  1. I think, it's a pity. Gara suddenly rose to be an interesting frame for me and just as quickly dropped off the goody list. Real shame. Her MV had enough short-comings to stay the way it was, I find (open top, limited height, only one instance). You had to consider how to place it best, do an elegant leap and start it at just the right height. It was fun. Brief fun it seems.  :heartbroken:

I mean, I understand the idea behind the change, but somehow... seems like it would have to be either stronger, or some other way to mend the broken section or something of that sort. I don't know...  maybe stronger will do the trick? OR possibly more than 1 instance? Could be kinda neat to stack them somehow.

  2. I was just browsing through my beautiful arsenal, finally having built the Snipetron Vandal, as I noticed again that there's no secondary Vandal apart from the closed-Beta Lato Vandal. Yes, yes, I'm sure this wish comes likely once a year, but just in case there hasn't been one this year: Dear DE-team, I think a secondary Vandal weapon would make it all feel that much more complete! :satisfied:

Could be a Dual Cestra Vandal or even a Staticor Vandal, something that goes with the apparent nature of Vandals...but, yeah, worst case an Angstrum Vandal, just because it kinda looks like Vandal already, hehe. Anyway... just a little extra nag, because DE so urgently needs more nagging! :nerd:

    Cheers and thanks in advance!

  3. I believe, only since today (May 5th, 2017) an old issue appeared again:

A few waves into an endless mission, either after a Stalker or the new Ambulas proxy, the melee and abilities cannot be used anymore. I can still switch weapons, I can even switch to melee without being able to punch, of course. A long time ago this problem was rather common, but I haven't had that in what feels like at least a year.

I hope the HOTFIX I see coming right now might address that already?! If not, it's kind of urgent, because that really is trouble!

  4. You're welcome, but in this case I would be the host and people join after I have entered the mission. I just now, though, had what you are describing, too, ending up with just one out of four players getting a reward, though, clearly everyone had 10/10. So, there's some bigger mess still going on with the reactant management. :awkward:

  5. BUG: VOID FISSURES 10/10 reactant not registered, no reward

Many times now, when I have started a VOID FISSURE mission and people join along the way, I collect 10/10 reactant, but the confirmation sound never comes and I don't get the reward at the end as if I hadn't collected 10.

That's a very frustrating bug, but I hope, it's more frustrating for me than for DE, because this really deserves a FIX, please!:nerd:

  6. ARSENAL, UPGRADES UI bug in latest update... (PC Version, Win7)

Not sure, if somebody else has that, too, but on my system the mod selection scroller seems to be offset badly to the left!

At least one whole column of mods is missing to the right as a result. I assume it should be at least 2 if not 3 widths of a mod over to the right so that it would look proper again.

The MODDING UI is still fine, by the way.

  7. My feedback on Octavia goes actually not as bad. Admittedly, I first thought she was going to be some sort of April Fools, but after going through the somewhat pleasurable trouble of putting her together, I find her enjoyable to play. The whole Ability 3 thing with moving in the rhythm to get a certain boost is really a bit awkward to me and feels kind of contrived, making me (at least) stare confused at the percentage numbers in the upper right corner, hoping I got it going and then...eh... just going with what ever seems to have happened. It feels a bit flimsy. Not to mention that some neat rhythms make me feel like moving in a different groove then hoping to hit the first beat all the time, hehehe...

But, yeah, she's got way more potential than I would've thought and making the little songs is a blast. I'm hoping for some minor improvements there, though, which I've posted about already, but eh... setting accents and the ability to hold notes, which otherwise then should have a tight release. These two things could make it quite brilliant. The look of the GUI is gorgeous and fun!

Altogether: No April Fools! Good Fun! Training my challenges with political correctness and making me giggle about myself, playing this game! I mean, I was giggling before at times, but this one really is forcing a good sense of humor.

  8. It's still really crude, as amazing as it is that there is such a thing like the Mandachord now. But to me the sounds, especially bass, are a bit too soft in the attack and have a pretty long release. The quality of them remind me somehow to old Amiga times, hahaha, which is a bit harsh, but well... really, it's almost like you wouldn't expect a hi-tech game like Warframe to have such 1990's style audio solution, while visually it's awesome!

I understand the dilemma, that's for sure, and it's truly ambitious. I think, I'd be happy, if there were just an ACCENT option to at least introduce one layer of dynamics, which would likely make it less disturbing.

Dream-come-true would be the ability to "hold" notes to play the whole sample, which otherwise would have a tighter release. This, too, would increase the potential a lot without becoming too scary.

Anyway, great potential, kudos to DE's bravery and thanks for that piece of extra fun! NOW just a few price specials for them crude soundsets, because 50 is a bit steep, considering. Anyway...

  9. First of all: Thanks DE for sneaking in yet some more creative outlets for players. I think, that is wonderful!

Suggestion for MandaChord sequencer: ACCENTS. Would be awesome, if you could use RMB on notes to set an accented note, similar to the old Roland 808 type of sequencers, you know. It shouldn't be too shocking to implement, but would add a whole new dimension to compositions without going overboard.

