1. Yeah, you're comparing the time cost required to build the items and not taking into account the worth of the item itself. I haven't had the akbolto yet, but every forum post ever that mentions it explains how stupidly powerful it is, the catalyst is a component that allows you to supercharge weapons, allowing them to be stronger by doubling the mods it can hold.

The proper fix, from your point of view, would be to either increase the akbolto's time cost to greater-than 24h, reduce the catalyst time cost to less-than 12h, or swap the two (as well as change every other weapon's time cost to match its worth in platinum).

    Imo, no fix necessary.

(Maybe make platinum worth a little less, $5 for 75 plat seems a little steep, factoring in weapon slots, warframe slots, and catalyst/reactor costs.)

  2. Current plans as I understand:

1)Remove health & shield buff mods.

    2)Allow players to reset account.

i)Reset accounts will retain unique equipment (including health shield mods?).

ii)Reset accounts will get back all spent platinum including bonus platinum rewarded from patches. (I.e. platinum bonus given

    after 7.0 launched.)

So, I'm curious... if the "Reset" button is planned to be released with update 8.0, and I'm assuming the removal of health/shield buff mods is as well, will those become unique mods that are retained after the reset?

If not, it kind of put us that would really prefer to reset our accounts in order to make wiser use of our platinum in a tug-of-war battle between being more efficient about our platinum purchases and being able to experience the beginning again (possibly test new warframes we haven't tried yet) and dealing with wasted platinum in order to keep what may end up being a significant boost to any of our warframes going forward =/

Imo, if the mods scheduled for removal don't become uniques that carry over after a reset, you may as well actually remove them from the system indefinitely.

  3. What if you swapped with your own decoy. that causes an alert. You may want to do such a thing to bypass a large open room immediately.

While we're on the topic, what about backstabs not ALWAYS instagibbing a non-boss mob. That's infuriating to me, spending a minute or so to stab a guy, only to find out he survived and alerts everyone. Best stealth is to just kill everything in the block before they can get to an alert panel IMO :(

Fair enough on that note, hadn't thought of that as I don't have Loki yet. If both the player and decoy are undetected, then yes, I think remaining undetected after swapping is fine.

  4. -swith teleport SHOULD NOT CAUSE ALARM

In current state switch teleport cause alarm, which doesn’t help stealth at all.

We suggest to make switch teleport stealthy and cause only confusion while you are undetected

    False.

Why in Lotus' name would switching places with an enemy not alert them? If suddenly you got teleported on top of a box in opposite corner of the room you were just patrolling in, you'd be shouting as loud as possible over your radio shortly after you recovered from soiling yourself.

Just because it's not suitable for X style of gameplay, doesn't mean it needs to be changed in an illogical way to facilitate it. It's quite acceptable for "stealth" warframes to have skills that don't necessarily compliment stealth gameplay.

  5. Yeah... I'm always that guy that's like "Sigh... if only this game had hoods, cloaks, and robes..."

This game doesn't need them. At all.

Each warframe is specifically designed to fufill a role in the best way possible, so adding waving strings to their head, back, shoulders, or what-have-you only pushes them farther from that ultimate goal.

Also, pretty much all warframes are basically form-fitting full-body underwear... this idea is basically making most warframes into Ninja Captain Underpants.

  6. Regardless it's a bug that needs squashing.

If I'm hitting multiple enemies with a puncture mod, or I'm hitting one multiple times with multishot, it dosn't mean I'm more accuate. The accuracy algorithm needs to be adjusted to account for these 'extra' hits.

I disagree, as the Accuracy statistic is a 1:1 of shots taken to targets hit. If you fire a single shot, it's expected to hit a single target, attaining 100% Accuracy. If it hits two targets, then the ratio changes to 1:2, doubling the accuracy of the shot to 200%. You are indeed more accurate if you hit multiple enemies in a single shot.

  7. As far as I know, Runners explode based on proximity to an enemy, so I think (lore-wise) if they have no control over it and it's just based on how close they are to Tenno... then they will explode whether you're invisible or not.

  8. Got a fix from DE today:

Try looking in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Warframe (copy/paste that into a browser window or even the search bar, it shoudl take you to the correct place) and delete the EE.CFG file and any folders with funny names consisting of names and numbers.

Worked flawlessly, had to redo my settings/colors/equipped items one last time and it runs perfect now.

  9. Hmm... I use dual monitors as well, but because of the fact that I'm usually reading forums/watching youtube while I play - I play in windowed mode. Never have any problems with mouse slipping and have to alt+tab in order to release it (at least while playing, in menus I can free-roam, but the game doesn't minimize on click.) Might try playing in windowed mode until this gets fixed.

  10. Just got an email back from my ticket, for any others that have this issue:

"Try looking in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Warframe (copy/paste that into a browser window or even the search bar, it should take you to the correct place) and delete the EE.CFG file and any folders with funny names consisting of names and numbers."

Thanks DE, I really really appreciate it!

  11. I suppose you just hotfixed something... however after the patch I came back in with all of my settings reset, colors reset, weapons/frames still modded (happy about that) but my UI in the Arsenal lags a fair amount whenever I return to the main Arsenal screen from modding a weapon or changing colors.. =/

Edit: In fact, it often lags to the point of the client not responding for ~5-10 seconds, then clips back to normal. I've set my settings all the way down to see if that corrects the issue and it hasn't... previously had most settings on and at a reasonable level.

Edit 2: ... Every time I restart client, all settings/colors/equipped items are reset to default.

Edit 3: I've uninstalled and redownloaded/installed, issue still happening. I thought I may have screwed with something and broke it, but after trying everything I can think of, I have a feeling it's not me.

  12. Just got a bonus objective to get 30 kills for the Kiliken Defense mission on Venus. Unfortunately, being a low level planet, the waves were small and few. Only 26 mobs spawned, and I got a 27th kill on the camera. Maybe the bonus objectives need to have a way to take into account the type of mission you're playing, that way they're acheivable during all missions, even if they may be hard.
