"Jingle Bells Batman Smells new lyrics" by By Steve Wilson

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zrFkkIjw74

First time I do this but HERE WE GO!

    Jingle Bells Alad Smells

In Sol you can hear the sound of Christmas cheer, But Alad's found no friends around, no one will come near. Everybody knows he doesn't wash his clothes, With smelly socks and infested jocks, Alad's on the nose.

CHORUS Oh, Jingle Bells, Alad Smells, Vey Hek flew away, The Grinner lost a Queen and the Vor got away, hey. Jingle Bells, Alad Smells, Vey Hek flew away, Zanuka lost a leg, oh Happy Christmas Day.

Alad says "Let's go." Zanuka says "No, no." "If you don't wash your socks by gosh they're gonna start to grow" It's no dynamic deal, your bouquet lacks appeal, I can't abide the smell inside your yuletide Infested ship.

"Dashing through the night in three legged 'Zanuka-trike'. Alad looks for Tenno crooks, the smell will win the fight. Sargas Ruk he then spies, takes him by surprise, Zap! Kapow! with BO now the Sargas chokes and dies.

Baro Ki Teer in a trice arrives with good advice, "For Christmas Alad from this lean man, a gallon of Kiteer Spice." Darvo gives a scream, "My nose is turning green. Can someone try to teach this guy some personal hygiene."

Alad sees no hope, Dynamic Duo broke, But back at cave the day is saved, there's Baro Ki Teer with the soap. Zanuka's got the hose, Baro peg on nose. They scrub hero from head to toe, he's smelling like a rose.

Hel us support those with Leukemia.

This September we're introducing an item to the Warframe community that tells a story.

A wearable orange ribbon - signifying Leukemia awareness month - will be given to all players with the option to equip it and show support in game.

    Why?

Cancer is a devastating disease - even more-so when support is unavailable to those suffering. At Digital Extremes we've committed to learning everything we can about helping those with Leukemia as it is a cancer that has hit very close to home.

This month we're asking you to show your support and spread awareness about helping organizations support those with Leukemia. Wearing this ribbon will do just that.
If you're able, we're also setting up a DE team for the Light The Night Walk on October 14 in our hometown of London Ontario. As a company we are matching any donations made to our team.

Tenno, we ask you to consider supporting one of our own however you can. Your Harmony Ribbon is waiting for the month of September in-game and will be removed when September ends. All you have to do is log in starting September 1st at 11 a.m ET.

It needs to freaking happen I mean im one of the 1st founders on Steam and its eating me up inside that at the time i didnt have the one and now that I do I cant bring my stuff I spent years and money to get! Why cant we just do the same as the steam item registry we have and just have our items and save from pc stream over?

It would be a lot easier even with no cross platform

And to prove it here is my PC Final form!
    Sigh...

  4. Taco here has a point. Typhus does not belong in warframe. For DE to even put this in the game, they would have to make a whole dark, twisted and evil side of warframe. And yes, there are Warframes like Sayrn, Mirage, Hydroid and Nekros, but to have a warframe like this, it just doesn't fit. You say you want a reason why, yet, i still don't see, in any way, how you are supporting why Typhus SHOULD be in warframe. I close my statement.

    Um... WHAT!?

How do you close a statement without event offering evidence as to why not?

On further note you clearly have not seen the Primetime 35 livestream with Steven Sinclair.

Even he says he wants to play as typhus and he fits perfectly into the game now.

Im sorry good sir but that is straight out of the horse's mouth.

Now that is how you close a statement!

Now please. Be kind and tell us why you really don't want him in warframe and as for gore have you looked at Valkyr's spine?

    This is honestly silly...

  5. Take A look at this then tell me why you think he will be to gory for an M rated game with Gore as one of the tags.

    https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/176524-warframe-concept-typhus-parasiteviral-samurai-type-update-07052014/?p=2629923

and also tell me why you seem to be saying He cant blend the two concepts and why it sounds like you are saying he didnt blend them well enough?

this is a largly asked question about the gore so if you are going to say somthing about it. plz skim through the thread a little bit before you ask a REALLY old question/statement.

    too gory for warframe?

    Um...

Then explain how we have a video of Alav V dismembering a warframe and the body shows the gore inside the limbs and lets not forget ALL OF THE INFESTED ENEMIES INCLUDING LEPHANTIS WITH A SHRIEKING WOMAN'S FACE UNDER HIS HEAD.

Well, I appreciate the concern but why do we have a pirate hybrid with the theme of Water? Yes, they are known to be on the sea, but when did they use water powers? Secondly, Warframe is rated M for Blood, Gore and Violence.

Some of the ablities that Typhus uses are focused on the blood part of that. And really Typhus wouldn't necessarily raise the gore level as much as he would remain consistent with what's in the game already, I mean we can already disembowel a man and send viscera everywhere pretty hard to top that. As for the Samurai/parasite duality, I can understand your position and I appreciate the constructive criticism, but the o-yoroi armor that Samurai traditionally wore were constructed out of Lamellar plates to look like the Chitin on insects. Specifically the Kabuto helmet was taken from beetles. So it was with that in mind that I added it to the parasite concept.

