Yes. If you want something actually hard, do an endurance run or play a different game.

That's part of the nice thing about Steel Path; enemy levels start much higher, so you get to higher levels faster on endurance runs.

No need to suggest a cliche proposal, it just comprimises Warframes overall flaws in regards of gameplay mechanics. I play any whenever suits me.

It pains me when the best movement I see in any game has a mediocre enemy would be a tear jerker.

In conclusion "Hard Mode" (Steel Path)  enemies are "Hard" to kill. Specially, when 1 normal enemy takes 3-5 min to kill is unheard of unless it's (Wolf of Saturn Six)

    • Time to kill and time to complete may take double the value when compare to a normal game mode. ( Feeling of rather playing 2 games than 1 hard mode vibe.)
    • If theres no damage scaling then Lvl 9999 enemies would be a LVL Fodder
    • I like the implement restrcitions.

Pretty much the game is not final, and my understanding of "Hard Mode" is different the way it meant. I hope this game mode doesn't lead to burnout.

It's called "hard" mode, not "challenge" or "impossible" mode. DE's goal is to give players higher level missions they can play for some special rewards, nothing more. This isn't supposed to be truly difficult or endgame content.

Ahh thats why they called it Steel Path because it isn't really called a "Hard Mode" which is not even hard to begin with.

What you are asking for is "Instant Death Mode". You are welcome to make your suggestion in the appropriate forum.

Thats the reason being it's Hard mode because their being challenge which closest to almost impossible game mode to finish.

(Specially in Survival Runs: Best Run In Hard Mode Survival is nice way to brag how skillfull you are in Warframe.)

I'm suggesting a reasonable damage scale that can finish a game with a sweat of players barely winning the node.

Almost like Dark Souls Vibe 😄

  4. Lately I've seen test clusters Hard mode which enemies made them only "CHUNKY/ BEEFY" despite enemy damage aren't doing anything at all.

(I'd rather have their damage scales and a normal health and armor scaling. Since it's much better that way.)

I'm suggesting a reasonable damage scale that can finish a game with a sweat of players barely winning the node.

Title. In over 20 years of video-games i never found a more frustrateing game experience then the experience warframe has.
If you are not a hardcore dedicated Warframe Player who sleeps in the forums and on reddit this game is barely playable:

I cant even imagine how "casual players" can finish anytthing in this game? I wouldnt call my self casual, since i study the wiki about mods, and searching "meta builds".... But I still cannot complete anything in this game without need to google video guides.... Everytime i want to play Warframe for some hours i have to prepare days of video guides to even get started....

    Current Examples:

    • Railjack missions (you need to know exactly what u are doing or you will fail)
    • Nightwave 3 - The Clue Search/Puzzle game. Even with watching a video guide took me like 10 hours to solve the puzzle
    • Nigthwave Any Weekly Mission.
      • Fish Rare fish... (I spend all my faction points to buy bait catched for 2 hours fish at the Lake every guide telling me... only to find out after 2 hours i still didnt got ONE single rare fish out of the 6)
      • Hydralist? Never seen one, Never fighted one, Dunno how to fight one.
    • Kuva Lich content.
      • still dunno how it works even after hours of video watching and wiki reading.

It feels like DE just want to rush content to confuse players.... And specialy the nightwave... Why i am forced to play Warframe as my 2nd Job just to get an umbral forma... And why the Nightwave missions are extremely unclear on what to do? And How to do it? Why they dont design Nightwave arround Content that Everybody can clear and understand?

    Good Examples:

    • Elite Weeklys:
      • Survive 90 minutes in a survival mission
      • Open 50 Relicts
      • Finish a Defence Mission Wave 50
      • Kill 10.000 Corpus

For the love of god, please stop us to force to play the game like you want to play it... I hate the complete open world content since its super confusing and random. Give me other Nightwave missions instead!!! Or give an alternative Way to Farm Umbra Forma or Buy/Trade them with Platin. I only want ONE single Umbra Forma... ONE just one... but i will never get it... Its impossible to archive with the current system. And i am not even a casual player as i explained in the beginning...

Piece of advice welcome to grinding game just wait on how they'll implement new player experience.

Except the price is already low enough as is.

You are pretending that there is some great demand for the outdated syndicate weapons. I just sent out a message in trade chat. People were willing to sell me the rakta cernos for 5 plat.

Nobody cares about that stuff anymore. Nobody. The stuff that people do care about isn't tradeable.

Except nobody said free. You are aware DE gets most of its plat from cosmetics, and new warframes yeah? Prime Access, and Prime accessories is where they get their big money.

