  1. I like how the Converted Kuva Liches are now. They're so much more useful than they were before. However, the one major idea I have is: Why can't we mod our dear Kuva Liches (Converted) to make them even more powerful? And a special Endo you pick up to go with those Kuva Lich Mods? Wouldn't it make sense to make your Converted Kuva Liches the best buddy for you to use in battle with? Like a mod that extends your kuva lich stay time? Or weapon damage? Or specific Kuva Lich Auguments (Kinda like Warframe Auguments) that powers up your kuva lich's abilities? And you'd go to a menu in your arsenal that allows you to pick and choose which Lich you can choose to spawn at random, cause I'm sure many tenno have basically armies of armies of Converted Kuva Liches and like a specific one that they want to randomly spawn all the time. For example, I have Cofekry Zekhl (Who I love to nickname Chinese Markiplier cause she looks like him), and Jekks Imm who's just an all around lovable goofball that I enjoy seeing spawn on missions. But I want Jekks Imm to spawn all the time because I love his personality. And I also want to mod him to become more powerful. Same goes for when the Command Internistic comes out (Hopefully this month!), I'd like to make him a powerful crewmember to help fight boarders, sentient, Corpus, or Grineer alike. Same will go for Corpus Liches (Which I hope to god they're called Big Wigs, referencing Toontown Online/Rewritten) and infested liches.

  2. Here's another guide coming at you, this time with big oni boi Grendel.

Congrats! You just spent hours upon hours getting Vitus essence and did the missions to get oni boi Grendel's parts and built him. Now equip him and have yerself an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Oni Boi Grendel was released in October of this year with the Old Blood update. Bear in mind, he's a big fat boi who loves to eat eat EAT. But what's to him that makes him unique and powerful? To understand him, you must know his story.

    The story... told short.

Oni boi was friends with fast boi, fast boi would go in to enemy territories, oni boi would eat up people, blah blah blah. Want the full story? Go see his Levarian. So, you may ask yourself: "Should I team up with Gauss with my own Grendel for a powerful combo?" My answer? Maybe. I'm not saying yes, nor am I saying no, as you do what you want with oni boi. But as from my experience, I say team him up with whoever you wish.

    How to acquire him

This boi is not an easy task to acquire. You must get 75, you're hearing me right, 75 Vitus essence, 25 for each piece key. My friend was nice enough to gift Grendel to me, so I skipped that grind, thank GOD. So, you're just better off buying him instead. But, if you want to do the grind, I suggest taking a powerful army into a Arbitration, maybe consider even getting a Grendel on your team yourself too. Just be careful, and get the best mods you can. Fulmin or Quellor will help you in the long run... even that... ONE primary. Those who done... THAT QUEST will know which primary i'm talking about. Just load up your weapons with the best crit mods you can find, and unveil the best crit rivens you can get. From the keys, you can figure out pretty much from there what you need to do.

    His powers

Let's talk about his powers. The most important one is Feast. Feast will allow you to Vore snipe eat enemies and store them in Grendy Boi's stomach. Feast will lead into the other abilities in his kit. You can also turn Grendel into a shotgun if you hold his 1! But be mindful on your ability range if you really want to eat snipe enemies from afar. 70m range will help, but also watch your energy too, SO LOAD UP ON THEM EFFICIENCY MODS IN THIS FAT BOI. Any number past 10 will drain your energy faster than the sentients can snipe you. Speaking of which, if you turn on friendly fire in the simulacrum, you can eat all sorts of others! And you can also eat sentients too and barf them off the map! We'll get into that ability later. If you want to turn his shotgun version of his 1 into a deadly one, I highly suggest loading up on ability strength mods. If you ran out of ammo, or just basically wanna snipe enemies from afar with your black hole, go for your 1. Oh, and I almost forgot, his 1 is also a VACUUM, you heard me right, A FREAKING VACUUM. He can vacuum mods, resources, void reactant, even requiem relics (Not tested but i'm sure you can), up to you. Make use of your 1 if you don't have a companion with Fetch, or companion with Vacuum.

Nourish: Nourish will give you 3 buffs, based on what you ate. If you're too lazy and haven't seen the tips, I'll tell you here and now what they are.

Nourished Armor: Gives you a radial explosion of toxic armor if you get struck. Go for melees if you want this.

Nourished Energy: Gives you more energy from stuff you pick up... but if you have channeled 1 on, you're limited on that. Go for ranged enemies if you want this.

