Sounds like a region issue. Are you both attempting to play from the same region via one of you changing their region from the options menu in-game? That is, you are probably set to NA and they are probably in EU - one of you will have to switch I believe.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we tried it both ways and it still won't connect us. And I'm not tech savvy enough to know how to troubleshoot further.

  2. So after over a year of inactivity, I, in the eastern side of Canada, have brought my old friend, from Sweden, back into Warframe, however, every time we invite each other, we cannot connect, when I invite them, they get a "Failed to join session" message, and when they invite me, I get no such message, only a "Please wait" loading screen, and then it ends with me not having joined at all.

When we go into our Dojo, we can see each other, but when we enter the same relay, in this case, Strata, when there was no choice of instance, we could not see each other, and we had different player lists. Anyone encounter something similar before, and if so, could you help us out?

  3. A friend of mine I've been taking through Warframe for the last little while has been having trouble with the Vox Solaris quest. He's been wanting to invite me to his sessions, except he can't as his game is saying he's been put in offline mode each time, despite having the matchmaking set to anything other than solo. And because I've already completed Vox Solaris, my instance is different from his, so if he invites me to Fortuna from my Orbiter, we're in the same squad, but can't see each other. AS well, if we enter the elevator together when we can see each other, he's doing the mission solo while I'm kicked to a free-roam instance of Orb Vallis. This is especially strange as I had helped an MR3 player through Vox Solaris beforehand, and he managed to invite me to his missions from the Vallis each time.

  4. Think of it this way: The enemy builds the thing. We take the thing. We use the thing. Enemy loses resources and time used to build the thing, with none of the gain from using the thing because we used the thing, so we get the gain, and we didn't have to spend time and resources building it ourselves, thus meaning we would both have the thing, instead of just us having the thing for our gain and their loss.

Having left the training VR rooms, Kat just wandered around aimlessly inside the ship. She was lost in her thoughts, mentaly reviewing Corpus ciphers and OS's. It was her way of staying calm and focused. Without Sallimarius' presence, Kat felt surprisingly alone. Exposed. Vulnerable. Her Cephalon was more than just a simple AI, it was her friend, not to mention one of the few people who could calm her down. Without her Cephalon's soothing voice and jokes, Kat was doing her best to keep her short fuse in check, not to mention avoiding anything that could trigger another of her flashbacks.

So focused she was on reviewing the differences between the previous Corpus OS's that she didn't notice the Nekros as she bumped into him. Her first instinct as she snapped out of her thoughts by the sudden bump was to roll sideways into a fighting position, her Frame's claws stretched out as she was half-crouched, regaining her balance and ready to pounce if necessary, hissing at him like an angry feline. It was only a second after that, when the rational part of her brain caught on, that she quickly regained composure. She stood up straight and bowed her head slightly. "Sorry..." she said before walking past the Nekros, breathing slowly in order to clam her mind.

Dalimir's attention was so split, in between thinking of plans of action to take against Temperance and his Command Crew cohorts; and ascertaining if he was really being followed or not. The feeling gnawed at him like a Condroc's beak. This unfocused state is what allowed him to bump into another oncoming Tenno full-on. After recoiling from the blow and regaining his focus into the here and now, Dalimir looked to the other for the usual mutual apology they would deliver each other. Instead he found a Valkyr with her back against the wall and her claws on full display, in a combat stance, hissing. Dalimir's right hand instantly flew to the handle of Void's Reclamation, his Ether Reaper.

Before he could draw it, however, the Valkyr-user backed down, as if she realized what she had just done. Dalimir withdrew his hand from the handle of his blade, however, he placed his left hand over the other's shoulder as she walked by. "You must be incredibly frayed for you to draw arms upon a random Tenno like that. Hm? Tell me, have you meditated or slept at all these past few weeks? Our endurance may be great, but we all have our limits." His head tilted as he regarded the Tenno before him. "I... Apologize, but I do not believe we have met. Who are you?"

  6. Dalimir restrained himself from jumping at the opportunity to kill his quarry here and now. To attack at this moment would be to bring the wrath of the security proxy down on his head. He needed the majority of the security team on his side. As Temperance walked by after giving its warning, he simply turned his head and spoke aloud. "You'll have to kill me... Abomination."

