  1.

As far as F2P'ers having access to it being able to vote etc, the developers work hard, the design council is kind of a reward/perk for acknowledging that hard work with our own hard earned money. Why you feel that someone who has no interest in supporting the further development of the game should have a say in what that development is I guess I just don't get.

I don't know if this was aimed at me, but I do think that if either viewership of, or voting on, future content, were on the table for F2P'ers, I'd sooner pick the former than the latter. Though I'm sure we all acknowledge either of the two rest on thin ice, which I can respect. I'm in no way adamant on the matter, personally speaking.

  2. Someone posted an interesting idea to me anonymously... Give three sets of criteria to vote, complete one and you can vote on the Design council. One criteria would be of a certain post minimum on the forums, and approved by a Forum or Community Moderator, another would be to have a certain combination of time/mission completed/Mastery rank/Exp, and the last would be Master/Grandmaster.

    Opinions?

It seems pretty ironclad, although this is all under the presumption that access would be granted to non-Councilors in the future. Which, if it didn't, I wouldn't express disdain for.

  3. I wouldn't object to all Warframe players being able to view what it is the Design Council are discussing and voting on for implementation, and I've put a fair amount of money into the game, mind. It can be argued that people who aren't part of the Council can see what's forthcoming via leaks from its own members, but if people are so concerned about the game's future, distant or near, I don't see a reason why they can't access that material from the game site.

On that note, it's not as though the leaked material is shoved in one's face, and I don't think efforts are made to conceal the content on the various sites it's uploaded to. Titles to pages, or links written as "New/Upcoming/Concept: (insert item/character name here)" come to mind. So I guess what I'm saying, OP, is I agree.
