This weapon is already OP as S#&$ and total cheese cancer when combined with maiming strike, blood rush, and body count.  Add in relentless combo and you can get in the face of heavies when they survive the slash waves and one-shot them with your 6x combo multiplier.  This weapon doesn't need any buffs whatsoever.

Body count and mods like that don't actually help the damage as you may think, only if you're really really close and versus infested, maybe then.

It's not too bad, but it's still bad enough. Even without using a macro you can still spam it fast enough to make it cheese through most enemies. Toss in an elemental combination for CC and you end up with a weapon that can literally blaze through a mission leaving the enemy unable to accurately counter the player in any reliable fashion.

Right now it's just barely tolerable. Any time one appears in a mission the person always gets top damage and kills. However, there's a margin for user error that can still cause you to get killed. Adding anything to it, as it is right now, would make it an intolerable mess.

I can attest to this since I am an insufferable telos boltace spammer jammer

Then please do go and have a look at the Feedback thread. It is quite a simple proposition: If DE want to make it so that research stockpiles which players can use to cash in on new research projects immediately upon release are no longer a thing, then there is a much more elegant way of doing that than simply making the research costs astronomically high. Clan research projects would probably work a lot better, and would always require a certain amount of investment from players and co-operation from clans, if they worked more like researching Dojo Pigments, where the research materials cannot be pre-farmed because they only drop while the project is ongoing.

How is that a hateful suggestion? How is that anything other than accepting the way that DE would like the game to work, and making a suggestion as to how to smooth out the rough edges of the requirement curve?

We need to let the hate out by killing players in-game and stealing their mutagen samples.

Given Grineer are present on Mercury, Sedna, Saturn, Uranus, Derelicts, Mars, the Kuva Fortress, and in the Void to an extent, it's not bad.

Contrast with the Corpus, who are on Venus, Phobos, Europa, Jupiter, Pluto, and in the Void, or the Infested, who are on two nodes every planet, Eris, and Invasions.  And the Void.

It might be too specific, yes, but among the factions, Grineer are the most plentiful, so...

An element such as toxin or electric is >>>>> grineer bonus damage

More versatility and you can indeed get grineer bonus damage from the element.

You will see some rivens which have a negative faction stat, but people keep that because the other stats are just much better in comparison.

I'm not quite so sure you are able to grasp the stupidity of it - it's the same as setting the plat prices based on people's plat reserves:

"Oh, you bought more plat, eh? Let us adjust our prices accordingly based on the highest stockpiles and see how rich you will feel then" (as a result Forma start costing 500p because DE feels people have stockpiled way too much plat)

DE would have re-released the Founder's pack if they are as vile as many are making thme out to be.

Hema reqs ... Stupid decision, sure, but not evil

What DE want is a smooth as baby asses playtime/player count graph. Static progression bar is the easiest and straight method to do, with large amount of time needed for each bar players cannot just play 24hrs a day to rush it or they will :devil:die so the graph will rise as much as DE want and disperse smoothly across year.

There was a Diablo 3 player who died after playing it for 30 hours straight

    check yo facts

'Hours played' is not an engaging metric, as there's nothing players can do to influence the speed at which they attain it.

De could remove, in the future, the search requirements, but only keep the replication cost.

And replace it with doing certain tasks (riven-like) x number of times depending on the clan size.

  8. An idea popped up to me. Perhaps new weapons could use Riven-like challenge requirements.

For example, to unlock the Hema, for a Clan, 100 runs total, need to be done using an infested primary weapon with x headshots in one mission.

    Something like that.

obviously it's too late for a change, but if we're gonna share ideas, I might as well then. This thread is dying

No, you literally have to play for that amount of time to get new weapons.

Like X gun released, you will have a bar say "80hrs until unlock" so you need to play for that amount of time individually to get that gun.

This way all stockpiles can be kicked out of the game altogether.

Well that could be used in place of unlocking weapons instead of mastery rank, if we're talking about it at the individual level.

And do you mean 80 hours of a specific mission or node? because 80 hours would just be too easy (for a clan anyway)

Flight speed and potential other (better) buffs aside, don't forget that this is almost a fully ranked primed bane of grineer, which is pretty strong if you know how and when to use it. I'd still reroll it, because you can definitely get a better roll, that is maybe also suited for other factions.

correction: it's not as best as it can be, but I believe that's not enough flight speed, if i remember correctly, i've seen 130+ before.

And it does not have other beneficial stats. That grineer dmg is to specific.
