Well, I believe they are working on Damage 2.5/3.0 now. Hopefully they take this into account.

Are they? Last time i checked they said that damage 2.5 isn't gonna happen and they said IF they're gonna rework damage theyre gonna make it a whole new thing.

(Dang just saw the 3.0 in your comment)

  2. Okay why should it be mr20 players and above? An mr16 isn't much different to an mr20, just means the mr20 has spent more time levelling stuff up. If it was mr 13 and above that would be fine in my opinion since mr13 is kind of a milestone for players since it grants access to more exclusive stuff

I’ve heard that we are getting the onslaught update and the plague star update in one go from last primetime. I didnt hear about it being in cert on friday though, did they say it in twitter, or what source? Just curious and thanks for the info, been waiting for plague star for so long :(

If you look at the devstream roundup on the warframe website you'll see at the very bottom they're planning to send the update to cert by may 4th

It would be the repeat of Plague Star, but keep in mind as we PC folk found, Hemocyst took his vitamins since last time. Ember, Nightwatch Napalm and Gara damage overtime effects will not instant kill its heads now; its higher level with all the armor, life, and toxin damage that entails; and is still immune to all status. Having a team of Corrosive Projection aura seems to still help while Sundering Dash might be worth it if you don't. Fast weapons with decent damage and critical potential are solid for dealing with his low damage cap on hits. 3000 points for the full run so make sure to make use of Nakak's offerings after working up those Hemocyst droppings to craft dojo Statues.

this guy has it covered, i would use titania for it all but i can't go on wf due to irl stuff

  5. I think for endgame rewards it's limited time weapon parts or something, like DE introduce a new weapon. They could continuously bring out special variants. For instance, they bring out Buzlok wraith and the parts can only be acquired through a game mode for vets. My counter argument to "oh but i couldnt get that weapon because i didnt play warframe when it was out" or "oh i didnt have good enough gear to get it" is that after an amount of time it gets "unvaulted" so that more people can get it. So it's kind of like prime parts. I know this will sound like a bad idea to some but i would like this concept

  6. I remember making a post on the forums about how to raise platinum, now i'm sitting on over 3.5k without spending a penny, how times have changed. Farm prime stuff and sell it, however it's easier said than done. Farm for sought after stuff, like nekros neuro , systems and bp. However you must hold onto nekros sets because his price will skyrocket after he gets vaulted. If you're looking to make 15-20p farm Axi v6 relics and make them radiant, and then do rad runs. Valkyr chassis is a popular seller

I remembered your post and thought I should give you a status update

I have Nova. Indeed it was easy, as with most thing warframe if you want to understand what the hell is going on you have to do it solo but when you do understand then public queue is fine. there is always someone that will be higher MR and thus have better weapons and you can get carried. The raptors were not buggy when I got to them, however doing it solo I had to learn the hard way that X does not drop the bomb down the hole it was a source of much frustration and then I went to Wiki.

Octavia I bought. I watched a review on the manchachord and as a bit of a part time musician I just thought it was excellent, what I have found most interesting is making music that allow people to spam whilst sounding like music rather than noise

Ivara has been impossible to get I don't so the spy mission much and I have not done many vaults cleanly so I kind of think I am going to famr them once I get through the star chart.

I hate Archwing with a passion for two reasons. Trying to get Limbo is impossible since no one really want to farm him and thus you often end up doing it alone interception alone without archwing is hard (you need to load spectre and the like and frost is my best friend. So I in the end I gave up and bought Limbo for plat. I know it really sucked but I just could not find public queue matches. Interception is the one thing I always play public So I reckon get Atlas may fall in the limbo category

I am at Uranus and about to try the Natah Quest so Nidus,Trinity,Saryn, Mesa, Ash and Chroma are to come but as for Equinox it took me just 19 attempts to get everything I was so shocked I actually help someone else get parts if you do it speed run style it takes about 5 minutes per run I am normally rather slow at the old parkour so the other are normally waiting for me. I was done in a couple of hours It took me longer to get the Rhino parts.

My basic complaint still is essentially two things the map and way points make for a lot of confusion, In some of the mission (spying specially) you are relying on someone in your team that know what they are doing and you can be carried through the whole game not being able to do anything

In the main this is the first game I have played where I have the wiki open on my tablet and I consult it while I am playing the game I am not sure that is good or bad but it definitely is different.

