It's essential QoL for most people who use vacuum.

Lack of a proper UV is a detriment to the whole companion system no matter your preferences.

This seems to be coming from someone who doesn't value the ability to manage pickups themselves as well as someone who does not use a well-built kavat (kubrows need a buff, no real way around it) so does not value them. A major issue with the fact that we have univac at ALL (even 3m) is highly annoying for people/playstyles that heavily emphasize managing your drops to make the most of them. Vacuum takes away this ability, and even the current 3m one is detrimental to many players.

    So what is Blackout?

Blackout is a special mission type in which a team of four goes into a highly secured area of either the corpus or the grineer (not the infested for thematic reasons), These highly secured areas are where the most well trained soldiers reside (minimum level for the mission would be 80). Your team doesn't know what they have to do before they get there as scans are not yielding any results, once in the secured area your team will need to complete multiple tasks as it is very rare to gain access to these areas.

Every mission would start with having to hack a special console somewhere in the map, once hacked the entire map becomes available to view and your first task will be assigned. There would be 3-4 tasks required with the fourth being an optional exterminate for bonus rewards. The other missions would be as follows, defending an area for a certain amount of time/rescuing a hostage (which would need to be protected for the rest of the match)/breaching vaults (like a spy mission)/sabotaging an important component to the area.

Wow that sounds difficult, how would we complete a blackout mission?

The best way to complete a blackout mission would be to organize your team prior to the engagement, you would most likely want to bring a support play style along with a crow control play style, there are so many possibilities within warframe.

What does a blackout mission provide for me, why should I play it?

Blackout missions would be for the most elite of the elite tenno, the players that have little to no difficulty completing other activities in Warframe. These missions would allow for a different type of play style to the common Warframe run and gun techniques, which would be to stick as a group and make sure you revive your fallen allies.

It would be irrelevant to mention any rewards specifically as this is simply a suggestion only that for such a difficult mission only the highest of reward tiers should drop from this.

Let me know what ya'll think, I could potentially see this type of mission replace trials since blackout missions would be focused primarily on teamwork and team play. (If there is anything i have missed in this presentation of my mission idea please let me know so i can clarify/ add it)

I like the concept, but I'm gonna play Devil's advocate for a second. What's to stop player's from finding ways to cheese this as we have other content?

Also, as far as variety goes, I might actually suggest more varied tasks to include. Maybe have the hostage play a role in hacking a console to an area, maybe they have to hack a terminal for data. Maybe force the team to split up for different parts of the mission to complete dual objectives (say, half of them distract guards while the other half infiltrates a vault or prison). I guess, what would you do to make this mission stand out tactically from sorties and other current content in the game, so that it's not going to turn into people going through the motions for rewards.

While I know Defection wasn't the most popular mission, I do think they forced players to split up and think as a tactical unit rather than mindless killing machines in order to achieve the goal, and if this were implemented in the game, that's what I would like to see from this. I don't want this to be me going in and killing everything mindlessly; I want it to make the players step back and analyze how they go about completing the objectives, so that there is no one "solution" to cheese it (that's me being optimistic of course lol).

  3. While I love the skin personally, I think it will be quite a while before we get to round 2 of deluxe skins, and I don't see them removing the current skin from the game. That being said, if it could be worked out so we could have this as the second deluxe skin, I'd be very happy.

The biggest problem with a conceptual universal vacuum is that most people seem to prefer Pets over Sentinels, or they would if Vacuum wasn't a factor. If you don't particularly value a ranged-damage companion then it's pretty easy to see why; a random knockdown or mild cc is easily beaten by red crits, armour stripping, resource boosting and more. That, and Pets have more longevity due to their revive function. If vacuum were made universal, Sentinels would need to get some sort of buff to stay on the same level as Pets. IMO, that is the thing that needs to be figured out amongst the community.

This is the issue that has been mentioned before. Universal vacuum is mostly wanted so people can use pets and vacuum, which would render sentinels in their current iteration almost completely untouched (except niche uses of Carrier and Helios most likely). Granted, I think your third idea (Make it possible to equip Sentinel+Pet) is something most people haven't considered. However, I do think it might present a little bit of a balance issue to get both.

no. The stagger affect from impact is a huge pain to deal with for most of the community as high impact damage and high status weapons are disliked for their reason of making you need to shift your aim slightly back when aiming for the head. So complete removal of stagger would be nice as it wouldn't disrupt accuracy.