Nourished Strike: Gives your strikes a toxic punch. Go for Heavies or summoned units if you want this.

You can also give these buffs to your allies, so make use of this ability well!

Regurgitate: By far the best other snipe ability for Grendel. Use this to turn your ate enemies into a toxic projectile to launch toward others... or just yeet them straight off the map and into the beyond. Useful for getting rid of those pesky sentients if you don't have the Paracesis, THAT GUN, or an umbra on your team!

Pulverize: Turns you into a giant meatball to roll around and feel like Sonic in. A slow but somewhat sonic-like feeling. To get the max effect for this ability, eat 10 enemies.

Which mods should you go for when picking Grendel aside from ability enhancers?

Adaptation for damn sure, you don't need your enemies picking you off easier than Mario can die. As for anything else, GO WITH ARMOR. Umbral set will enhance everything for you, so stack that with Primed Vigor if you have it. Lots of health will benefit Grendel in the long run. Shields won't be a problem here. Go with Hunter Adrenaline, and also pick up a Arcane Energize if you have one. I myself don't have one, but kills converted into damage will help a LOT.

    Any closing thoughts?

EAT. EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT WITH THIS BOI. And load up any corrosive mods on your weapons for maximum effect! Overall, I love this boi, and he's been... a 3rd main for me ever since he came out. Happy eating, Tenno!

  3. Since I did a Railjack Guide, I might as well do a Kuva Lich guide/my experience tell! I know many of you, whether love it or hate it, have mixed reactions on the Kuva Lich system. But! I'm here to make it easier on you with this guide and give my personal experience.

So, what is a Kuva Lich?
Think City of Heroes's Nemesis system, or Champions Online's Nemesis System. They're like them, but you can't set the costume, name, powers, etc. They can't be set.

How do I initate a kuva lich if I wanna take on the system?
Do The War Within first. Afterwards, you're set for creating your Kuva Lich. Go into a Level 20+ Grineer mission (Cassini in saturn is the best place to birth one), wait for a Kuva Guardian to announce their presence, mercy it if you feel you want to take on the task, you're set.

    The base system itself
This is your enemy. Your immortal enemy you have set to take down. Each lich is unique to you, and each lich will have their weapon bonus set on whatever frame you killed them with. For example, if you killed them with Grendel, you get Impact. Excalibur? Electric. Saryn? Well... That one's obvious. Spin to Win (Revenant)? Cold. Be mindful on what warframe you want to use to give your kuva weapon the bonus with. Anyways, You get requiem relics, you go in, you try to kill your lich, You fail 5-howevermany times, you rinse and repeat with trial and error.

How do I stop the Kuva Lich, and how can I recover my stolen crap?
Well, first of all, get good at the Kuva Lich system, which is what I'm here to tell you how to do. Second, STOP WHINING ABOUT KUVA LICHES BEING BULLET SPONGES, WHETHER CONVERTED OR NOT. You made them how they are, deal with it. But, if you want to kill your lich, you'll want to acquire those Requiem Mods acquired from Thralls or Kuva Siphon/Flood missions. Kuva Siphon has 50% chance of getting one, and Kuva Flood has a damn well guranteed 100% chance of getting one. Be mindful on which one you go into! Pop the relics in the Kuva Fortress's Requiem Fissures. AND GO PUBLIC. You have a greater chance of survival if you don't solo these fissures!

What tips do you have for killing a lich?
Go for the requiem murmurs first before getting to your lich. The earlier you learn your FIRST requiem, the better. If you run out of nodes, your lich will level up, so if you get to the last node, mercy him/her (Only less riskier if you have revealed your first murmur at this point), learn from it, and keep going. The riskier the reward, the better. But be mindful on how much you level your lich. The further you level it, the more harder it is to down your lich, he/she has more health, he/she has more armor, he/she can hit you like a truck. So do your best to keep your lich's level down.

Do I kill, or convert my lich?
Pros for Killing your lich: You get it's weapon/Ephemera. That's... pretty much it.
Pros for Converting your Lich: You gain a bodyguard, and when Command for Railjack comes out, a new member of your crew. Consider this one if you want a big AI Crew when Command comes out. I already got two lined up for my railjack AI crew.

My Kuva lich has additional dialog for (Insert Kubrow, Kavat, Operator, etc here). What is this?
Quirks. Each Kuva Lich has a rare af chance to spawn in with a quirk. This is what makes your Lich unique.

