  1. I'm at max slots already and honestly having extra 20 would make it feel even better.

Some loadout modularity would be extra useful. What I mean by that is that you can first choose a loadout and then choose mod configs for all things within that loadout.
Say, I choose Wisp loadout and with an extra menu I am able to choose mod configs to quickly fine-tune my choice.

    It would look like this:

    Wisp Loadout:

    • Frame mod configs (named or not): Pillage | Eclipse | Nourish | Dispensary | Config E | Config F
    • Primary mod configs: Slash | Speed | Corrosive
    • Secondary mod configs: Primer | Hybrid | Dmg
    • Melee mod configs: Heavy | Combo | Config C | Config D
  2. I always say that PSF is a useless capacity eater, but nearly all most upvoted builds on overframe have it 😑

Also it's not only about time gated mods & weapons. Chasing the ever-growing milestones is just too much when you compare it on the grand scale. Let me just remind you guys that the current PC daily tribute is 2822, that is over 7 years and half. I didn't even reach half of that yet, but when I do I'll still be 1522 days behind, that is... just a bit over 4 years.

Do you get my point now? Newbies finding out that they'll have to play the game their next 1000 days (or at least log in) to get cool rewards just doesn't add up. I understand that someone might get offended "Because I've kept logging in since they introduced this feature". It just sounds like a handful of people screaming that Universal Medallions must not be used for Conclave standing.

  3. I've hit 1300 milestone today, but a friend of mine that I recruited quite recently is nearly at the 100th day. Also I think that the game is running for long enough to give the new blood some solid catch-up possibilities. For veterans (not sure if I am veteran enough) it shouldn't make a difference if newbies earn 2 or even 3 extra login rewards each weekend. I wouldn't mind it being each day.

Why would you ask? I'm not sure either, but most builds people share suggests using Primed Sure Footed for example. Though I find this mod completely useless, the new players who look up the builds on the internet (e.g. Overframe) will probably feel discouraged to find out that they must play the game for over a year in order to complete it.

Let's say that a hard cap for extra login rewards would be around 75-80% of the current highest milestone or whatever you would set it to. Just let them steadily catch up to us which might potentially make them stick around for longer.

Another way of catching up would be for them to choose if they want to bump their daily tribute up by a certain amount or simply receive the current reward. Also they might be presented with a short breakdown of rewards they might miss for the upcoming days if they choose the bump option.

  4. When I open the Task Manager to check what's going on during freeze time:

    • CPU usage - normal behaviour (kind of)
    • Memory usage - jumps from 672 MB to 2100 and sometimes over 3000 MB.
      • Funny thing is that the game is showing RAM usage at 2100 while in camp.

Yesterday I've had no problem playing. How I did it? I don't know if this helps but:

    1. I set the game to Full Screen in the launcher and launched it.
      1. Had to manually set my resolution back to the one fitting Full HD screen.
    2. Logged in with no problems, started moving around like crazy, opening and closing menus, navigations, etc. - still working.
    3. Went to ESO - still working, no crashes.
    4. Came back to camp - still working.
    5. Set my game back to borderless full screen - still working.
    6. Ran around 5 or more Circuits - to my surprise, still working

    Whole day without freezing.

Today I launched the game in borderless:

    1. Log in - fine.
    2. Navigation - freeze.
    3. So I set my game to full screen - nothing (yet).
    4. Starting Circuit - loaded into the cave.
    5. After I moved few steps, the game froze for 2 minutes, then I everything started working
      1. But I had a host migration.
      2. Alt + F4...

Lets try the "launch in full screen option"

    1. Lets now skip to freeze in cave - was the host so my squad probably felt a bit angry.
    2. After the game started working again some people joined me so I continued.
    3. Went inside the portal and to the first map.
    4. Jumped into operator - freeze.

    So the method doesn't work.

    Performing a full reinstall now.

  5. Hi.

Recently the game randomly freezes and sometimes I experience twice as long loading times.

I tried the following with no effect:

    1. Verify & Optimize download cache.
    2. Switch back to Classic graphics engine - noted double loading times and pretty much almost no difference between Classic / Enhanced graphics settings.
      1. There is no option to go back to DirectX 10 - the pinned post should be updated.
      2. Optionally tried the DirectX 12 out of curiosity - nope.

Where am I experiencing this? Everywhere, be it the Origin system or Duviri. Heck, even my own Camp and sometimes right after logging in. The game is basically unplayable for me anymore.

  6. Hi,

It's kinda bugging me that Octavia's "songs" can only be 16 measure in ~120 BPM, 8 measure in ~60 BPM and 32 measure songs in ~240 BPM. Well, 240 BPM sounds horrible though.

Lets break down the current music composition system:

    • Drums
      • Only 3 parts of a drum set, mostly:
        • Hi-hat
        • Snare drum
        • Bass drum
    • Bass
      • Only 5 "sounds"
      • Not even a complete basic octave
    • Melody
      • Only 5 "sounds'
      • Not even a complete basic octave

By current sample sets and length of the Octavia's music this becomes annoying even while I play Octavia myself for longer than 20/30 mins (e.g. Arbitration / Survival missions). The repetitiveness is driving other squad members nuts as well.

It would be great if some kind of MIDI box/controller could be implemented for that purpose. Lets say that a song can be made of 800 notes per instrument with maximum of 5 or 8 instruments per song. I understand that there might be some storage problems, but MIDI offers a great way of making it way more efficient, because it weighs less and the code (MIDI has hex values mostly) is simple.

