  1. What's "number"? All it says on my receipt and the mag itself is "October 2013". That's what I wrote with the game name in the subject and again in the body. The attached receipt even had an image of the issue in question.

After not getting a reply for over a week I wrote again in easy-to-read table form that explicitly states "game: Warframe", "issue: october 2013, PC Gamer" and whatnot, just to be sure. I don't think it gets any more unambiguous than that. That's been several days ago, too.

The issue number for the October issue is 257. Cheers. What I did was copy-paste my Zinio receipt into the sent email along with the issue date, magazine name and game I'd been requesting a code for. Hoping that produces results.

  2. Thanks! I did it before I was able to get on the forums to report. But success! The game looks beautiful! It's as if I went from watching something on Standard Definition to HD.

    I used this guys settings:

It's called "sharp and clean" and so worth doing. No real FPS drop at all.

I use similar settings, but no SMAA, and I have Lumasharpen at a slightly higher value. Really helps the game look more like it should.

  3. Hey as I'm weary of running stuff with Warframe (as I'm sure others are, and why we have this thread) was it difficult to install? Does it cause Warframe to glitch out at all?

Thanks for sharing those screencaps. Visually the differences are clearly there. =)

It wasn't difficult to install at all. It largely consists of simply placing the SweetFX files into the game's main folder. It doesn't cause any glitches because the SweetFX system itself is a visual overlay, not something that directly interfaces with the game. Cheers.

  4. Thought about getting a Razer, decided to go with Logitech because of history and two scroll options. And by history I mean that I'm used to the shape of it etc.

Yeah, the Deathadder's been my first gaming mouse, but I do quite enjoy Razer's habit for making the left and right clickers with a 'grooved' shape. Pray tell, what mousepad are you using? I like to think that pad is as important as peripheral.

  5. I read "Make Chaos unlimited again" and completely disregarded all potential value with the rest of the comment. Chaos was broken OP before. Nyx still needs some real fixes to be as useful as Nova/Rhino in terms of each skill having use.

I concur. I opted out of Psychic Bolts in my build as much as I enjoyed the concept of psychokinetic projectiles.

That said, OP, I also Nyx main, and while I didn't have the experience of using Chaos while it was unlimited, much less was I playing at the time, but I get great use out of it. With maxed Flow, Continuity and a decked-out Snipetron or Lanka, you can really put down the hurt.
