Lets suggest something normal.
Knowing how to use a gun, means you will have enough basic knowledge to use most any Gun of the same style/type. yes there are differences, but as a group, a bolt action rifle of most any caliber has the same features. Give a person <1 hour and they can deal with that gun as if they had any from before.
This goes for 90% of all weapons. Most have standard features that should be easy to acknowledge from previous Use of other like weapons. There should not be much of a learning Curve.
With that said. It would be real nice if rivens would give you a Choice of weapon to place it on. At least a selection of 4 in a group.

Let me suggest.
I jumped N/S and W/E and found that its about 2500m x 2700m. As the Bird flies.
Using 500m jumps with the scanner and abit of math, abit rough but should be close to the Surface size.
But if you want to walk it, over hill and dale, it IS larger.

Mate it's a free to play game with the most fair systems in place of any free-2-play game, heck it's even fairer then the AAA multiplayer games that come out these days.
Are they perfect? No. Do they drop the ball on occasion? Yep. Do they promise something and then latter on have to adjust expections because they can't deliver? Has happened.
You like WOW more? Fine. Go play it and de-install Warframe.
Do keep in mind that any online game you play for several hunderds of hours will entail a grind, doing the same things over and over again. No matter if it's COD, WOW, Fall out or GTA. Rinse, repeat, and doing the same things over and over and over again. If you don't have fun with it, then it's not your kind of game and you move on. Whining about that it isn't something that it isn't intended to be is as silly as playing a racing game and then complaining that all you do is drive around in cars.
I would love the game to last.
I can see whats not working FOR THEM..

World of warcraft. cost money and they keep updating and changing..They add to the whole. NOT complicate.
They keep having good ideas, in the game, but cant figure out how to monetize it to keep abit of money flowing. Every game wants/needs abit of cash flow even for the server. The biggest hings is patterns. The next if if you added something, that works, Keep it, even if you rotate on a good time frame. Most of these games make you EARN something, by doing certain things...not OVer and over 100 times. to get things. Its leveling, going mining, going to Dungeons. NOt adding things and more things to keep balancing, because REALLY, there isnt a balance in allot of it.
The customers will always find a hole and find the best of the best, the weirdest of the strange that works. Nerfing and augmenting is Just a PAIN to do.. Create a device and Update it alittle, and leave it. If its a mistake(up to you) kill it. Wondering around and trying to FIX, and thinking you messed up, generally means you didnt think we would find a way to MAKE something work, and you may have, made things so complicated for yourself, that it HURTS you by taking time to FIX it or balance things again and again.
MAke the game, dont worry about the consumer, Then think about a few adjustments. The more complicated you make it for yourself, the worse its going to get.
remember that the frames have returned to help...WHO? And HOW. They arnt made of money, and WORK is not what they were designed for. The Tenno, have a life(maybe) but the frames not as much. They have uses, they can be used. but if they required money, why would they NOT be soldier for hire.
You can even make this a timed mission. The WHOLE game can be timed to accomplish the impossible(you have a few setups like this, already), when its accomplished or NOT, the whole thing can start over.
You just started a new Lvl 100. but what is that for the frame? MR10??5?12??14? A level is only a suggestion of the battles to be waged. Its to know if you have a poor/fair/good/great chance to beat the mission. When a MR5 can finish most of the system, it seems the enemy isnt working hard enough. The weapons and armour should be close tot he same, in each level, And there could be counters to something, but also counters to those. Its a continuous battle, of back and forth. Go look at the history of tanks on World of tanks, and how silly it gets. 1/2 of thoise tanks never got past paper, and some never left the tables.. Many of the tanks are the SAME, but they added mods, changes, adapted them to many uses. The USA went to the WWII EU, with cannons at 57mm and could hardly penetrate much of anything..that did have MORE tanks.(reasons)..
Match maker kinda sucks, as it dont gather EQUAL MR, or even close to the same. And if someone goes straight to open territory in Venus/earth, is funny...as we just jumped in with a group with a mission..not a group fishing/hunting/mining/... you also need a selection n earth to go after the Eidolon, and not have RANSOMS jump in that wanted to go mining...Same on Venus, we are mining/fishing hunting, and a few jump in to do a mission/or run around to kill things, and an alarm 4 happens and its a PAIN to do anything except join the battle..

