  1. I don't see what the fuss with the 'changes' were. I mean, how many units/kits have we had now that got a look over after launch? Of course the new toy would get 'rebalanced' and would lose its fresh flavor after a week maybe two.

It's as if people don't recognize patterns or something.

  2. Frames:

    Excalibur, because starter frame.
Ember because old World on Fire.
And Titania, because I love flying into walls.

    Primary:

Karak because the look and sound of it.
    Sobek because double barreled shotty.
    Scourge. Because it looks cool.

    Secondary:

    Lex. Because it looks cool.
Catabolyst because Tediore guns from Borderlands were amusing to me.
Magnus, because it's a slick looking sidearm.

    Melee:

Plague Keewar, because I got one billion exp cap on it when maiming strike was a thing.
    Kaszas because archwing.
    Bo because big stick.

  3. In short? No, not the "best" in the slightest. It's a short term grind that caters to those who actually spent time doing Hydron/ESO and slotting in forma. (Which I do like.)

That said, I love the concept of it, where you get two bonuses each round that can either turn you into a roflstomp machine sooner or later. My only gripe is there is no incentive to continue on after you get the Incarnons or the other arcane goodies.
Not doing an hour or so for some credits or endo.

  4. Changed the description of Galvanized Aptitude to better reflect its current function (which clarifies that area of effect damage is not included)

... BUT WAIT! We want to explain why because it’s very important to us that everyone understands where we are coming from with our current design mindset. AoE Weapons are the dominant ones by every usage metric. We see this day after day. Having this bonus apply to the AoE instance felt dangerously close to a myopic choice concerning powering up player Arsenals that simply do not need it. This mod never worked on AoE, and the description now explains that to avoid confusion. We understand those seeking a different outcome will disagree with this choice, but ultimately we are not willing to further bolster AoE at this time. This is due to the increasing difficulty in creating content that serves to challenge the Tenno.

-I seem to recall the mod Cautious Shot reduced damage from AOE, anyone remember that mod? Anyway, of course AOE is dominant in a horde shooter, self damage removal didn't help.

Trinity - Champion’s Blessing (Blessing Augment)

Gain Primary and Secondary Critical Chance for 12s for each percent you heal on allies up to 350%.

-Time to dust off this redundant frame. Yey.

For real, looking forward to the New War (grind).

     Conclave Mods Converted to PVE:

The following Conclave Mods have been converted/balanced to PvE Mods! If you already own these Mods they will automatically be available in your Arsenal. You can still obtain these Mods via Conclave, but will also be added to Nightwave Series 3: Glassmaker Cred Offerings.

    Fixes:

    • Fixed Exodia Contagion projectiles ignoring Limbo’s Rift status of enemies/the player, letting it hit enemies across the Rift.
      • This allowed for Limbo to attack from a position of invulnerability, where normally damage cannot cross the Rift unless it’s a Warframe ability of some kind. We intentionally did not fix this until after the Scarlet Spear event, but it is a bug.

1: So, I don't need to bother with the dead PVP? Nice.

2: Was fun while it lasted I guess.

  6. I wouldn't call myself a burnout player (going on 2.5 years) but I would say that I have little interest in logging in due to having little to do aside from dailies.

As for other games, still have a few heavily modded games to get through, tried out a mobile gacha game and that's been amusing so far.

So in short, I don't have much in terms of things to aim for in this game.

"Late game" is just a case of doing dailies and maybe doing some dress up, at least imo.

  7. If raids were to be brought back in, it would most likely be a kill x enemies to get y rewards deal.

I tried my hand at a raid back in the day and I was bored to tears from it.

  8. I would say warframe did "learn" a thing or two from other games.

Lich system = Shadow of mordor. (That's a mixed bag there.)

Railjack = a few space sim games come to mind.

    Relics = Pseudo loot boxes.

If anything, warframe is an amalgam of ideas from games that could use the concept well, due to their focused nature. (I'm referring to single player titles)

Come to think of it, what is/was the current concept of this game anyway?

  9. Level 100+ sentient targets.

Solution: Shattering impact. Yes, impact is useful and slash is garbage. That is all, good day.

    Defense.

Solution: Hildryn built for max range and using 4. Can cc mobs and lock down 2 maybe 3 lanes.

Volt's shields, can be used for defense and dps increase.

Khora with a hard target CC (2)

Banshee (untested) Built for 2 and 4.

Nova for debuff from 4, very effective.

Wisp specialized for 1 and 3, rather effective.

  10. I'm not sure what the issue with playing a "meta" build is honestly, last I checked the idea is to play how you want.

Take your pick between efficiency or fun. In this case, I'll go efficiency because I sure as hell won't have any fun with this grind.

  11. Step one: Get void hole and clump up fighters and use missiles.

Step two: Hope you get randos that can board and deal with the crewships.

At least that's how I've been doing it, seems to be working.

As for the ramsleds, they aren't much of a threat, same with the hazards aboard the ship. (Except the critical breach, that's the only one you should be concerned with.)
