Not the same, Football objectively means a lot more to us than it does to most other nations if only for the fact that it's our national sport, i for one honestly don't see the harm in celebrating the world cup within the game, it's not like i'm asking them to give every English player a free prime war-frame now is it? but rather to celebrate the sport that captivated the entire globe and has continued to do so for decades.

As many of you may know, our great nation suffered defeat last night at the hands of Croatia at the semi finals of the world cup, i would like to ask if DE could possibly offer a consolation event once the world cup is over to bring everyone together to celebrate this amazing sport of football to unify the community, something as simple as the flags of all the nations that participated decorated around space stations and such would mean a lot to me at least, what do you guys think?

I personally don't mind a "daily reward" system as long as its genuinely meaningful, simply logging in for "rewards" is cheap, at least provide the reward after completing your first mission to get said reward that way you at least played the game.

Doing that throught an app? No happening since there is no chance there that you will play the game through your mobile, we dont have that level of technology for mobiles yet.
Then they should change it to daily milestones like how they do so in destiny, so that you actually play the game to get the reward instead of simply logging in to get a reward, as this genuinely does come off as "player count padding" which one would assume DE would be above such things...

"Special Rewards" for "loyalty" only serve to enhance epeen and create smug players who covet their toys and don't want to share because somehow it makes them feel less special. Look at all the snowflake hate recently our Founders got when they wanted to stay "special".
I personally know people who are MR14, have less than 200 hours playing warframe, but they have the Sigma&Octantis, and some even Lodestar (800 day reward). They didn't "play" all those days and years. "logging in and loggin out" does not equal "play the game".
I love it when the ladies check out my big ol epeen... yeah...

Just logging into the game for the rewards is not the same as actually playing the game for the rewards...

Definitely, this is especially helpful for those of us that work, as we may simply not have enough time in the day to turn on the computer just to log into a game to get further towards a milestone, allowing you to do so through the app should have been done so from the beginning to be fair...

Games are meant to deliver you fun. People have different definitions of "fun" but generally slicing enemy in pieces / decapitating it / blowing his ass up in the clouds feels quite satysfying and it's a game afterall.
