  1. It's not genocide. Some Grineer leave the Empire and help us and the civilians - therefore, we're not trying to commit a genocide against the Grineer. 

    We really are keeping them in check; somebody has to.

  2. Well, not really. In comparison to the amount of Grineer currently running amok in Sol, the Tenno are a miniscule force - this is why our missions include stealth and subterfuge. If you think about it, none of our operations actually include open combat, just face-offs with smaller enemy forces. Against the full brunt of Grineer military machine, we can do little if any damage at all.

    all i can think of the the radio in our ship and the grineer going on to a ship finding all of them dead and saying "we have another one" 

    then again they are all clones so is it really genocide?

  3. The Grineer Empire, such as it is, wants to kill off or enslave the entirety of the Solar system. The Tenno help by keeping them in check.

     

    As for the Corpus, they're a money-worshipping sect that indoctrinates people into its ranks. Come on, as bad as we may be, they're no better.

     keep them in check more like show then who really runs this place 

  4. Or they could remove Keys and Cells from the void drops.

    Cells should drop with regular resources in the void, and Keys should be removed from those drops and drop more often outside of the void.

    Then, T1, T2, and T3 Interception needs to be added, along with some type of Void Spy and Void Excavation. After that, there should be no difficulty fitting in all of the current and upcoming prime items for a while.

    excavation might be coming with the moon base?

  5. Found a Bug with EB: 

     

    when you are not the host of a match and have the loka skana mod (forget the name right now) on and use EB it keeps the proc effect.

    Tested this in 3 matches and it only happens when i was not the host.

     

    (did not know how to pull the screen shots out of steam)

  6. I only have one Thing i would like to clear up.

     

    Exalted Blade:

     

    I love the rework but I would like to know why the wave damage is not effected by power mods but the sword strike is?

    I have tested the power a lot and  found that with all 3 power mods equipped it does not change the damage of the wave but only the strike itself.

    The wave looks to only take on the damage bonus of base damage mods and nothing else?

     

    If some one from DE can tell me if my testing is correct and or if it is a bug?

  7. 50% crit rate would be awesome, but it might be far too high for a polearm. Plus , no matter how slow it is, Berserker will always boost the speed on a crit-based melee weapon. If the focus is a big, slow AOE crowd-control weapon that can hit like a truck, maybe this would be better:

    Damage: 150 (Imp. 20, Pun. 40, Sla. 90)

    Speed: 0.8

    Critical Chance: 10%

    Critical Multiplier: 2.0x

    Status Chance: 30% or 35%

    that sound good i forot about the Berserker mod and the stats you had in mind would still alow for great proc chance.

     

    going to try and do some are for this tonight if anything comes of it i will try and post.

  8. i had an idea for a pole scythe not the short ones we have now but full on grim reaper size pole scythes.

    the idea behind it is that it would give nice AOE / CC powers if it had a high crit or proc chance as of right now there are no weapons (melee) that have this power.

     

    some ideas for stats.

    Speed = 0.900

    Physical damage = 80

    Crit chance = 50.0%

    Crit Multiplier = 2.0x

    Status chance = 20.0%

     

    Edit: so here is my first try and a quick drawing of it. my idea is for the blades to turn in when stored on the back and only one out unless you are doing large combos.

  9. So sort of like gauntlets/claws made out of like what radial energy?

    kinda the claws were an example. think of the "energy" that is used in the sword blade, that would make the weapon of your choice be it claws, dagger, or one large sword. the gauntlets would simply mold the energy in to shape.

  10. I had this idea after playing with the Silva & Aegis for a bit.

     

    I am not sure what to call this and iI would welcome any recommendations on things to change. 

     

    the idea is that depending on the stance you put in changes the weapon you get and how it acts.

    the interesting part of this is that it would change depending on the stance or combo chain you are in. 

     

    for example.

