  1. 1. Turrets sometimes get stuck like this and can't be used again.

    sFVdZT7.jpg%20

    2. Crewships jammed into drydock walls after completing a mission. Still shooting at the railjack.

    3. Half the ship becomes transparent in some pubs.

    Fz27Anq.jpg

    4. Avionic descriptions being oddly specific.

    OGVidbg.jpg

    5. Ruptured Hull parts sometimes lose their textures.

    6. Last but not least, the one, the only, the big kavat.

    I4nGW8u.jpg

  2. Me and many other people from alliance chat could not get the sentient ship to spawn on a blinking node. No "investigate anomaly" and no ship. After a few attempts at starting the mission again to see if it appears the node stopped blinking. I am so close to uninstalling this game.. This ship is essential to completing the new mission.

Warframe has always been grind and RNG (not Lich amounts of RNG) but nonetheless.

It's your fault you have forgotten your archwing, meanwhile I happen to enjoy my Amesha.

Apart from the bugs I actually like this update and need I remind you this is only Part 2 of the whole Empyrean update which consists of 3 Parts.

Give it a chance if you want. I have heard nothing but complaints about Empyrean but I honestly don't see what the fuss is all about.

and finally Each to their Own. No one is forcing you to build the Railjack. Absolutely no one.

I'm happy to see some positivity here. It's like people don't understand that this new ship we were given and these few missions we have now exist for the sake of us upgrading our ship until it's time for it to be taking us to actual missions, related to the "core experience". It must be tough to be DE with such negativity in the forums. The bugs are one thing, which I also don't like, but people failing to understand where this game is heading and posting their disappointment in the forum for all people to see is a bad look for the game.

  4. If you happen to join a random railjack squad, two things might happen. Your mission could go well with a few fun bugs like having your kuva ayanga equipped instead of the omni tool or walking around in the kneeling position, or your host might disconnect somehow and you get sent to the worst hell you've ever witnessed. You could just be lucky enough to see the following: Transparent ship, missing UI, the last crewship you need to complete the mission being stuck inside an asteroid, the railjack itself being stuck in the liset skybox with the mission complete but still in progress, distorted and mangled grineer tilesets, random pieces of metal sticking out infrond of the console hacking circle UI blocking your view, being locked inside the slingshot or turret for the whole mission, the ship being stuck in one place and can't move, grineer boarding squads glitching in the walls of the railjack, bleeding out kavats of your squad mates the size of a mobile defence console, and possible other things which I might have not experienced yet... Most of which lead to mission failure. I'm not trying to be mean. But the content is unplayable. I have wasted hours in missions that resulted in losses, not because of my skill level or the squad's performance but because of host issues..

    Two questions :

    1. Which "laser" are you referring to?

    2. Which mission map is the galleon located? I'm still on Earth (a bug deleted half my avi's, including market-bought ones) and I don't believe I saw one.

Seems 90% of players are bad at it, including the warframe partners. There's no mention of "pilots taking down cruisers with lasers" or "how to loot BPs".

Your a shining light in the void, my friend.

The console behind the navigation takes you down to the frontal artillery. It is a big charge attack laser that oneshots crewships and has 4 charges, consuming "dome charges" from the forge.

There is a random chance of the Galleon tileset to spawn in any mission that has a node that looks like a grineer ship (not asteroid).

  6. I was in a railjack mission during the latest hotfix and I chose to stay and gather resources while it was being deployed. When hotfix was done I went to navigation to exit the mission and receive the update. Clicking on the drydock node gave me a message about an updated version of Warframe being available and that missions cannot be entered until it is installed. I had no choice but to scrap the mission and lose all resources gained.

Not really. Pro engineer would not seal anything on sight. They only seal breaches when the countdown reaches 10~15 seconds to save a lot of mats.

Pro pilot would destroy rammers to ease the job of engineer.

Pro away team would slow the jets for himself and gunner to land hits more easily.

How are you saving materials of your ship is constantly breaching? If you just shoot everything in time the enemy won't get past the ship's shields.

I didn't know DE made you the judge, jury, and executioner on "correct" gameplay.

I never specified my views on the "correct" way to play. I only said that good players play as intended. But you literally have a weapon that oneshots the crewships and you chose to fly from one ship to the other and respawn 4 times to fight the core?

  9. 7 minutes ago, Aldain said:

By that logic good players should be modding their weapons for Magnetic damage against Grineer and bad ones use Corrosive or Radiation because they are effective against armor.

TIL Effective tactics = bad players.

No, by that logic good players play the game as it was intended to be played.

  10. When I drop out of an airlock during a railjack mission the HUD disappears and I can't see crosshairs, squad avatars, mission progress, turret target indicators ship's HP or ammo. Basically unarmed and clueless. The bug only goes away if I land the ship, exit the dojo and then come back. Otherwise it persists in the next mission.

So grinding your butt off instead of being stuck in the same place for eternity is not the way to play? Just what have I been doing for 4+ years, then?

I thought this was a looter-horde-shooter based on grinding.

    Oh, wait, it is...

People where looking for ways to complete it at all.

