  1. You could...do your research a bit before you make such a topic. DE us hard at work on new content to keep the majority happy. Besides, have you seen the scale of Fortuna's update? It's absolutely massive! Something like that takes a lot of time and effort DE is already aware of the so-called drought. Just wait till Wednesday.

  2. I think a couple things sound a bit too harsh from an average player's perception. Losing resources? Ouch! Level 100? 60-80 sounds more approachable.

On another note, I can't find a place more appropriate for this than the Tau system. It wouldn't work in the Origin system.

So I haven't seen this discussed, I might be wrong, but I see people assuming there will be more Umbra rather than buffing existing frames. First reaction I'm sure this sounds stupid but let me explain.

You may not care now, because you dont have Excalibur Prime and thats fine I wont get into that argument, but you aren't thinking of the long term, you arent thinking of what additional Umbra frames means for Prime and Prime Access. Imagine Ember is next, Umbra Ember is now more powerful, it makes operator mode stronger, it can use mods other frames can not polarize for, it is in every way better than prime. Would you ever use Ember Prime anymore? Other than to show off perhaps? Would you buy, say, Ivara Prime Access if you know soon enough Ivara Umbra will come out and make it useless other than for fashion? Obviously you can farm it but plenty do buy, but Umbra would make Prime less valuable. Of course would other Umbra's have something like a 'Prime Access'? Would they be free and obtainable like Umbra Excalibur was? There are plenty of questions to ask in regards to the future systems here but I think there is a better solution over all.

    'Bonding' Frames or 'Umbrafication'

This may be what DE already has in mind but a friend of mine and I have been mulling over this idea for a few days now. Helminth has a pod in the back that is unsued as of now. We know Helminth is the strain that makes Warframes, why not allow him to take a single frame for x amount of time (Sped up by plat if you so choose) to 'Umbrafy' the frame? This would give you back the frame, as is, but now you can further bond with it and unlock the ability to use Umbra mods and gain autonomy while in operator mode. Unlocking would be something along the lines of doing a checklist of things relative to the frame that may take a good few hours to accomplish(For a lazy example; Ember- burn 1000 enemies with fireball. There would be more thought put in obviously, this is just a quick example.) and then finally you have bonded and receive access to the Umbra Mod Polarization and autonomy in operator mode. Umbra would still be a unique frame and should be the only one to have a complete skin overhaul, look, and story while these bonded frames (A term I prefer to separate them from Umbra while still having the same effects) could be made to allow the option to use the scarf and perhaps have an alt 'Umbra' helm. This would save DE plenty of work not having to do entirely new skins as well and would put additional Umbra like frames in the hands of players faster, allow them to have their favorite frame fight along side their operator and not devalue the Prime Frames.

edit: Some other ideas to work off Bonding with frames.

-Setting up small macros to let them fight to your style once autonomous.

-Strengthening the bond, each frame can apply a buff to the operator to make them better, example, Loki- move faster in void stleath and use less energy upkeep in it.

-And perhaps finally some sort of combination of Tenno and Warframe powers, a super of sorts to be built up over time like say destiny does. What those supers are who knows but a similar system to obtaining energy to be able to launch it.

Also; forget ';umbrafication' stick with bonding. No alt helm, no scarf, thats fine. That was only there as a way to allow more umbra and let DE have less work to do but I guess thats too much for some. I hadn't heard that more were coming but if so its all the more reason to not allow umbras to outclass everything if they are limited. umbras would have unique fashion and one new ability it is only the polarization for umbra mods which is needed on other frames (Especially if we go to Tau) and for the autonomy of the frame which is a cool feature that would make the player stronger if they could choose to upgrade their frames to have not to just leave on a single frame or small number of frames.

Welp, time to sue the helminth pod!

General Feedback, not General Discussion.  I agree with your sentiment, but this is a feedback section. :p

I dislike two of the PoE challenges in particular.  This one, and the one where you have to kill wildlife with a spear.  Looking for those little balls of tan is a boring pain, and they seem to magically disappear when I have my spear out and want them to appear.

You can kill kubrow for this one, apparently.
