Chroma rework - Draconic Metamorphosis Here are some stuff that I wrote as a possible rework for Chroma **Current Chroma:** - **Passive:** Elemental Ward provides elemental bonuses based on Chroma's choice. - **Ability 1:** Spectral Scream - Chroma emits a stream of elemental energy. - **Ability 2:** Elemental Ward - Grants an elemental shield and various bonuses for Chroma and nearby allies. - **Ability 3:** Vex Armor - Boosts power and armor, with additional benefits based on damage taken. - **Ability 4:** Effigy - Chroma releases a spectral dragon that crowd control the enemies, drawing their aggression. **Chroma - Draconic Metamorphosis:** - **Passive:** Elemental Mastery offers power bonuses for abilities as you accumulate Energetic Resonance. - **Ability 1:** Dragon's Roar - Chroma emits a dragon's roar, disorienting enemies and providing buffs. - **Ability 2:** Draconic Enhancement - Activates Vex Armor and integrates Elemental Ward, offering benefits based on Elemental Surge. - **Ability 3:** Chroma's Tailwind - Generates a powerful wind, pushing enemies and providing a speed boost for allies. - **Ability 4:** Draconic Cataclysm - Invokes a draconic force, creating a domain of chaos and destruction. **Additional Passive:** Draconic Metamorphosis brings a visually changing aspect for Chroma as Energetic Resonance accumulates, partially transforming into a draconic appearance. **Energetic Resonance (Draconic Metamorphosis):** - **How it Increases:** - Energetic Resonance increases as Chroma uses abilities and eliminates enemies, showcasing his commitment to the battle. - **Benefits:** - Upon reaching a certain threshold, Chroma receives a bonus to power (or efficiency) and duration for abilities, reflecting the accumulation of his connection with dragons. - Energetic Resonance also influences the Elemental Mastery passive, increasing the bonuses granted for further ability usage. - **Visual Aspect:** - As Energetic Resonance grows, the visual aspect of Chroma undergoes a metamorphosis, adding a thematic and dynamic element to the gameplay. **Current Chroma:** - **Passive (Elemental Ward):** - Operates independently of a specific accumulation and provides elemental bonuses based on Chroma's choice. - Does not have a specific visual component tied to accumulation or transformation. **Current Chroma:** - **Abilities Synergies:** 1. **Spectral Scream (Ability 1) + Elemental Ward (Ability 2):** - Spectral Scream can be used while Elemental Ward provides protection and additional benefits. 2. **Vex Armor (Ability 3) + Elemental Ward (Ability 2):** - Vex Armor amplifies from damage taken, benefiting from the protection provided by Elemental Ward. **Chroma - Draconic Metamorphosis:** - **Abilities Synergies:** 1. **Dragon's Roar (Ability 1) + Draconic Enhancement (Ability 2):** - Dragon's Roar disorients enemies and provides a boost, and Draconic Enhancement amplifies the benefits. 2. **Draconic Enhancement (Ability 2) + Chroma's Tailwind (Ability 3):** - Draconic Enhancement integrates Elemental Ward and activates Vex Armor, setting the stage for Chroma's Tailwind. 3. **Chroma's Tailwind (Ability 3) + Draconic Cataclysm (Ability 4):** - Chroma's Tailwind pushes enemies into a specific area, potentially maximizing the impact of Draconic Cataclysm. Augments: 1. **Enhanced Dragon's Roar:** - *Effect:* Dragon's Roar gains a chance to disintegrate weaker enemies, restoring a portion of Chroma's health for each disintegration. - *Benefit:* Adds sustain and utility to the offensive roar, encouraging its use in dire situations. 2. **Elemental Fusion (Draconic Enhancement Augment):** - *Effect:* Each Elemental Ward bonus is doubled, and allies within range receive a portion of the bonus. - *Benefit:* Reinforces the support aspect of Elemental Ward, promoting team synergy and survivability. 3. **Tailwind Tempest:** - *Effect:* Chroma's Tailwind creates a temporary vortex, pulling enemies towards its center, amplifying the impact of Draconic Cataclysm. - *Benefit:* Adds crowd control to Chroma's mobility ability, enhancing the synergy with the ultimate ability. 4. **Draconic Havoc (Draconic Cataclysm Augment):** - *Effect:* Enemies affected by Draconic Cataclysm have a 25% chance to drop energy orbs upon elimination. - *Benefit:* Encourages activity and engagement within the chaos created by Draconic Cataclysm, providing a potential source of energy for continued ability usage. And some details for his 4th, because I like this one a lot. **Draconic Cataclysm:** - *Visual Description:* - Chroma channels the power of ancient dragons, summoning a swirling field of chaotic energy that expands outward. - The field is infused with ethereal draconic energy, crackling with varying elemental hues and accompanied by dazzling lightning arcs. - Lightning bolts sporadically strike the ground within the field, adding an electrifying and dynamic element to the chaotic atmosphere. - Ghostly dragon silhouettes on the edges of the field are illuminated by the flashes of lightning. - *Gameplay Effect:* - Draconic Cataclysm creates a dynamic zone of elemental chaos, dealing damage over time to enemies within its boundaries. - Allies within the field gain elemental enhancements based on Chroma's Elemental Ward bonuses. - Draconic Havoc augment introduces the chance for enemies eliminated within the field to drop energy orbs.