It was not until Temperance left the room that Dalimir holstered his weapons and calmed himself. It was time to build as many allies as he reasonably could to assist him in enlightening or defeating the Command crew. And he knew just who to start with. He opened his CPID and composed a message to Jinx.

--Jinx, we need to talk. In private. Meet me in my quarters as soon as you are able.--

It wasn't until after he sent the message that he felt like he was being watched. He looked around and saw noone, but that did not mean he was wrong. He then walked out of hydroponics through the same door Temperance left through, and began making his way back to his quarters.

He still needs work, and this is still feedback.

Vay Hek's in a much better place than what he was originally, that much I guarantee. And we need to focus more on the bosses that need it more than him.

Also, please explain to me how OP's post is feedback, as all I'm seeing is a baseless demand for change with no amount of reasoning or opinion behind it. It is just "Do it" with absolutely none of the crucial context required for it to count as proper and constructive feedback.

Hydroponics 2 was a stark change from the endless rows of steel shelving and growth beds that characterized Hydroponics 1.  Groves of living trees flourished here on the lowest inhabited levels of the ship’s forward sectors, their roots sunk deep into soil-filled wells while their branches stretched towards the radiance of the overhead solar lamps.  Leaves rustled softly in the artificial current of the circulations systems that kept air flowing through the cavernous deck, their susurration just masking the hum of drone repulsors and the soft chirrups of Ancilla’s airborne proxies as they harvested the first crop of Lua Peaches.

Temperance was kneeling in seiza beneath a sprawling tree with a twisted, intertwined trunk and small, heart-shaped leaves, and seemed content to wait quietly as Dalimir approached.  The Nekros came within a few paces and stopped, clearly expecting a response to his earlier statement.  For several moments, there was only the sound of stirring leaves.

“Did you know, Tenno Dalimir, that some of the trees here were spliced from seedling whose genetic roots predate the Orokin Empire?” Temperance asked softly.  “This one here,” he lifted his gaze to the tree under which he sat, “was called ficus religiosa, the sacred fig.  In the time before Orokin, it was said that a wise man sat beneath this tree and meditated until he attained bodhi, the state of enlightenment.  His teaching later inspired millions to follow in his footsteps, seeking a true and just way of living, and ultimately, release from mortal suffering in the embrace of true death.  The Middle Path, I think it was called.  Temperance.”  He shook his head and sighed in resignation.  “Of course, like most every pre-Orokin ideology, his teaching had been twisted almost beyond recognition by the time the Golden Lords came, and after that, who cared for dusty old faiths when the immortal embodiments of physical perfection walked the worlds?”

With quicksilver grace, Temperance flowed to his feet, and to Dalimir’s ever-suspicious gaze, the movement would seem subtly wrong, displaying a depth of fine control that not even Tenno bodies should be able to achieve.

“I was once a scholar like you, Dalimir,” Temperance said, his voice tired and burdened with the weight of old choices.  “And you are correct in thinking that knowledge is power.  But that power can lead us to very dark places, and some things cannot be changed simply by knowing.  Sometimes, the knowing changes you.  Some secrets should be left to fester far beyond the light of day, until they wither and die, and are forgotten.”

Temperance’s gaze bored into Dalimir’s faceplate, and there was naked entreaty in the Ash’s voice.

“Your quest is a noble one, but I must ask you: do not seek this knowledge, Dalimir, please.  Do not make my mistakes.  If you do, I do not know if I can save you from what follows.”

How Dalimir hated meeting those he found suspect in places of tranquility. It was an obvious attempt to dull his senses and lull him into a form of blind agreement. He had read many times an article that had pointed out the fact that many cults did the same, keeping their unaware joiners dulled and complacent to keep them from seeing the truth standing in front of them: That they were only there for the betterment of their "masters". It was at this point Temperance began to prattle on about some ancient, long dead religion that served to be where he had gotten his name. Typical pratter, completely irrelevant to the topic both knew this meeting was really about. Then Temperance stood up, and Dalimir visibly stiffened before taking a quick step backwards. The movement was standard for standing from a kneeling position, but the sheer fluidness of it gave him the impression that it was unnatural, further pointing out the extent of Temperance's infestation.