What is your experience with a Kuva Lich, if any?
When I first created Cofreky Zekel, I instantly fell in love with him/her and wanted to convert him/her. He/she (I couldn't really tell.)had a Kuva Chakurr with electricity damage, and he just had that Chinese Markiplier (YES I KNOW HE'S KOREAN) kind of vibe to him. Then Jeks Imm came along, and I also wanted to convert him. Yes, the system is hard, and I agree with everyone why they're mad about the system, but I enjoy the challenge. It's better than doing nothing, I say!

Do you have any closing thoughts?
Enjoy what you got with this system. It's only gonna get harder from here when Corpus Liches come out. I'm serious. Happy hunting, Tenno!

  4. One more thing I forgot to mention: YOU DON'T NEED A RAILJACK TO DO EMPYEREAN IF YOU WANT TO GO PUBLIC. ALL YOU NEED IS AN ARCHWING. IF YOU WANT TO HOST, IF YOU WANT TO PILOT YOUR OWN SHIP, YOU NEED TO BUILD YOUR RAILJACK WHICH WILL TAKE 3 DAYS, AND A CRAP TON OF GRINDING, BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT, TRUST ME. I DIDN'T MAKE THIS GUIDE JUST BECAUSE I THOUGHT THE GRIND WASN'T WORTH IT.

  5. I didn't know where to put this guide for y'all just starting out on Railjack, so I figured the General Discussion might be a good place to put it. Anyways, on to the guide!

Congrats! You just spent 3 days building your railjack, did The Second Dream, spent 6 million credits, probably did the pre-empyrean grind, or went on a railjack mission to get your resources! Now go install your Cephalon and get ready to fly.

Railjack is Warframe's 2018's most hyped thing that... didn't launch last year, but instead this year, surprisingly during the Game Awards. I delved some time into Railjack, got so far with my Intrinsics, and now i'm here to give you a guide to working on making your railjack both ready for The New War and overall just for Empyrean.

First thing's first. Your railjack itself.
So you got your Railjack spaceworthy. Everything's awesome, everything's cool, but how do you get it flying? Well, you're stupid for not knowing how to open up the solar nav Just go to your navigation console as you would in your orbiter. It is located in your pilot room at the south of the railjack (Front). Open up a mission, and do it! But to be prepared for solo content pre-Command intrinsic, you must go public. That's right, you must INTERACT WITH OTHER PEOPLE, YOU INTROVERTS. Nah, I suspect most of you aren't introverts, but you still must interact with others. To do this, go public in your Orbiter, and click on the top right button that has a railjack on it. That'll be your "Join a crew" portion. Now, most of you all don't know what the tactical menu is, so I'll get into it within this next section.

Your saving grace, the Tactical Menu.
So you want a map of your railjack, want to see what others are doing, give a command to others, or just borrow a power from your buddies. That's where this baby comes in. By getting Rank 1 in tactical, you unlock the tactical menu, your saving grace for most, if not all, railjack missions. You press L, you open it up. Here, you can give Cy the intensive to nag the crap out of everyone to do a certain thing, or just hear the red old war cephalon talk, he's just that good. By unlocking Rank 2, you can use others's warframe powers using the same menu. Each warframe on your team comes with their own pre-set ability for you to use aboard your railjack. Rank 3 allows you to fast travel within your railjack, even from the outside (As long as someone is inside.) Rank 4 allows you to recall fast to your Railjack. If you're lucky enough to get to rank 10, you can warp to a specific person that you'd like.

    Customization
Your railjack is your sanctuary, your chance in the New War, your home. But, you need to make it SEEM your own. Pick out your perfect color scheme for both interior and exterior, name your railjack (Mine's the Stickman HQ!), If you feel like you want anime names on it (*Golden Wind intensifies*), go for it. It's your railjack, you do as you please. You can also put glyphs that you own on your railjack. I'm gonna be leaving on my jingle kavat on my railjack all year round, cause it looks cute. :3 Anyways, it's your railjack, you do as you please with the colors and skins. Though if you want a preference from me, go get the Sungem skin. It has that cool slick look.

The proximias you will be going to first
You have Earth, Saturn, and Veil to start out with. Earth doesn't require any intrinsics, Saturn requires a rank 2, Veil requires a rank 7. I'll be getting to recommended intrinsics in a bit. For now, let's go into each of the proximias.