If DE produced a game where people can finish playing and completing its entire contents in a week or a month, they will be in trouble because of the shortage of content. They have to work themselves to death or end the business. Fast game is not the solution.
I would like to know how you would propose to slow down the gaming process. Like, how you would have done it differently.

Garuda still has the Key lock problem unless you want to Jump off a cliff to reset it.. Last post I saw was 2018..
IMO, I see more graphics then I see program repair/get past ALPHA programming. Add this and that, some menu's are not the same as others.. On Earth you win a mission and BIG SIGN infront, blocks view while enemy is still shooting you..
Next thing you know, you will tell me Star Citizen is DONE and SOLID and works on a 5 year old machine.
71 frames And Until recently, I was falling threw the map.. 10 frames per year. lets add more frames.
Yes they work hard. And a Client side networking is abit rough. When someone leaves the match it restarts the numbers of kills and such..strange. if 4 are in game 2 leave and the last 2 end the match, you get numbers for those 2..
Would really like to Adjust the flash light, Works irregularly, its to Bright most times and blinds you with reflection. many times it wont light up an area I would like to see..

That part of the problem, with the game, they want to slow persons down, and use Things to slow them down or halt them.
But its not working the way they think. When you have to resort to a 0.01 chance to get 1 special part.. its going badly.
I have 11 forma, and it will take 11 days to have them finished.. They need more to the game, and they are having a hard time figuring out what and how to do it.
This seems like a bunch of artists trying to make a great game, but having learned Game theory.

dude either play the game 5+ hrs a day or spend money on it. those are your only two options if you want stuff quick. if not then just be happy being a pleb. loads of people that play the game have chosen one of those things (almost everyone)
There is a 3rd, and many have already done it.. QUIT. because after you run a map 1000 times ITS BORING...After trying to get that 1 relic you want for the 50th run, or more... you get to upset to try again. we DONT earn things here. Not even leveling, we have to pay for everything, including Making friends...And if we are not friends certain groups send assassins after us.
And Iv been doing 8+ hour per day for the last few months...so Go figure the math.

Him not having patience, wanting everything NOW.
He doesn't understand the game, he doesn't want to spend time working up to something but he wants everything on a platter handed to him.
Been playing since Beta and only have 1k hours?
A big thing in the game is the need to work yourself or materials up to something. Having the satisfaction of seeing your grind pay off in getting the weapon, warframe, etc or getting a riven rolled in a manner that someone is willing to pay a few hundred or more. Along the way you have to make choices because you can't persue all at the same time.
E.G.: I didn't max out on 3 syndicates at the same time but doing a couple and then much latter added a 3rd. I didn't sell prime parts for plat or ducats unless I already had the prime weapon or warframe. So what if that meant I couldn't get that thing from Baro this time... he'll be back and at some point he'll bring the item back that I want.
If you don't have patience, then sure, you can get lots of things instantly by just buying it with plat and if you don't have the patience to farm for plat then sure you can buy plat with real money. However what you can't do is spend money to win. They leave that to the likes of EA.
Is it DE's fault that you don't want to spend time playing the game or is it there fault that you don't have the time to play their game? No and no.
There for it's your choice if you play NBA or Battlefield or Anthem of anything else instead of Warframe. But if you do, then do you really think you're entitled to the same things than those of us that choose to spend many more hours on this game?
PS: hold on to your hats if the OP reads about the drop chance of Bite, something tells me he'll be one of those that expects to be able to buy it ,maxed no less, for 20p
I am whining because these folks had an idea, that to make a program based on Building and ranking the item, insted of Other ways..
Then restrict how fast you can do it, restrict WHERE you can get the parts, install a system based on a % x a %, which is beyond stupid. Having a <10% chance to get that rare relic, to have another <10% chance to have it drop another rare item,,,Is stupid.
They are making a beautiful, artwork of Characters, and no where to go. They have many Things added for events, that take 6-12 months to repeat..
Lazy?? I dont know. Insted of adding More to the game, they add more Frames. Hide the parts so you cant find them, and by MR5-8 you should be able to do the Whole system.. The leveling does not work very well. Even after they add events to GO BACK to the lower planets, and fight higher rank AI...Been there, and DONE that, 1000+ times.
After 7 years you would think the programming would be pretty solid. There are still glitches. I even had to report one recently, about People leaving Just after a broken Window alert, and After it Changed to a new host, it left the windows open.. They keep Adding things to make it last longer, or restrict how fast you can do everything. Unlike WOW, they dont have anyplace to Go, past this system... OR let us go to the Tao section.

