Maxed Flow. I use it and have 450 energy at maximum, it's really useful while constitution only gives 28 power duration for 13 points.
Oh hai, I can haz that 450 energy plzzz?

So this means fully maxed serration and hornet strike is spectcular. Like, kill ancients easily spectacular. Damn.
Yep, it truly is. Hence it's absurdly high upgrade cost - but getting these mods to high levels is what truly makes your weapons shine in the long run.

I actually finally managed to max my serration today, the last level took like 600 k though (not to mention all those fusion cores).
It's definitely worth it in the long run though, since serration (as well as hornet strike and point blank) increase the BASE damage of the weapon and are calculated before all the other effects actually take place. What this means, is that the extra serration level not only grants you those +15% damage, but also empowers all your elemental mods (which indirectly makes mods like + fire rate or + multishot more effective too).

Yep, the login process got considerably slower for me, I have problems accessing the foundry, getting random disconnects and experiencing overall increase in lags. All of this started like 2 hours ago, was still fine in the morning.

Pretty unfair for 100% free2play-players, but that's how it works.
Well, I did buy the founder's package - though I've never spent even a single platinum to buy a potato, or a forma - yet I'm sitting at a few excess catalysts, reactors, and a few extra formas atm. You just need to pay attention to the "?" alerts - sure, the supercharging or formatting items are rare, but keep in mind, that once you install it in your weapon - it's a pretty big (and permanent) upgrade.
As for the OP's question - I would strongly suggest going either for the catalysts, or dropping some of the mods and installing the multishot mods (split chamber for the rifle, barrel diffusion for the vipers). The rifle/pistol multishot mods give you a chance to fire an extra bullet every time you shoot, copying not only the original bullet's base damage, but also any mod effects, that normally influence your damage - so, e.g. the rifle's 90% multishot effectively almost doubles your damage output.
Getting this mod can be a pain, though. I would suggest checking the endless defence loot tables here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Mission:_Endless_Defense
It's probably the most reliable way to drop multishot currently... And some extra void keys never hurt too. ;)

Yep, same problem here. I'm unable to join any game (and apparently others can't join me too) since update 8...

Yep, I also know of a few people who got Split Chamber on Kappa (including me). It's a fantastic mod farming spot.

yep, I'm getting the message too - even though my router has UPnP working and automatically forwards the ports mentioned in the message.
So, either my ISP blocks these ports on the router that aggregates the network traffic from my network (in which case there isn't anything I can do with it), or it's some server-side bug.

Hello,
well, I finally got my Frost out of the workshop. He's great so far, so I started planning his overall build. Personally, I think that it's best to focus on mod slots, as they have the potential to provide much better stats, than stat nodes - especially because the % mods are calculated multiplicatively...
That's my current idea:

As you can see, I have some dilemma with the third upgrade of the Avalanche skill. If I take it, I'm left with 12 mod slots, yet if I skip it, I lose it's range bonus to my ultimate.
So, here comes my question:
Would it be better, in your opinion, to take 12 mod slot nodes + 3rd Avalanche upgrade, or should I take the 13th mod slot and equip bonus range mod in it instead?
Any comments are greatly appreciated. ;)

Nah, it's not that. I killed Lieutenant Kril both yesterday and today, something like 10-15 times in total. Yesterday, I was getting a blueprint from almost every fight (there were maybe 1-2 fights where the loot from him did not contain any BP). Killed him 5-6 times today, and not a single BP dropped. Contrary to what Ninjaman999 said, I was always able to locate the BP lying on the ground if it actually dropped from the boss, so I'm absolutely sure, that I'm not getting any BP drops today.
Tested it with two other bosses (the Golem, and the Corpus one, dropping Mag schematics), also no BP drops. Resources and mods drop just fine though... Something definitely changed overnight.

Because it's percentage chance is low and unreliable, even with multishot. When I shoot a weapon at a group of enemies, I generally want to be able to predict the effect, not just pray that I blindly took an exploding arrow out of my quiver this time.