  10. My Kubrow Don got scared and went up a tree, never to come back down again!:crylaugh:

    Kubrow_Don_Scared.jpg

Yep, I was looking around to find him and that's where he went and literally never came back down for the rest of the void defense mission.

Thought you might get a giggle out of it, too.

  11. Oh...that's so weird. It's for the sentinel's gun...."Stinger"...I see.

Very strange concept. Having to equip it on a primary weapon to unveil...meh.

  12. I wished I could tell you what was different, but I literally always start warframe the exact same way under the exact same circumstances as far as I can tell, yet, randomly the mouse sensitivity goes nuts...and it's not regularly, but truly randomly. Sometimes it felt like it was every other day.

Most of the time I send my machine into sleep mode instead of turning it off, so... this is on Windows 7 pro (64 bit). So, yeah...it's also a problem I do not remember having before U16, I think, but I'm not totally certain. I'm running it windowed, by the way.

I really wished I could be of more help, but it does drive me crazy, too.

  13. Ah, thanks for moving the topic! I haven't been much on the forum, yet. Still gotta find my way around. Thanks, again!

Anyway, yeah, I feel awkward sharing my impressions about Ivara, while I haven't spent too much time with her, but that's exactly it. Something keeps holding me back.

I also agree that she's ironically the more conceivably "realistic" frame in that her stealth relies on her being rather still. It might just be a pacing thing compared to other frames. However, for what it's worth, I'm just sharing my thoughts and sorrows, haha, that a frame that really excites me terribly is one that I find myself not wanting to use. <shrug>

I wished I had some more concrete suggestions. At the end of the day it might be good to check out statistics on players, who own certain frames, and which of them do they really use how often (for how long). That might give a hint on what's most successful.

By the way, right after I posted this topic, I went with Nezha into a spy mission and fell in love right away. Throwing that fire disk and teleporting to it is complete joy to me. To me this could well grow into my most favorite frame, or at least into the top 4 (Loki, Nova, Nezha, Ash). I just know Ivara belongs in there, too. Maybe I just have to really train with her properly!

TO ALL OF YOU: Thank you, really, your reactions are inspiring and I'll toss myself right into that...see, if it gets my initial excitement about her back up!

  14. Happy New Year, first of all!

Then comes a big congratulations on Nezha and Ivara; such fun frames!

However, I hope it's ok- and the right place- to make a little suggesion or give some feedback on Ivara?

My first impression was almost euphoric, because 3 of her abilities are just beautiful. But she seems to have so much more potential or clarity, if only Prowl was more useful, really. As a stealth character, one would imagine she'd be ideal for Spy missions, but she really isn't at all. Nothing beats Loki for those, while she almost could.

Prowl just doesn't seem to serve much purpose or at least it's not a whole lot of fun to crawl around inside such a dynamic game, you know. What could be kind of entertaining was if she would put everyone to sleep she'd touch then, similar to some frames who leave trails like Ember or now Nezha, who is all around exciting for the amazing dynamics it has.

Alternatively, but maybe a little inconsistent, would be, if she could pass through lasers while in Prowl, I don't know. Just something to make it more attractive or give her greater use.

Anyway, I just wanted to throw something out there, because I really love that frame, if only it would make me want to use her, too(...ugh...that sounds kinda off). I just find myself always wanting to take her (that's not helping), but then I just know she doesn't work right for anything in my opinion. It's so sad to me.

I'm not gonna go into the WuKong thing...not like I was entitled to discuss any of this, but what in the world...even Atlas seems more of a revelation than that one. (I may have lost more friends now, did I?)

Anyhow, I'm having a riot with Nezha right now and really hope you'll consider figuring something out to give Ivara the kind of edge to make her a frame you want to wear. :o)

Again, thanks for everything, I've rarely had as much fun for as long with any game as with yours!

  15. Haha, man, I never use ciphers...almost forgot about them! xD

Well, new type of missions are always fun, but even as it is now, I do enjoy the spy missions a lot and wouldn't mind, if they would just serve such a purpose, you know.

    I could imagine that the "infiltration" aspect of it could be more severe, such that you must not raise any alarms, for example. Could be terribly annoying, too, haha. I always solo those missions, for imaginable reasons. This would certainly amplify them! 8}

  16. I think, it would be awesome to have a kind of compromise between knowing the reward of a big mission and the surprise effect of (MUCH HATED) RNG rewards.

Most of the time Spy Missions really don't mean anything. But it would be great to use them meaningfully as an option for a big mission.

You have these new 3 stage missions. It would be so fantastic to have an option to use a smaller spy mission that is always available to find out the loot to see if it is worth it to go through the trouble, you know!

    Anyway, just a thought! ;o)

    Best,

    T

  17. I guess, before adding new Archwings, they'll have to fix Archwing missions again!

Since today, I've had plenty of weird bugs. From Exterminate missions with 1/1 enemy to space walking without Archwings and normal on-foot melee and abilities, but the archwing gun. Let me tell you, it takes a long time to walk from one interception node to the next in space! xD

    So...need fixin'!
