  1. Basically what Rikov said, also you can get credit boosters from rare crate (which are found most but not always in raids), so I really won't recommend buying some unless if you plan to do some heavy credit farming.

And if you need more help with anything, it would be better to go to the Players Help section than general discussion.

  2. If my information is correct DE stated that they do not want to institute an official auction house for the problems listed above. There are however, a couple of unofficial sites you can list items on.

They never said that, but they did say they wanted to rework Trading in general, as really it's a whole mess with people dumping messages half the length of the chat box and pushes all the 1 line messages out of the way which causes nobody to see what you want to sell or buy and you're forced to wait 2 minutes, which is horrible.

Also those sites have their own problem, as if you want to buy something you have to wait that person is online to see that you want to buy their stuff, and since they're not official, any possible scam that happens on them can't be solved by DE themselves.

Auction house will really help players wanting to sell stuff without having to cut the blood flow to their mighty booty for typing the same stuff for hours, and actually play the game. And sure it may have it's negatives as somebody buying all the stock of one thing in the Market and making the price higher for it, but in my opinion the positives out weight the negatives of having an Auction House, and people have been asking for one since trading existed honestly.

  3. Man I don't want to be the one to tell you this, but is English your primary language?

On the serious matter tho, I'm disappointed not because the weapons deal millions of dmg (just get a banshee resonance for that honestly), but rather that most of the weapons are just copy and paste of weapons that were already OP.

Hek? Why? We had stuff like the grinlok (which match the vaykor marelok) or many other grineer's weapons that could be used. Also it can't use the syndicate mod made for it.

The boltor is slightly weaker than the boltor prime, latron could have been a nice choice honestly.

The simulor makes no sense as the simulor already did belong to another syndicate.

Red veil Cernos is actually great, it isn't overpowered yet at the same time can match up to the power of the dread / paris prime, great alternative for a player who likes bows but feels tired of using the same bow.

Secura penta feels out of place.

And New loka is straight up powercreeping.

  4. At MR18 and with 47 days worth of hours in WF (non-steam) PvP is impossible for me, constant jumping, constantly getting killed, tried all the weapons that were available to me from latron wraith to prisma gorgon to boltor p, soma p, or whatever you want to name, I can't kill one thing.

Actually I like using frost p in PvP because of the people that just keep trying to melee non-stop in your face, chill them down with the passive.

  5. The energy system is already basically trivialized by what we already have in game, but I was mainly against it because it would be another one of those mods that you are sort of 'forced' to use, like the weapon damage and multishot mods. It wouldn't break the game, it would just become another loadout requirement that reduces choice because of how powerful it is compared to other mods.

After reading more, I can see why primed streamline can be beneficial yet at the same time would just destroy balance we have (do we really even have balance in WF lol?)

Well back to hyping myself up for the sniper buff for U18.

  6. You know I never understand people against primed streamline, the efficiency cap will still be 75%, the amount of fusion cores spent is actually doubled since fusion cores give only half of their full potential because of the fusion system, causing a legendary mod that should cost 264 R5s to max cost 528 R5s! Also there's no guaranteed way to farm that many cores, if I remember correctly, starchat has a 25% chance to drop R5s on rotations, while void was above 70% in T4 but now is around 35% because of Orokin Cells.

"It's just going to allow you to spam more" Man cmon, drop that bs argument, 75% cap, remember?

"It's going to allow you to use a rank 7 blind rage now with max efficiency" And most likely kill all the other abilities of your frame and at the same time eat 4-5 out of 8 slots, only frame I can see benefit from this is mesa really.

I don't see how in co-op game, that primed streamline would break the game, especially when we got stuff way more broken (enemy's armor scaling for example).

  7. After seeing the reactions of when the tigris got the supposed alt-fire bug removed, it came up to me rather than removing it, it would be better to click M3 to change how you fire it.

Duplex-auto is something really unique about the tigris, but most enemies (even really high in the void) still don't need more than 1 shot to be dead, this causes me and I guess many other players to hold the M1 button until they find another target or just press reload.

So all I'm suggesting is that by pressing M3, you change from a duplex-auto to a singular shot and pressing it again changes it back to Duplex-Auto. The benefit that comes from that is that you're not forced to hold M1, removes the uncomfortable feeling you had when zooming in and pressing M3 to shoot one time (maybe it's just me but every time I did that my index and middle finger were literally touching each other).