I get what you mean but it isnt really that hard to get them to be honest. I can spend 1-2 hours farming plat and I would get 1-3 orokin potatoes.
Take things slow, relax.

Do you enjoy a forma Blueprint that takes 24 hours?
A Frame that takes more than cause you have to build 3 other parts 72 hours? And it costs you money??
How about having 11 of the same Blue prints but can only make 1 of them at a time. But you need more then a FEW to do something.
OK, fine go relax.. but remember the 1 Big part of this game for MR.. Im sitting on MR13, and its not going to go up until I build 1 more item..and rank it to 30. as well as you might read the first post. Nightwave aint free.

You don't need to catalyst/reactor all your weapons/pets/warframes. The thing about resources in this game is that you need them until you don't. I have built all pets and warframes that have been released and am sitting on a dozen reactors (and a dozen catalyst). I also spent $0 in this game.
So you have a bunch of 1/2 modded weapons, and Frames that cant get past 30-40 points. Cool. you have played how long? 2 years?
I played in beta, and Stopped, and watched as it changed and TRIED to make things better. But it seems, it hasnt.
Seems abit worse. To many monetary types.(another restriction) The Trade in this system would be so convoluted, that nothing could ever be traded.
Farming in games is the idea I dont have to do much, including killing, I can Dig, Plant, Capture animals, fish...and generally not worry allot. But those resources are Mostly good only on those planets. They Pay me in 1 form, then want all of it back Plus more, to Make them be friendly to me?? Then another I PAy to get Crooks out of jail, and give Back those bonds, AND pay a ton of money and a RARE item, thats in LVL 35-50 area...But Venus ISNT a lvl 35 planet..And a low MR person Cant get to those other locations WHERE you have to get a relic(10%) then Fight in on another map to open it, that also higher then yourself, to get A CHANCE (<10%) for that rare item they demand.
THEN the associations,, more of the same. Then on Earth and Venus, you are required, to fight Monsters, higher level then yourself to get Another Monetary Unit for Another group.. To get them to be Nice to you again.
The Frames should Create a UNION and start Charging the planet to HELP them, Because SHIPS need Materials ALSO..
And Why does the Daily give away, GIVE me materials I can get Anywhere, and 5 times as much, in a day??