We leave it behind because upgrades do jack sh*t and don't help at all. Leaving it behind is the only way to play these missions within any reasonable amount of time.

Well, yes. Or do you want to spend hours in the same mission only to get nothing out of it?

I'm looking for said items and upgrades because otherwise it's impossible to even get any experience in the first place thanks to DE's failure to balance things.

I want fun. I can't have fun because I don't have the means to play the way I want due to lack of said items and upgrades.

I've completed the first missions several times before getting annoyed to death by DE's inability to get their stuff working. I didn't expect the update to be amazing, but they delivered even less than that. All we got is a paper-mache ship and 2 or 3 tilesets. The only difference is how fast you get annihilated.

Well, guess what I am doing right now. My disappointment knows no bounds.

I suggest you get your head out of the sand and look at the bigger picture - Railjack/Empyrean is flawed beyond anything else in the entire game and DE's first action was to make it even worse (i.e making crewships even more of a pain to deal with if you didn't unlock specific skills yet).

Heck, why don't you tell us how this game is "supposed to be played" so that we may be enlightend by your infinite wisdom?

And don't you dare to tell me "you're supposed to have fun mimimimi" I'M TRYING DAMN IT.

If the team and pilot is good the ship survives with almost no breach because all fighters are under control and all crewships are beamed down. If the team is bad they look for meta ways to do it. I'm sorry.

I didnt enjoy Archwing, even when it still had hitscan weapons. Railjack seems to just be archwing in a shared vehicle with just exterminate as it's single mode - is there a way for me to enjoy this content?

Like, does the gameplay change in the later part of the map or something?

This is just the launch of railjack. It will be expanded and it will become the railjack that was advertised, connecting the whole Warframe universe. It just needs to be user tested for a while.

basically one guy told me to stop repairing hull ruptures and fires, and only repair breaches, because I was "wasting materials"
Is that actually true or should I ignore people like them and repair everything?

Every problem in the ship drains it's HP to a certain threshold leading to a hull breach.. If you leave all the fires/ruptures/electric stuff your ship will have a hull breach every 5 seconds. The guy who told you that was just bad at railjack. You will have minimal damage taken if everyone does their job well. Gunners keep fighters at bay and the pilot beams down the crewships with the laser. You only board them if the laser runs out of ammo. Once all the crewships and fighters are cleared you hide the ship behind na asteroid and the whole squad goes in the galleon for the blueprint. The resources that have been loaded into the omni can not be taken out so using them to fix things is their only purpose.

  14. Joining a random railjack squad is a nightmare. If your host is aboard the railjack, miles away, and you're on a crewship, the door leading to the ship's core will not open unless he comes to walk through it. Not only that but you can't even get back off the ship. You're basically stuck there until the mission fails or everyone leaves. Not all people know this so most of the time the host never comes to open the door and we just get annihilated. And this has been an ancient host related bug too. It happens all across the game. If the host leaves you behind on a capture mission the doors won't open. This basically makes railjack a host only experience while everyone else is just stuck engineering or on turret duty.

Well... I'm pissed. I guessed 2 out of 3 mods needed for lich and what did I get when collected murmurs for the third 1? I got a finger. Why didn't DE even think that some dudes may guess mods right? That would make life easier, and you'd have to unlock only 2 remaining or 1 remaining mods.... I don't like current system, it does not reward players for guessing correct mods

I think the liches are already weak enough to make it easy. What's the point if people could also guess the mods in 5 minutes? Stop whining about grindy content. This IS what Warframe is about. Run a mission to get the lich to spawn and when he does he spawns at least 10 thralls. You can farm murmur fast as long as he doesn't unspawn.

X new weapon or frame comes out and there are tons of posts saying it is garbage because it doesn't work right in the Simulacrum.

It is a trap. It merely shows people what they want to see.

I think in order for people take someone's opinion on any new weapon or frame seriously he needs to place a valid argument and not just "I didn't like it". Plus all youtube videos of new gear are mostly showing it off in the sym anyway.

  17. 1 minute ago, Senguash said:

There's a lot of decent and good suggestion for things it would be nice if the simulacrum had.

The thread posted right before this one was about being able to spawn other tiles and that's a pretty good suggestion too.

The reason we don't get any of these is because the simulacrum isn't receiving any active development.

    Like ever.

Which I don't really disagree with either since it's not really actual content.

The simulacrum is sort of inconvenient and out of the way, but a lot of people end up spending a while in there anyway, so maybe it's not such a bad thing.

Having the ability to test weapons in the sym could actually boost sales. People will buy stuff with confidence knowing how it preforms in game.

  18. Was just wondering why they never thought to add a little market console (or tab in the existing console or arsenal) in the simulacrum where people could test-run how a weapon feels before they decide to buy it. A good example would be Staticor. By the looks of it  alone I was ignoring that weapon for ever until I saw a guy using it and decided it looks kinda fun.

  19. I need an amp that a blindfolded lazy person can use to just clear the field of any vomvalyats trying to heal the eidolon. Basically.

I am an instrument at the Quills and a Vox Solaris agent but do post any suggestions that might be out of my reach as I fail to see many people taking this role in most hunts.