To my knowledge and love of armors all I can see is that yes you are correct on the samurai armor but damn...

  6. I have nothing against it, but it is quite different in the heavy shift towards biological features. There is also the mouth part and energy originating directly from inside the "person" inside it and not the suit. I don't want to go saying too "magicy" as some other frames fall to as it's better than that, but the focus is entirely different. And for me bordering on what I (me, myself, imho) believe to be likely in terms of style, and plausible in terms of lore and "where Tenno power originates from".

Also if there was one of them, ok fine. Two? Possibly. 1000? Recreating that mutation as it is very much a personal and difined one is just a harder feat than slapping on something that is technological - external rather than internal. I am again not against it - but I might need more convincing.

Well yes that is a point because that frame is biological because he is a parasite themed warframe.

Did you realize that the armors themselves are made from the technocite virus and are actually a mix of biological and tecnological components.
There are frames with more tech or more biological aspects like our prime examples; Syren and Vouban.
Legit canon from warframe clearly states how excalibur was born from the void and created from the technocite.
when you fight lephantis he clearly asks '"why hurt us we are of the same flesh"
further dictating that the frames are made from the same technocite virus

If you played Dark sector which is a prequal of this game; Hayden Tenno is infected as well as fused with the technocite virus making his body change, infest, turn metalic and grant him use of the same powers the warframes use and yes Warframe has lack of lore but makes up for it in details and bios from the previus game.

Little note did you notice that Typhus was featured on prime time twice?
He was called Locust at the time.

If you ask me as some one who follows the lore since dark sector.

I think he followed the lore to the dot.

Now if you dont like it just humbly say so dont just say it does not match the lore.

    Please...

  7. His ultimate is too similar to one of the powers from prototype. but really great job

    Look everything is already done.

What this means is all original ideas are inspired by something that came before and as for prototype, it took heavy inspiration from Gantz, Akira and guiver.

It was not really that original if you watch both youll see. Not just that but as I look into it Typhus is using tendrils not fleshy spikes and spraying blood.

Another good example is Dark Souls and Dragons dogma were inspired by Berzerk

  8. The design seems very, i don't now... refined, even dignified? certainly not what I'd expect of an insane murderous leeching frame. I'd like to see ragged clothing and insect limbs, a disturbed and desperate look rather than a knight in a coat. That's just my opinion though the artwork however is far above my skill level hahaha

It does look a little knightly indeed but too refined?

All insects have a refined design to their body and the devs have already stated no physical cloths on warframe designs it's an exo suit plus looks are always deceiving I mean come on mag looks friendly until she crushes your bones.

As to the insect appendages, you should check out canibalize armor son.

  9. I like it but the common theme other than vauban is to have skin tight suits. The armor doesnt fit imo and especially not the flesh mutating infested version of a tenno

    What?

You clearly have not looked at Rhino, Trinity, Volt, and most of all if not, especialy Frost.

Have you ever played Dark Sector by any chance? The game set before Warframe?

Look at how the technocite aka infestation affected humans 1st making their flesh turn gory and then to steel.

Remember the Devs also mentioned that Yes they are wearing exosuits but they are all uniquely designed and are known to be changeable depending on the Tenno's specialization in his mutation.

The Technocite turns your body into armor heck look at naked nick his body looks changed too. (guy in cryotubes)

If you have not noticed he is based off an insect what you see is bone coming out of his body to act like a chitin exoskeleton.

Each warframe has a unique look and feel to them so I am suprised by your reaction to this honestly.

I as well as many others have looked into the art style and it actually fits in and hey, the Devs love it and it was shown off on prime time.

[in case no one knows] *Volt pulls out a laser pointer and reads*

An exoskeleton, is the external skeleton that supports and protects an animal's body, in contrast to the internal skeleton (endoskeleton) of, for example, a human. In popular usage, some of the larger kinds of exoskeletons are known as "shells". Examples of exoskeleton animals include insects such as grasshoppers and cockroaches, and crustaceans such as crabs and lobsters. The shells of the various groups of shelled mollusks, including those of snails, clams, tusk shells, chitons and nautilus, are also exoskeletons.

Some animals, such as the tortoise, have both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton.

Exoskeletons contain rigid and resistant components that fulfil a set of functional roles including protection, excretion, sensing, support, feeding and acting as a barrier against desiccation in terrestrial organisms. Exoskeletons have a role in defense from pests and predators, support, and in providing an attachment framework for musculature.

Exoskeletons contain chitin; the addition of calcium carbonate that makes them harder and stronger

Ingrowths of the arthropod exoskeleton known as apodemes serve as attachment sites for muscles. These structures are composed of chitin, and are approximately 6 times as strong and twice as stiff as vertebrate tendons. Similar to tendons, apodemes can stretch to store elastic energy for jumping, notably in locusts.
  10. Well here's a new one for you!

    Flustered Rhino Maid is flustered.

I'll admit I got a lazy with the first panel's background, mostly because I'd spent WAY too much time on this and I just wanted it done. Its from the original warframe concept art: https://damrte0h9s7q0.cloudfront.net/sites/default/files/styles/original/public/ConceptGrineerInteriors.jpg

Also just gonna put this here from my other thread, not gonna bother updating the both of them.
