs cloud to get good movement speed stun more than just once and his first ability to get buffed before I play him again. I do love Wukong but DE seems to think he is fine the way he is. Dealing damage is not the only thing that means a warframe is fine.

    Uhhh

    That's not how things work.

Some could argue that you had months to consider what you very much clearly knew was an timed exclusive cosmetic at the time. If you wanted it that badly couldn't you have saved up for it during those months?

For now all we can do is wait for it to be re-released in a Prime Vault

DE decides how it works, and they can break their trend if they feel like it. Besides I was taking a break from warframe when this dropped so I missed it.

Electric Shield is completely invulnerable to damage. It will never drop, aside from the duration just running out. That's a huge advantage, and there's almost no reason to ever have more than 6 shields. Adding to this is that because it only ever drops from the duration running out, having little to no energy cost on carrying it is likely to promote a more selfish playstyle, in which the Volt just drops a shield for himself, picks it up and runs around with it, all while taking hardly any damage. Because again, the shield. This carrying mechanism was also something previously not present at all -- can't exactly call it a nerf to something we didn't have in the first place.

Speed needs some kind of opt-out, and the recast helps this. Still see no issue with this.

On the topic of the ultimate: Volt's never really been known for ability damage, despite his description. Anyone who really put playtime into Volt can tell you this (most of your damage is instead going to come from shooting through Electric Shield). Ignoring the damage output of both Overload and Discharge (because Overload certainly wasn't known for the damage either), Discharge is instead a very strong CC ability. The stun timer you can get on it is absurd, once you get enough duration on him -- and you should, given how his other abilities scale off duration.

    Still not seeing the nerf.

I didn't ask for a description of electric shield. I know how it works.

You asked for where Volt was nerfed and I showed you. His shields being at 6 is okay for you. I used to like placing a bunch of them while playing interception. This is objectively a nerf. Pretending it's not is either trolling or showing your lack of intelligence.

Infinity > 6. Every single time.

Again you saying it's fine for you doesn't mean something is fine the way it is. I had multiple team mates express their anger at the fact that they had to go find the buff in a fast paced scenario. There are many alternatives to a dropped buff.

The ultimate has long Duration if you don't hit the damage cap. I've had cases where it only lasted 3 seconds on corpus. Also shrugging it off as not supposed to do damage is just dismissing a logical point by making an assumption.  Since when was a warframe DE still think is an alternative to gunplay not supposed to do damage?

Not seeing a nerf because you have a blind fold on. The OP was stating they changed things in the wrong way. Hence why they are still releasing updates fixing volt now. Open your eyes.

I'm still looking for the part of Volt's rework that was a nerf.

    Still haven't found it.

Really? From unlimited shields down to 6. You can pick one up now and lose all your energy!

Still hard for allies to pick up your speed buff.

The ultimate while slightly better than old ultimate has damage cap, and surprise has terrible damage. For the warframe still being called an alternative to gunplay I don't see how a damage cap fits in that idea.