I've got a reactor on every frame I own and a catalyst on every weapon I've ever enjoyed using, and I've still got 20+ each of catalysts and reactors sitting in my inventory. And I've never paid plat for one. Reactors and catalysts are easy to acquire at a steady rate, though if you're burning through content getting a bunch of frames and weapons all at once you'll probably have to wait a while to put a potato on each and every one.
And I'm not sure I see how lack of access to reactors/catalysts really slows you down. Yes, it limits your arsenal of fully-modded frames and weapon, but the real roadblock there is forma, not potatoes.
Well lets see how fast a weapon upgrades with only 30 points available..Not very.
NOW If I was about 5-8 MR higher, It would be almost instant 30. Im MR23..about 24..
I came back a few months ago with my MR5..
You say there are many places...WHERE? Iv listed all that drop them. And the Percentage chance.
But Iv said this to many people about this game. A good Frame, that a person can handle and a BIG gun, and the mods,and you can walk thru this game. They put to many restrictions/stop points to slow you down, that its abit BAD.
With a nice Leveling System and the mod drops for those Levels, more people would know where they stand, NOT Buy a GREAT Frame, and gun, at MR1, and just THINK they can do anything. Because you have to build, and build and build to get most of your MR.
So they Block it/slow it down, to a crawl, with Like events, that are REQUIRED, to get what you want to make the better builds. But the events are haphazard. There is no Time frame for when they are up or down. There is only 1. So, If I had not spent abit on these 2 things, I would not be MR23. and I really Dont like Sortie. I know my skills, but would LOVE to base THEIR LEVEL on our MR rating. It dont tell The customer anything they need to know.. Like at MR5, some say you can fight lvl 35.. 1 to 7 comparison, but it dont work that way.

they could slow people down as many other games do, a real leveling system, not MR..MR should only be for crafting.. The Difficulty should be based on Our lvl and Their LVL.. but its not.
Which generally means they have to find other ways.. And that makes restrictions..insted of Us EARNING something, we end up being held back. Throw Blue prints at beginners that they cant use YET, or even have access to..
Back to Subject..
There are 6 events to Earn RARE Catalysts and such, Its rare if its <10%..
Out of 6 events, they only run 1. and how are beginners going to get them...you wont get many on the story lines. Im tired of buying them, and I dont really like Sorties. And the only trading Im doing is to dump the excess into the AI. So forcing me to use a 2nd site to find people that want this STUFF, isnt happening, as it should be part of the program, which is BARELY setup. Then there is 1 other biweekly event that WANTS my prime parts also..So Why sell these If Im going to need them.
Then Oberon. so Its my fault for fighting eximus, and everyone of them drops oberon, and I have to throw 8-10 sets every week?? WOW..
Also, Iv already spent about $150+ dollars on this game, over time. Can you guess what buying??

No. Remember, they SELL those, they're a source of income for them. That's why the free ones are so rare
Only if you run solo. The reason I like the Relic system is, you can CHOOSE if the rare drop chance is a soul-crushing 2% or a mostly-tolerable 35% just by adding a little extra grinding beforehand. If you're in a position where you can grind prime parts at all, you're in a position where you have a nice stockpile of Void Traces and can easily farm Interception maps or Syndicate missions for a supply of Relics

Oberon I earned on mission FREE...WHY get the drops?? I can show you Many locations and AI that drop OBERON Parts.. Iv dumped over 16 in a few weeks. All eximus, drop it. its also an award from some missions...how many do you want?
And Nightwave?? really people. You have that much credit with her?? Im making 1-4 frames per week(Im running out of the first gen frames and weapons), there are to many Monetary systems in this game. She gives you those 1/2 rarely. And gets them Back when you buy something.. its a closed system, she makes no profit or loss, and cant spend the money we give her back.
At least Venus and earth, they pay you, then demand MORE back if you want to gain favor.. Including that RARE/RARE Prime item you just got.. Then our Ship demands money to make anything.. Might as well charge us rent on the ship.
6 parts in this game to get them but only 1 is working..HOW to get a lower level person Any? Think of persons starting trying to get them and NOT do Sortie... DRAG them with other higher levels..
Want this game playable even with lower levels..Yes I was in closed beta. quit cause the game felt like Stealing from all these we were to protect...now they steal from us.
Came back to help a friend in MR 23+.. as most of the Clan disappeared while this game was being a head ache. Still in beta if you ask me, even after 7 years.

They can either be bought for
20 under Equipment > Components, or assembled in the Foundry after finding its blueprint. These blueprints can be obtained in one of five ways:
- As a rare reward for completing a Sortie.
- From Gift Of The Lotus alerts.
- From Invasion battle pay (rarely).
- From some Tactical Alert rewards.
- As a potential Daily Tribute.
- One from completion of the Stolen Dreams quest
So many ways to gain 1...Just 1..