TL;DR: Press M3 to change from Duplex-Auto firing to Singular Firing and pressing it again Changes it back to Duplex-Auto.

  8. So is it just me that has been experiencing freezing when opening navigation/options/getting invited to a squad since U17?

That problem was there but it was gone around U16.9 - U16.11 and when U17 dropped, it came back.

I've lost trades offers, or joining my teammates in-time and it's really getting out of hand here :/.

  9. The way it works now is you can use any melee weapon you want, with the added diversity of choosing to use syndicate augments on several of those weapons to give Exalted Blade an energy or health boost, along with viral, corrosive, or blast AoE. The choice is yours.

The way it will work with the coming change is you really won't need anything other than the free skana. Why?

Because Exalted Blade has always been better than any normal melee weapon. Not just that, but EB draws from the melee weapons mod selection. And, if you're not modding for EB, then there's really no reason to play Excal.

Skana or Dragon Nikana? It won't matter in a week or two. You can just stay with the free Skana, mod it for EB, mod Excal with Steel Charge plus max efficiency to keep EB up for 40+ minutes straight, do tons of damage, and not worry about crafting anything new because it won't be any better than that.

Honestly any players using a skana/EB combo is most likely a new player and doesn't have a good build neither on their Excal or their weapons.

While you won't be able to make your EB better, I'm liking the fact that I can pick a weapon like ack and brunt and not worry about losing some mere damage. Does it really matter in the end? For me, most likely not, as I've been able to do 80 minutes on T3S with EB only with or without the augments.

  10. OMG/.

You are not forced to use anything. They are taking away diversity. Do you not understand that.

Look man, you're trying to deny the obvious. The fact that those augments are weapon specific makes you not choose any other weapon that doesn't have them. You want some health and a viral proc? Great, the negative part is that you're forced to only choose one of the 3 skanas and throwing away tons of other melees.

You can say "But EB only relies on any mods on my weapon and not the weapon itself" but one of those mods is weapon-specific, making you take a specific weapon with you, something EB was NEVER intended to do in the first place.

  11. I don't need either. I can keep EB up for the entire mission, do tons more damage, and be a better help to the team.

By the time energy drain were to become a problem, switching to scindo is going to feel like using a skana.

    So your argument is invalid.

You can deny it all you want but you get more diversity from choosing any melee weapons than just 6.

EB was meant to not rely on a specific weapon(s) (it was even said when the rework was released), and weapon-specific augments indirectly forces a player to CHOOSE a SPECIFIC WEAPON.

  12. The EB change in regard to syndicate mods will not increase weapon diversity and here's why. A max efficiency Excal build can keep EB going from start to finish in any mission. From wave 0 to wave 40 is no problem. You only need one energy orb every 30 seconds or so to keep it going. For endless mission types, by the time energy drain does become a problem, switching to your normal melee weapon is just about useless against mobs of such high level enemies.

Using the syndicate augments with EB brings much needed diversity. Between the Skana, Prisma Skana, Dual Cleavers, Prisma Dual Cleavers, and Mire you're able to choose whether you want health or energy, and whether you want viral, corrosive, or blast AoE. It's something totally worth pursuing.

Without the syndicate augments, players don't need anything but the free Skana they were given at the beginning of the game. You don't need Dakra Prime, Dragon Nikana, or anything else because your choice of weapon doesn't matter now. The effect is the same. There is no diversity. It's a one size fits all build regardless of weapon.

That's one bad argument, since now you can decide to equip ANYTHING, let me ask you this, would rather take a skana or a scindo prime to a T4S? You were limited to only choose 6 weapons (And seriously, only 2 of them were good by themselves), now you can have a choice to pick from over 75 melees weapon.

  13. Actually I'm fine with the EB change, sure I won't enjoy my skana/dual cleaver augments, BUT, the main thing EB was trying to do is to not rely on ANY SPECIFIC weapons, but with it taking effect of any mods on your weapon, it forced players to utilize only the prisma skana/skana/skana prime or the Dual Cleaver/Prisma Dual Cleaver. That's way less than what Valkyr has available to choose to boost her damage.

So EB does what it was intended to do, not force a player into a specific build.

What I'm mad tho, is that only 2 weapons are viable for finishers and neither of them are fast enough on both side. Those 2 weapons are 1 handed swords, which the back finisher is way faster than the front finisher. Or the 1 handed dagger, which the frontal finisher is slightly faster than the back finisher.