Earth: Your start for the railjack storyline. You progress here, you get your MK1 gear, you're good. You can solo here pretty good if you're an expert, have good weapons, so on and so forth. Basically, help your fellow tenno out for getting their railjacks ready for space by getting them here! Or just chill in the free flight zone, watch movies, or watch devstreams from in this zone! It's a comfy space, so why not?

Saturn: Tough bois come in here. Beautiful view post-mission tho. Definitely come here for good avionics/MK2 gear.

Veil: Ah yes... the veil. The mysterious sector. Here you will encounter harder than ever-before enemies and fighters. Be on your guard here. And be sure to check out the mysterious blinking red signal... there's something waiting for you there... You will need a intrinistic level 7 (AT LEAST ONE) to enter if you're hosting. Someone can taxi you here (And saturn too), but in order to host in the veil, you need an intrinisic level 7 for here. Speaking of intrinsics.

    Intrinsics, your skills for Empyrean.
In this section, we will be talking about the most important section of all: Intrinsics. These are your saving grace for most empyrean stuff. But what do I recommend you get or start out in? Here's the order that I recommend you go in.
Tactical for your tactical menu and recall. Invest ALL you can into this, Join Warp, Recall, and the ability to use other warframe's abilities will help you in the long run, even when Command comes out.
    Engineering for faster omni repairing.
Gunnery for Archwing Warhead and the ability to use archwing slingshot, and also for the IMMA FIRIN' MY MEGA LAZAH cannon against those pesky crewships.
    Piloting for TOKYO DRIFTING
Each of these skills will help you out in the heat of battle. When command comes out, I suggest investing your points in THAT category too, as you will need it, and you'll want as MANY Kuva Liches as you can carry. Converted, I mean. So stop whining about Kuva Liches and convert a ARMY, cause you'll need a big crew for Empyrean and it's expansion that comes out next year.

    Weapons, what I recommend
Your only line of defense between you and the enemies are your weapons. Get the cold weapons first, they are a saving grace against Ramsleds and crewships. As for mark... start out with what you get, then go straight for MK 3 when you're able to.

    Closing note
As I conclude this long guide, I hope to see you all out in space and fighting those pesky grineer, and getting ready to fight in The New War. But wait... am I forgetting something? That's right, Avionics!

    Avionics and you

Avionics are your mods for Railjack. The ones I recommend getting are: Particle Ram, Void Cloak (Only available in the veil as I learned the hard way), Bulkhead (Any house will do, but get Zekiti), Conic Nozzle (Again, Zekiti house buff is good), and lastly, ANY TURRET AVIONIC THAT INCREASES DAMAGE.

    Closing note for real
As I close out this long guide for real, please remember these 4 important tips:
    1. Get a good crew. A good crew will help you, even in the Veil.
    2. ALWAYS go back to the drydock to restock, you will not automatically restock upon zipping to another mission.
    3. ALWAYS refine before you go to another mission/back to the drydock. Auto refine is not a feature yet.
    4. Turn off Warframe's music, and put on some awesome music like Press Start Together from DAGames, Build our Machine from the same guy, Scatman's World by... just guess, or whatever you prefer. If you like Warframe's music track, then by all means, do what you will with the music.
I hope to see you space pirate ninjas out in space, fighting the grineer, and wish you luck on your grind! If you have any questions, either let me know in game or here! Happy hijacking, tenno!

  6. Welp... I just did Erra. Who knew it was a main quest? And who knew Lotus/Natah had a brother? After seeing/experiencing this... It makes me want to get our mother back even more... And also build the sweet Arm-cannon (Shedu) that came with it. Has a fulmin-kinda vibe, and I have a feeling it'll prove useful in The New War. Now... Erra... I want you to know this: I've been missing The Lotus for while now... and i'm going to make you PAY for taking her away from us!

  7. On 2019-11-29 at 12:04 PM, NinjaZeku said:

Just a stab in the dark, did you run out completely before that,
and then maybe not actually re-equip the new Cipher stack in your Gear wheel?

No, like, I have 20, and when I enter a mission, bam, I got 0

  8. I love using my Kitguns to launch any enemy away. However, it works best with the Corpus cause seeing their limbs stretch out is so hilarious. Maybe this could turn into a mod where if you aim at the feet, the corpus turn into a torpedo and can punch through at least 3 enemies before stopping. That would be great to see.