     

    one might look like valkyers claws and the next might look like ash's arm blades. and at another time make an energy version of two swords to use and with the duel swords combo/stance the energy merges to make one large sword near the end for a finishing attack. but none of the weapons are "physical" they are all made of energy like the blade of the Silva & Aegis.

     

     

    the gray parts would have your energy color and this is claws for an example.

So i have been thinking about our kubrows and how useful they could really be and in different ways, here i have the base for a blade weilding kubrow that would deal more damage than your standard bite and be much more agile as it would run through an enemy to strike instead of poising to bite, i have a few other consepts such as a healing kubrow that would you and neaby team mates and a stomper kubrow with gauntlets that would make shockwaves, but before i continued i wanted some comunity feedback,

     

    this is a super rough sketch just to give you an idea of what i was thinking, there would also be a harness that hols the blade and so on but like i said i want to see if this is even something people would be interested in

    all i can think of is dark souls lol. that is not a bad idea to let it use some of our swords.

    For example the new AkZani are nearly identical to the Afuris/Dexfuris. Why? Why do we need another set of dual machine pistols that are nearly identical to ones already available? Why not alter the stats to give it a different role? Why not a status based smg? 

    AKstilletos with all 3 event mods has like 50-60% proc chance.

  13. No, the placement is far more significant than what it can be destroyed with, because they can be destroyed at all.  9 times out of 10 the arc traps that get me are:

     

    1. well hidden to the point I have to run through them just to even see where they're firing from.

     

    2. Grouped close together so they deal double damage.

     

    3. On the opposite side of the door placed at such a distance that you always get shocked by them when entering the door (in one case, on the door itself.)

     

    4. In a place where I'm most likely to be surrounded by enemies or panicking from losing oxygen in survival.

     

    If there was a giant red sign that pointed to one arc trap sitting in the middle of an open room, I'm fine.  It's that the arc traps are randomly generated, thus are placed in random locations.

    that is what i was trying to get at some time they are placed inside of objects.

  14. some discussion. ppl whining about a low level companion dying because they choose to gimp their layout not bringing all of their available weapons, by not disarming (destroying traps), by bringing the companions to places that you know ahead of time are detrimental to its health instead of playing in other locations.

     

    everything that is being complained about in this thread can be neutralized/worked around with some stratetic planning, instead of just jumping into a mission and seeing what happens. Bad habits

    i had never ran in to arctraps on mucury untill i took my kubrow there, am i still ignorant for not bringing a gun with me when i thought there were only going to be greneer?

  15. Not that I support that "shoot it, noob" nonsense, but why do you only have a sword?  Why not two guns along with the sword?

     

    you choose not to bring all of your available equipment, you choose to accept the limitations that that implies.

    i only wanted to point out that you can not destroy arc traps with a sword (when i try and level items i only run with that item to make it go a little faster) if you could destroy arc traps with a sword there would be no problem other then the placement of said arc traps.

There is a simple solutin for some of the clan tec Tenno swords etc. do they look cool yes the nikana looks great but they came out with the dragon nikana and is 2x stronger then its little brother. so why not do that to the venka and the Silva & Aegis? solves 2 problems with one go, we get a "new" weapon (the old one with a slight twist) and the damage we want with a harder crafting (you need 3 argon, 2 OC, 1 forma, and the first weapon).

  17. isn't the universal response to arc trap/laser complaints, "did you try shooting it?"?

     

    the problem comes in when you only have a sword.

     

    Too much lazy people in this game. Just shoot the goddamn lasers, you have guns.

    again if you only have a sword you are boned when it comes to arc traps. my kubrow died 2 times from arctraps you can not destroy with a sword attack or have then in the wall so i could not shoot it.

  18. I think my quest glitched my kubrow has matured but i've stopped getting any more messages from the Lotus and i have no quest markers i tried doing "begin quest" again but it just put me back to trying to find everything you need at first for the kubrow

     

     

    put it in the bug mega thread.

    you should get a quest for earth to defend your kubrow.