And we've been asking to change the finisher button to the action button (X by default on PC) rather than the melee button for months now. Sure we like destroying a lvl 100 corrupted bombard with a finisher, but it's a waste of time doing one on a corrupted butcher.

  14. It really depends. Triton can be great with a nice team setup (I just use frost and amprex if I want to solo), but you can end up with a lot of 2500 credit caches.

I've remarked that high tier missions like dark sector survival on Pluto or grineer survival on Ceres can give you a lot of R5s, they're great places if you want to solo.

Another great place tho has been nerfed with Orokin Cells, is T3/T4 void (Best are defense, survival, and interception from experience).

When Ash prime was released, I had near 400 R5s, and by the end of the week, I had near 950 R5s, most of them were from the T3S and Triton.

It's all based on RNG, so just keep trying until you succeed, keep switching the mission so you don't feel burned out by farming them.

  15. Tonkor's Advantage:

    - High Base dmg

    - High crit chance

    - Self Damage that could kill you is non-existent

    - You can predict where your shots will land.

    - Because of High damage, you can sacrifice mods for utility mods (more ammo, faster fire rate etc etc)

    - Uses the sniper ammo (Tho that shouldn't be a problem to refill since you'll kill most of the room with one magazine)

    Tonkor's Disadvantage:

    - Only 2 grenade per mags

    - Grenade must hit the enemy to detonate or will detonate after 5 seconds or if you or an enemy steps on it (meaning it will hurt you when you miss your shoots.

    - Grenade can go between enemies leg, which can piss you off at moment you want the thing to blow in somebody's face.

You can bypass the detonate time with a specific Zephyr's build*

    Let's go over the Tigris.

    Tigris' Advantage:

    - Highest Damage of all shotguns

    - High Status Chance

    - Unique shooting system (Duplex-Auto)

    - Over 75% of it's base damage is slash, meaning it can benefit from the Slash Event mod.

    - Low spread and great accuracy.

    - Because of it's high damage, great ammo economy.

    - Thanks to the unique system, you can decide if you want to shoot 1 or 2, making you not waste all the ammo on a weak enemy.

    - IT'S A BOOMSTICK MAN.

    Tigris' Disadvantage:

    - Low magazine size

    - Unique shooting system forces you to hold down Mouse 1 if you want to shoot only 1 ammo (this can be bypassed by clicking mouse 3 but there's a delay between shots)

    - You'll need to reload after every shots most of the time

    - Missed shots hurt your DPS.

    - Has no innate punchthrough, combined with low ammo per magazine and a 1.8 second reload time, you'll feel like a punchthrough would be needed to face off groups of enemies.

    - Has low Puncuture/Impact damage, making fighting the grineer/corrupted grineer troops a problem.

So, what's the best out of both? Really, neither, both have their ups and down, it all comes down to your play style, they have great damage, making them beast in high-tier / end-game content. Do you want to kill groups of enemies with one click? Tonkor is for you then. Do you want the Boomstick and 1 hit anything in your way? Tigris is for you then.

    - *(Here's the Zephyr video in-case you want to bypass the detonate time for Tonkor)

  16. 3. Yeah you can try to take something from equinox there, a version of it where in can do it without the beast form and one with the beast form, you decide if you want the version without beast form to be a weaker or a different version of it.

    4. If you plan to make him go fully melee, then you'll need to think a little about his combo stance, you can give him combos that allow him to have ranged attacks, since this frame is based off infested design, you can try to give something similar to the Tar Moas or the Torid's grenade.

    5. A problem with the feeding is that infested corpses go out in as soon as you kill them, wouldn't it be better to just base it off kills? Or you can make it as soon as he kills an enemy while his 4 is on, his armor absorbs the enemy he kills. It wouldn't slow him down and at the same time would accomplish the devour part. Also your 3 sounds like a single person attack, so finisher damage should be ok imo, but it makes sense a little since you're biting them and giving them bleed damage, something that ignores armor.

    6. The augment for his 4 can either be based on doing something devour does, which is devour enemies, rather than waiting for 5 minutes, you can rather make him gain 5-10 armor per enemies he devours and gives him 1/2/3% of the thorn effect.

    7. I just thought MR10 was high that's all, you don't have to make him MR locked, you can maybe just MR lock the quest or the boss map you get his parts from. Not that I have a problem since I'm MR16 currently, but I would think new players would like to try the new frame, even if they can't play the quest until a certain MR, they can dish out platinum to play the frame.

He just needs some tweak there and there.