And how many ways can we get an Oberon drop? With all the ways, Cant you at least find something ELSE, or do you LIKE locking things up with Finding relics ??%, and trying to have a ??% chance to getting the 1 of 6 inside the relic? To find and to open relic and GET what you want, is...<2%..
There are better ways to Slow players down, then all your restrictions.

Think of a fairly good game trying to make itself better..
so you add, abit here and abit there and try to keep things going..how far do you go? But if you Change all of that, its no longer the same game, and gets Harder and harder to keep the idea/concept going in the direction(s) you wanted.
How do you make leveling work, you add Mods, and more mods...and MR(??) is no longer a representation of level. As a person level 10 can fight enemy in the 40-50's.. but some misc info in the wiki, thinks you can stomp on lvl 100.
You throw things At the Human, like High level parts, that have no use until you get into the Void. Or would be Nice while you are on Earth, the starting point, and have no access to the RELICS in the void.
Then how many monetary, systems are in the game?? 5? Makes things abit convoluted. 2-3 might be nice but 5? Then lets ask how much it costs to build something. lets not and say we did...You Pay for Blue prints, You build Each part them put them together in the end, and Every part, your SHIP charges you money to do, even after you have wondered around getting all the materials to do the jobs. My Ship isnt a Laundromat. I Shouldnt be paying my OWN machines to do a job.. Farming is Farming, its gathering, fighting to get parts you need, so you dont/shouldnt need to PAY to have something done. You should have better ways then Paying to have parts made.
Leveling should be a representation of the levels of battle, we can fight, not based on MR(?) or access to mods and weapons. At this time, you could Pay (Cash) in to the game, buy 1 prime Frame, Get a Good set of weapons or get it With the frame, and march thru the game. because you could go out to certain sites and Buy the mods needed.(cool aint it?)
The Way that MR(?) is now, its about 4-5 to 1 compared to the lvl of the enemy. By the time you get to lvl 15-20, you should be able to Kill everything yourself, with no help from anyone. as long as you have Farmed Mods. The requirements to level arnt to bad at this time, they can slow a person down if they dont have the idea of building everything and mastering them to 30.. But Where does everyone go to start leveling the weapons? Venus. Great place to get them started and tested if they work. Would be interesting if the planets were the levels..But it seems that they stop going up by lvl 40, and then the void and derelict.
something I keep suggesting to World of tanks, and Warthunder, and others...MORE maps. And they keep making tanks and more tanks and more tanks...and Finally they start making different designs and testing more maps.. We need places to go, things to find, things to mine. Let us Create/add/rebuild everything..as part of the game...Warframes are the protectors, but if WE or the natives DONT add to the game, advance the game...what do you have? A continuous war of attrition that isnt going anywhere.. Its like fighting off the Advancement of the Giant mechs that destroy our Satellite bases... If we dont stop them we loose bases.
This is TL/DR and there are lots of little things that can be done, but dont make it Complicated..make new ideas. Adding a Patch that adds something irrelevant or completely Changes the monitory system Just to make things abit harder...Dont do allot for the game..

I find it interesting that your Sword/club/melee is deadlier then most of your weapons or Skills. And that is correct in real life.
Its fighting the ranged war that can get you killed. esp with 4-6 Long range and 10 Just rushing you, Who do you aim for first. Or just run.