Dalimir's posture slackened slightly, Temperance should be a Tenno, a brother to him, and as much as he had to, he wanted not to think of him as a puppet of the Technocyte. His voice sounded weary at first when he spoke. "Temperance, where are we going? We both know that message was meant for you, and you alone. I now realize that the very fact you entered a pass-phrase in the first place should have been a major tell. But I wanted to trust you. Is your dead lover as much a lie as the passphrase you spoke in my presence? Where are we going Temperance, and who or what awaits us when we get there?" Dalimir took a deep breath as he allowed Temperance to respond to that before his posture took on its previous tension, his stance showing he was ready to fight as the anger and suspicion returned again, as he must always regard Temperance with such now.

"Do not think to sway me from my goal, Apoxcyst!" Dalimir now shouted, unaware of the two listeners just on the other side of the door he had just entered the room through. "I know what you hide inside that Warframe you are no longer fit to wear! I will drag the fledgling awareness of this crew upon your true nature kicking and screaming if I have to! I will even get Tacis and Cordia to see the error of their ways, since they seem so keen on defending an abomination such as yourself! Or have you already placed them under your thrall with your corrupted flesh?!"

Dalimir drew his twin Magnus pistols, but did not yet aim them at Temperance, showing that he was ready to defend himself, but would not yet strike the first blow. "Do you think to sway my purpose with empty threats? Nothing shall shake my steel will from this task I have taken on! Yes, I do believe knowledge is power, but I do not do this for me. I am honour-duty bound by my clan to attain all the knowledge and secrets that I can. For I wield the Sphere of Knowledge and Secrets, and it demands all." Posture and stance set, Dalimir was ready for just about any move Temperance could make. Should this encounter come to blows, he felt he was prepared.

Actually the part with navigation, market and codex is part of the liset. At least, that's the way it seems to be. Would be nice if there would've been some golden bits here and there.

tbh I was expecting different cockpits for every single landing craft when the Mantis first came out.

No, no it isn't. It'd be incredibly stupid of us to do that.

The cockpit of the Orbiter holds very vital systems, If the Liset were ever to be shot down (and it can) the enemy would have access to our navigational charts, who we deal with, and all of our accumulated knowledge (codex does not mean just codex scans in a lore sense.) To equip all of that on a transport is taking a huge risk of losing that part of the ship forever.

The fact that the cockpit didn't change should have already clued you in.

  10. Thank you DE for the two amazing cinematic experiences you've given us. Please keep up the great work.

However, there are a couple things I'd like to address. One being: Now that you've pretty much established the Grineer into the game in their entirety, will you pour that same love and attention into the Corpus? As a whole (and especially when compared to the Grineer) they feel so underdeveloped. Index Preview, and Raptor rework notwithstanding, the Corpus have not received (I feel) almost any attention since the introduction of the Hyena Pack. While Nef Anyo is a presence, he has not been established into the origin system and at this point and time is a impactless background character that shows up every once in a while. The only other character in the Corpus we've received any interaction with, is Alad V, whom in my personal opinion, is severely over-used and probably should have ended at the point of his infestation. Given the Corpus' established lore, the crewmen to proxy ratio feels horribly off. And until Nef Anyo is introduced into the game as a proper entity, the only boss fights they offer, are mobile weapons platforms. And while I understand the Board is incredibly secretive, the human command presence feels missing, for lack of a better word. Do you currently have any plans to give the Corpus as much attention as you gave the Grineer up to this point.

The second thing is Banshee Prime. Twice now, Banshee Prime has been knocked out of the Prime line-up, and replaced in favour of a different, more recent warframe. While I understand the choice to Prime warframes is ultimately up to you, I can not help but feel that you are intentionally avoiding Banshee in the line up. I am a part of the apparent minority who would very much like to see some love given to this warframe's inclusion into the Prime category. And I feel that this latest move to release Valkyr Prime has caused some form of rift. Can we expect Banshee Prime to be after Valkyr Prime in the line up or not?

    Sincerely,

                         ~Dalimir