I start my new job away from home and my computer tomorrow so I will only be playing at the weekends so know what to grind and how to grind efficiently is something that I am learning to do

I remember farming for ivara, her chassis was the biggest pain ever. However, i can ensure you that in my opinion she is the most rewarding farm ever, because she's THE stealth frame and one you'd take if you were to do long survival runs. My opinion tho

just for fun gameplay, nothing more,

sometimes I go play full stealth with my favourite warframe (volt) and weapons in a solo spy mission and it takes like 1 hour to complete, learn to have fun with the game and stop looking for useful ways to make wealth, the pure existence of games is to have fun and feeling a meta superpower ^.^ :P

There already is a meta in warframe tho? Atterax+Blood rush+ Body count+ Maiming strike Mk-1 Bo

  9. The main thing that stands out for me is the elemental damage you have; blast. I'd suggest gas (use scattering inferno and contagious spreadl) , if possible. I would swap out accelerated blast for hunter munitions

    1. So for farming affinity, you want to do it in a group, even if it's with random people. You gain affinity bonuses from their kills, so doing it alone is a lot slower. I will 10/10 recommend akkad instead of hydron for many reasons. 1. Infested are easier to kill since they are melee only 2. akkad is a very small map so your always in the range of your teammates affinity bonus range. 3. the defense target has so much health you never fail the mission. 4. akkad is a dark sector, so you automatically gain 18% bonus affinity for all kills and 23% bonus affinity for melee kills. goes way faster than hydron imo.

    2. for mining specifically, when you're wandering around, instead of having your weapons equipped, have your lazer mining tool equipped. when you're within 40m of a mining spot, it will start beeping. when you point the camera in the direction of the mining spot, it starts beeping a lot faster. it also tells you on the side of the screen how many meters you have until you get to the spot. this makes all the difference in the world, have it equipped at all times. also, go around to all of the caves when mining, because there are a few caves they have a crap ton of gems. for standing i think you just have to keep doing bounties.

    3. Well I'm not sure, it depends on how good your builds are to solo all three. you are right in that soloing terry gerry and harry is very hard. I'm on ps4, but i usually don't having any issues going to recruiting, finding a group and running all three. there have only been a few times where people didn't know what they were doing and we didn't make it in time, but I'll say 80% of the time I don't have any issues. I'm MR19 and I don't think I could solo all three and I have all frames and pretty much all mods with min/max builds and rivens, really just depends on how good you are and I'm not very skilled. I can solo the first and maybe the second but probably not the third, but that shouldn't discourage you from trying cause you may surprise yourself. give it a try!

    4. Yeah I wouldn't do vault runs alone. I only do vault runs when all four people have the key. you can find people in recruiting really easily just say hosting vault runs, use chat to organize which people have which keys and run orokin capture missisons. capture the target and now you have infinite time to find the vault. that's the easiest and quickest way

    5. To answer your question, the only way to gain focus from "collectibles" is from brilliant eidolon shards, which can be converted into 25,000 focus each (and I don't remember if regular eidolon shards can be converted into focus, but it is less than the brilliant). You get brilliant eidolon shards from capturing the teralysts. For focus farming, there is more than one way to do it, but the way i do it is with equinox. you don't need any of equinox's augments either. you just need max range build with some duration and efficiency, then go to the exterminate mission on sedna and sleep everybody and kill them while asleep. make sure you always stay undetected though, because you will earn a "stealth kill affinity booster" which boosts gained affinity by 500%. http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Affinity. Keep this up the whole time and without a booster I get about 20,000 per run. If I have an affinity booster I get about 40,000 focus per run.

Also, console will be getting sanctuary onslaught in about 2 weeks. I don't know how much focus you get from running until zone 8 but convergence orbs spawn at the beginning of every zone, and you get a boost to how much focus you get from the orb every new zone that stacks up to 16x affinity bonus as you go through the zones. this could be a new way of farming focus when it comes.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hopefully we get Sanctuary Onslaught in two weeks, are they bringing it with plague star? Knowing DE they'd release Plague star like 3 weeks from now and SO in 2 months lol

That is actually a great idea. Helping Noobs is always good

I suppose i could help out all those people in tc who need plastids, or need help in the lua challenge rooms etc. Thanks

  12. Completed all the quests,  can solo sorties, made a hefty amount of platinum from TC.  Hell, I even dipped my toe into conclave.  I have all I need, and there's nothing in warframe that appeals to me anymore. A break from it seems imminent but I'm worried that if I go away for too long I'll miss out on new content as soon as it arrives.  Too short a break and I don't think I'd be satisfied. Any suggestions?

  13. Just start with two feet.  There is no other way imo. If you have a friend that's further into the game than you try and get them to help you when you need it but don't rely on them too much,  the best enjoyment you can get is the enjoyment you find yourself if that makes sense