If the stagger opened for finishers though... or even stealth multipliers... I'd say those are potential gains. Granted, no idea where DE is going with the changes rn, so maybe it will get removed for something better.

The argument is about real world physics. In Warframe there are 2 sets of physics, 1 for players, and a superior set for Game Characters. How many times have you seen Enemies lift themself over a fense that's not there, put down a Blut in 1 second, while Tenno are locked unprotected for 3 seconds pressing "Life-support", or flesh & blood Bombards shoot themselves in the foot, but take no damage, or survival mission locations decide wether a 100% stasis weapons returns health, or when it wants to give it to you?

if you wanna add enemy self damage, be my guest, although I doubt it'll do much against the scaling armor levels that comes in an endless mission

  7. Isn't buffing almost 100 weapons a good thing though? Kuva missions as primary gameplay? Operators replacing warframes? Mandatory fishing and mining? Raids removed? Those are a lot of absolute statements.

Kuva is really only good for Rivens and a few blueprints. Operator abilities are meant to augment warframes, not replace them. Fishing and mining... yeah no you can ignore it if you want. And the raids are being temporarily shut down until they can properly revisit them to improve them. I think you're blowing these changes out of proportion in all honesty.

PS: there is a community guideline regarding profanity

  8. Yall are still on this? The accessories are exclusives. Either you paid $50 at the time of PA for accessories ONLY (plus boosters, but that's not what you all are complaining about), or you pay $40 during Vaults and get plat and the whole Prime Access shebang... What I'm hearing is "I don't want discounted accessories if it comes with stuff I don't want, I should get an even BIGGER discount."

Go back to your cave, trollman.

DE sells digital goods, not a limited stock.

If they want to sell for the same prices, it'd just be accessories, coupled with plat or boosters to make the rest of the price.

Stop grasping at straws. You are not in the right here.

It's not grasping at straws, it's basic economics... and clearly waiting is cheaper than buying initially. Screaming for more discounts on top of that is just screaming to be spoiled...

Not the company. The mentality of said companies community is what I’m comparing. For now anyway.

If you wanted DE to take a Bungie mentality, then they'd off the PV accessories at the original price of when they came with PA ($50) as opposed to getting everything in a PV bundle ($40). It doesn't take a genius to see how ridiculously discounted it is.

  11. 1 minute ago, Kiwinille said:

And you realize it costs more on PA because they're brand new items that you have to pay extra more to have instant access without having to farm when they get released?

Did you conveniently ignore the part about it being cheaper than the accessories were alone (which you couldn't farm) and that it includes essentially the entire PA? Or did you just not read that far?

  12. 2 minutes ago, Kiwinille said:

So you're looking to buy an oven, but they won't sell the oven without a frigde, which you already have and don't even have space in your kitchen to place another (this is a reference to getting doubles on items you can't give another different use when you already own them), but you'd spend more money than you have to, just because both together are overall cheaper than buying BOTH separatedly, so you're throwing money away for nothing, just becuase you're driven by a "discount price tag".

I think the missed the point... PV packs come with all the accessories of a PA accessories pack at a lower cost, with all the prime gear from the PA, and plat. Worst case scenario, the extra frames/weapons/sentinels are free slots, and you still come out on top than if you had bought PA accessories originally.

Sounds like one of those typical Bungie responses after a Destiny 2 controversy to me. Actions speak louder then words. This same matter has come up after pretty much -every- unvaulting, every single time the feedback is the same: Give us an accessory pack. And every time nothing is done with it.

Clearly you haven't paid much attention to the differences between Bungie and DE.

As for the rest of the complaints, you guys realize PV packs are basically the PA packs at ~ 1/3 the cost? AND on top of that, the full PV packs are CHEAPER than the initial accessories pack. AND You get plat (granted consoles get more plat with a Prime Accessories pack, but PC gets none whatsoever). So yeah, you guys are kind being entitled rn.

I am aware that syndicate packs are an option but you can get so many on 1 day. They are limited based on everyone's evolution in the game.

My statement regarding PoE might seem broad but that doesn't make it untrue. I'm not the only one complaining.

You can't verify if your statement is true. DE can. And if you counted the amount of people complaining and compared it to the population of the player base, I think you'd find that you're in the vast minority.

If you are having issues loading into PoE, you can always leave bug reports or file a support ticket. Moving the relics really isn't the best solution though, considering bounty drop tables are so slim that is is ideal the keep them there for farming purposes.

PS: if you have the gear you can always try going solo, that way you don't have to worry about leeches or poor host connections
