  1. Just curious what the crit chance for Landslide is. Anyone know the exact or at least have an estimate? I was just wondering if I should put the melee crit mods on while using Landslide. Also, I do know Landslide has a crit multiplier of 3X, just figured i'd mention that.

  2. On behalf of the Design Council - WHETHER THEY WANT ME TO OR NOT - I apologize that Atlas isn't named Golem.

Atlas is a stupid name for this frame, and we all feel stupid for thinking it was fitting. The name SHOULD have been Golem.

WE WILL TRY TO DO BETTER IN THE FUTURE.

    *glares as Design Council*

Atlas was fairly voted to the top. Sorry your personal choice of "Golem" didn't make it. I wouldn't be waltzing around the forums complaining if my choice wasn't chosen, so I wouldn't expect you to do it either.

  3. It's never coming back.

If you'd do your research and look at the wiki you'd realize it is perma vaulted for not fitting into the corpus weapon theme, and is never coming back

If you did some research you would realize there was a small period of time during a dev stream where a tac alert with the snipetron as a reward was shown. There is no 100% on whether it is coming back or not, but the dev stream made it seem like it could be coming back soon.

EDIT: Just going to add in the necessary "told you so".

  4. I hope everyone enjoys waiting 7 seconds to fire a shot from the vulklok. Such balance DE, the weapon is the same as it was before. Instead of firing 10 shots and hitting one, it now fires a shot every 7 seconds and hits it. This means it is pretty much the same weapon.

  5. If you miss the indicator going below 20% you'll probably miss the on-screen notification unless it is obnoxiously huge at which point I'll have to disagree.

I still disagree regardless. You're supposed to keep an eye on that indicator. The game doesn't have to hold your hand if you refuse to pay attention.

You have clearly never farmed for C rotation Prime Access parts for upwards of 5 hours. You stop playing the game and start doing it automatically. This pop up would really help those players while wouldn't inconvenience any players who don't need it.

  6. "I don't see why everyone's so fussy over the vulklock accuracy nerf, carrier doesn't have a very long range anyway.  >>"

I see we didn't catch my sarcasm... lol.

I meant to imply that it's funny that the vulklok got accuracy nerfed which severely impacts its use on any sentinel other than carrier. King Carrier Conspiracy is real.

Sarcasm is very hard to catch through typing, you need to do it very deliberately. I also probably didn't catch it because there are ones on these forums that would actually say that and be 100% serious.

  7. I don't see why everyone's so fussy over the vulklock accuracy nerf, carrier doesn't have a very long range anyway.  >>

This nerf is sort of the thing that's broken the camel's back. We've had a lot of nerfs recently that the majority does not like. When they stack up like this people get hostile.

  8. Still no fix for DE logic

It all stems from lack of extensive play testing. DE had pretty much admitted they don't play the game that much themselves. Rebecca compared it to a baker not being able to eat everything he makes. However, a baker MUST test every new product that he makes to make sure it is up to standards. DE seems to not do that.

  9. Knee-jerk reaction exactly like Parkour 2.0. People got angry that coptering was going as soon as it was mentioned, and didn't want it. Parkour 2.0 dropped, and it was amazing for the majority of people. Might need a few tweaks, but all in all, very good change. People complain that mods like Serration/Split Chamber etc are bad, DE starts making a suggestion of what they are beginning to look into, and it's met with anger and mass hatred. Nevermind the fact that it's just an idea they haven't fleshed out or mentioned what they will do to balance weapons/ enemies, nor has anyone actually tried it yet, but still most people already seem to hate it.

Obviously they will look at weapon/ enemy balancing to make sure this change is viable, if they go ahead with it.

Why not actually wait and see what they do, try it out for yourself, before instantly *@##$ing about it? If all people do is shut down every change DE try to make, the game will never get any better.

First off, I like the removal of coptering and parkour 2.0, let me just say that. The second DE mentioned either of those changes I loved the idea. Also, it is true that people DID complain about serration/split chamber, however it was the a small part of the community that was complaining about those. Now that DE actually plans on introducing the nerf the majority that wasn't asking for it is going to get VERY vocal. That is what's happening right now. A minority asked for a change, the change is confirmed coming, and now the majority is speaking their mind on it. Also, look back at those "Keep coptering" threads. Typically the very first post saying "coptering should be removed" would get about 4 times more upvotes then the OP. That shows the majority wants the change, unlike this multi shot nerf. And please, don't call these reactions knee-jerk. I have thought quite a bit about these changes and have seen everything the devs have said relating to these changes.  I wouldn't exactly call my post "*@##$ing about it", rather just an explanation of what I feel is wrong with the nerf. And why is it when i'm voicing my opinion on the change it is "Knee jerk" and "flipping out"?

  10. OP, you don't get it. ALL the other changes you listed only affect one aspect of the game. Nerfing multi shot affects EVERY PART of the game for the worse. Also, coptering and melee 2.0 were overall accepted by the community. The majority liked those changes. Nerfing multi gives players a reason to quit, they would be back at square one with weapon modding (need to re-forma) and most would just say "Screw it, i'm not re-doing all my weapons, i'm done". That combined with all the new games coming out, Warframe could easily see a major loss of players. Heck, right now i'm playing free to play games on Kongregate more then Warframe. I don't even have anywhere near as much time as some players in this game either, imagine how they feel.

  11. I would 100% just be done with Warframe if multi shot was nerfed. I'd have to redo everything (like you mentioned) and I couldn't be bothered. That and the fact Fallout 4 is coming soon. I see a lot of players leaving Warframe if they nerf multi shot, mostly because Warframe really needs to compete with all the games coming out soon and nerfing multi shot would just be a reason for players to quit.
