Some of the skin for pets in the game such as venari, the helminth metus skin, the maculatia kavat skin, and some of the prime companion skins etc. have very non organic looking structures to their bodies. The regular pet color pallets work well on fur and flesh, but when we have these more metalic skins it would be nice to be able to make them match our warframe. Even if it was a separate cosmetic adapter like what we need to put on our operators to change their skin color to more unnatural hues, just the option would be so nice. Maybe this isn't that big of a deal to most people, but it just really messes with my head that I cant match the special skin I have for my pet to my warframe. A good example of this is kaiths, which have very similar textures to some of these pet skin. We are able to make those match our warframes so why not our companions?