My idea for changes in the skills is below:

    • While Octavia uses Metronome its icon will show everyone's screens with a circle growing less until it hits the icon and gives a pulse (can be just a pulsating icon). Why?
      • Some energy colours are not really visible while buff is active.
      • Doing certain actions to the melody instead of the rhythm is a complete nightmare (for me - drummer - it is more than a nightmare).
    • Percentile value of buff activation will depend on the song's BPM.
      • Max 240 BPM - I am aware that this will bring some hate upon her as no more crouch-spam songs could be made.
      • Min 60 BPM - 50% per beat.
    • Players could choose their own songs to play for them instead
    • Introduce song ranking system with player-based voting and staff picks
    • If two Octavias will join same team and none agrees to play other's song, the higher ranked song has the priority.
    • Copyright violation protection - ban/delete songs that could do so.
  7. Guys... Didn't I say that I wanted DE to provide me with the name of that program? If you haven't got the slightest idea, yes, I had checked his PC closely for such programmes. I have not found anything related to cheats. Seriously. Could it be, lets say a download manager like MegaSync or something like that? I am tired of looking for anything that can be considered a "cheat-tool-be-like" and being accused of using such things.

"We have detected a cheating programme on your device." was an answer I was provided with.

The only program that could be considered as such is A4Tech Bloody mouse driver. It allows to change the mouse to either single/double/triple click - no customizable macros involved. Furthermore no other macro programs found.

    While we are at macros.
Maybe it is my just my imagination or I see a lot of people with bullet jump and slide attack macros?
Are Razer Nostromo/Tartarus Chroma or R.A.T. 6 by MadCatz drivers considered a macros? True, it allows user to create such commands though, but it is still a driver. So taking that into account, people who use such hardware are to be banned as well?
Though I won both these devices at two different contests (yes it is possible sometimes) and I use them, because it is more comfortable for me to bind the desired keys just where I want them to be. Then, am I considered to be banned now? :P

    Surely will do.

Bringing up your brother's diabetes is sadly irrelevant. Most suspensions that might be caused by AFK reports surely don't last over a month, so if your brother was suspended for that long, I'm inclined to believe he's not giving you the full picture.

I see no reason for such a program either. False positives are remarkably low in Warframe, and most people who say they were falsely banned are hiding something or aren't giving the full picture.

Of course it is relevant in this case. Sadly I admit that you probably have no experience in regards to diabetes and diabetics whatsoever. Though he could be reported, I know, had same issues while I was playing TERA. Bad players and noobs who could not evade hits or didn't get the boss' attack patterns were reporting me for bad healing while keeping tank alive is a must. Furthermore, I had tried to get the name of the program, but the support did not provide me with it, yet you insinuate that he didn't give me the full picture. I was trying to ask him for anything that he could use and he was answering me no and no. I had already said about trojans and/or programmes that might install with some other software and run in the background. Apologies for such long post, but you probably didn't pay attention to such details in it. I still think such thing is highly needed.

  9. Hi Devs!

Would it be possible to create such utility as mentioned in the topic?

Why? Let me break it down:

While the end user is playing the game some kind of cheat scan is running along with it. When it detects a threat the account is banned straight away. Though the end user may not use or may not know that he or she has a program which could be installed along with another one or simply a virus (I think I don't need to explain the nature of trojans for example).

It didn't happen to me, but my brother who is definitely not using any kind of cheats had his game crashed while playing Hydron with Ember. Though he is under age (playing under my agreement) there is one thing that makes me wonder. Was anything detected on his device or he simply was reported by another player? He is insuline-dependent diabetic and why am I saying that? Maybe you have encountered some people with that disease, the case is that while they drink a lot of liquids (he does) they use the toilet more often. So while he went AFK (already explained why) he left his Ember with World on Fire ability active and that may triggered one of the players to report him. After over a month his account was recovered - name of that program was not provided, why? Don't know.

    Never mind now...

I will now use another game as an example - Lineage 2.
Once it became F2P (Free2Play) with a new server opening in Europe by Innova, an anti-bot and anti-cheat PunkBuster-like program started before the actual game could be launched. As I remember it was called Frost. Its nature was simple - scanning before the game could launch and during the game.

To be honest with you, a policy of preventing from cheating than actually catching the real cheaters can piss off lots of players. There are tons of players who buy platinum, Prime Accesses and many more. Now imagine that you bought all Prime Accesses until now and your game crashes during a mission. You try to log back in: "Due to violation of End-User Licence Agreement your account was suspended until 10 February 2035". Driven by rage (or not) you create a ticket. Finally you get your account back, but you would like to prevent such things to happen in the future, you ask for a program that caused a suspension. A reply looks like that: "We have detected a cheating programme on your device. This is your LAST chance and if that will happen again there WILL BE NO exception." The name of the program was not provided of course. Why is it like that? Some people are "pumping" a ton of money to help you develop the game and you treat them like that? Even though you will block their access to the forum, maybe to prevent their feedback there are lots of other portals, Reddit for example.

If that is possible please "inject" something like that into this game or at least provide the names of harmful programs in the tickets. Suspending an account of someone who is or who want to play this game fair and square is simply not right.

Thanks a lot for your time spent reading this!

    Best Regards