did you playing solo when this happen, or was you with a squad, and did any host migration occur ?
which tile set you were playing when this happen?
was it in corpus ship (usually found in phobos/venus) or infested corpus ship (mostly eris)?
if yes, did it ever occur again outside those tile set?
was there a host migration happen before the bug happen?
now, if i understand you correctly, then the same bug can happen in missions that is NOT survival mission, it can happen in every tileset that have glass window that require you to hack console to fix it (which should limit to corpus ship) , and it is a known bug that happen when some corpus glass window broken (the decompression effect) and then host migration happen just right when someone finished the hacking but the game haven't registered that the broken window should be fixed... which would leave the player that remain in a room where window still broken but no console to hack.
This bug should not affect the life support percent (the "oxygen") at all, because it could occur in more than just survival mission, anywhere that isn't the room with the broken window should not eating at your shield, if you can access them.
If this sound familiar to your experience, then pls edit your first post and remove the part about survival mission as it would lead to a lot of unnecessary confusion.
Not solo, as someone left the game...
Cant tell really, as I dont see a title for it, and most of the ones Im doing are with Infested, survival. And it was the ship design, if you count that there was NO outside.. Just big black star fill windows.
And the migration was Soon after the Window being fixed.. It was abit strange to figure, as I was not always the one to hit the console..
AND it does affect the whole ship, as the doors dont lock. You arent sealed in. And as they open and close...Can you guess what happens. It affects the whole ship.
ANd even if you are at the farthest end, and the maps are Not Fully built, it LEAKS.. little hole there, and there and a crack left there in the models..Because they dont expect them to be NEAR an open window.
IF it happens in others, why dont you test it...Should be simple..SEt off the alarm, fix window and have person Eject from the match..BUT, have the transition, as that person WAS the host, control. NOT the client.
Yes they have a strange interface in this game, that is supposed to balance Playing with others even those with older compters. AND WHy some times if there is LAG and 1 Control computer has abit of lag, you fall thru the world..

My friend just suffered abit of a way back, kick out, and befuddlement.
You would think that when a person jumps out of a match or the surface locations the Computer could keepup with it. AND NOT LOOSE all the goods he just picked up. We had a lucky day, and found 2 locations with all 3 toriods. As well as the Storage cans outside of the base numbers 3 times as many. There were others in the match, so I went into the entrance and jumped out of the location. It did a Client translation , and HE LOST EVERYTHING..thanks..
Also, Iv noticed that IF' a window is broken in a Corpus ship, and even if its closed/repair, if someone leave the match...When the game transitions..Shifting the Clients...THE WINDOW HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.. And No console in the whole ship is active.
The word is the WHOLE SHIP..it didnt lock the area either. Its all open. and the air is not there, either.

I was thinking this as well. If you're on a Corpus map, and there's a window nearby, chances are something broke it open and you're suffocating. Find a nearby alarm panel and hack disable it immediately. It should re-pressurize the compartment.
Otherwise, I'd be sure to keep an eye on the life support percentage. If you get to 20%, it will give you a 30 second warning.

None of the consoles were working..in the WHOLE ship...which is funny as you Cant get out of the Closed area, until the window is Closed/repaired.
And even if the area is closed, and the consoles not work, HOW the hell do I get out?

well, Iv had it happen on corp ships, mostly with infested..Where I rank up new weapons.
And Iv even gotten to the console before the person jumped, closed the windows, then they jumped, and they were open again. AND NO console able to take a code.

Its funny, that a game based on Frames, has no real way for most of them to gain, Power/health..Built in.
Then come the skills.. You should have either, defense/offense/ something else to get you OUT or protect yourself.
I aint tried all of them, but have seen tons of vid. And the reasoning for Advanced frame?? Prime?? It would be more interesting to Update/mod/adjust/fix the First frames in the new. Could be a whole story line.
Warframes of the past, that their design is not meant for today, could be updated, over time, and change a few things as needed.

There was Oxygen.. When the Person left, the game shifted the game, and then the window was left open, by the game.
It did not remember what had happened 30-60 seconds before.

I find it interesting that Most times I loose a Part, its in a cave or Near the edge of the islands.
And almost Always the 4/4 ones, only have 3 attacks, the 4th attack never happens, so you dont Get the 4th part.
Also, if they get Knocked OFF the edge, BRING them back alive or dead. WE need those parts.