Now unless you work for DE, and you know exactly how they are barely scraping by on money, and the syndicate weapons are the only thing getting them by, don't pretend like you know.

Arcanes, (from eidolons) prime gear, and fashion frame is what gets the most plat.

No matter if it's 1% the revenue is still there. Do you know how much platinum (£3.99 per 75 platinum) specially when players kept saving platinum themselves  Some people are forced to buy them to keep economy moving. Removing time gate means. No platinum for players relying of selling items in the syndicate. Which arcanes has value in them. Ant it means no free platinum

  7. 20 hours ago, (PS4)UltraKardas said:

Yes. Within weeks instead of years.

So people can get items sometime this century in fact. Syndicate weapons aren't worth a 5-10 day grind. Tenno schools are largely a massive grind that nobody bothers with. How does your tenno school focus look?

Have you unbound all the passive nodes yet? How long have they been out? The time gating is too much at this point in the game.

Your perspective in Warframe would destroy the value of items in game. Spoiling players giving rewards for free without any return for the developer is not gonna happen

You must pay platinum or grind the items which is a fair trade.

Compare to a Pay- to -Win game. Your only option is to pay money.

  8. So do you want for DE to remove all the time gate? Then all the player can take all the items winthin weeks for free?

The game was meant for you to spent Platinum or Grind as the other option. Since most of the faction Items are tradable.

Before there was no time gate in Warframe yet people exploit it to earn XXXXXXXXX reputation point in 1 day.

Void has popup obstacles. We just need something like Rush in a Void node with a high density of popup obstacles.

EDIT: The Lua speed test is filled with these and Tenno flypaper. Try that out as a "mini game"?

Sadly thats what we have. I wish it had mainstream as a game mode but since it's lacking of obstacle (immersion) throughtout the map.

What's on my mind was an obstacle goes upwards (vertical) a timer mode where some kind of nullifier exist, to prevent skill being used often as a way to balance the game. This way the game doesn't always look flat in my opinion.

  10. I'd like the idea of a new game mode in star chart where not always shoot and kill (still relavant but..

I somehow want to see the potential on what exactly "Movement Mechanics" in Warframe can bring us afar.

Most of us maybe watch the gameshow called "Ninja Warriors" I'd like to use is as reference, not because to copy it. But instead to find ways make the game more fun and challenging and engaging to play. You see I play Counter Strike where people in the community server plays Bunny Hopping, Surfing  Zombie Mode, and etc. Which it's pinnacle of arcade inside of an FPS game.

We have obstacle course in the clan but not as a mode by itself.

When starting a game starting the game. A certain obstacle course was chosen at random it could be 5 maps (max). To avoid burnout and repeteviness. Similar to a mission mode reward. Rewards are always at the end of the course. I'd like to expand the idea but enemies still can implement the game as a distraction or ways to disrupt your movement.

  11. As the title mentioned. DEVS should be focusing on Universal Rewards to spent, like in the Scarlet Spear, for example.

Items I considered to be a universal rewards are...

    • Forma BP/Exilus
    • Kuva
    • Nitain Extract
    • Boosters
    • Mods
    • Orokin Catalyst/ Reactor
    • Generic/ Staple  Mods
    • Endo
    • Relic Packs
    • Item Slots (e.g Warframe & Weapon Slots)
    • Rare Resources
    • Ayatans

Feel free to give any info on why they wouldn't do somthing like this, which I can only think about is that, some of them are being spent on plat. But increasing the spent required will avoid spending it too much.

    Armor scaling-fixed

    Enemy aimbot-fixed

    Mod balancing and status balancing/refreshing-done

And all the other stuff with arcanes and other gameplay mechanics changes, i love it!

The game looks a lot smoother and better now

I am especially happy with the status changes

Melee is now more versatile, i can have different build choices and styles

Status Shotguns don't have just have this one 100% status build for slash...instead you can use forgotten mods like physical damage mods to prioritize your damage type

Shield gating is live and well, and actually saved me countless times, and it made shield recharge and shield mods in general useful again

On the other side, corpus enemies finally have a way to defend themselves

Shield is still weaker than armor for corpus, but at least it works when you don't  headshot

It just seems like DE are heading towards a good direction finally, and with all the complaints there is...we should also appreciate them trying to fix and polish things...even after very long time of wait

    Good job you guys!

I appreciate what they did, but those are necessity and no-brainer to be fixed since player have been complaining dmg scaling for years now, but content wise is rather slow.

When Covid-19 is around I wonder , how fast they'll drop update frequently.

depends on how much DE could be bothered to write about the weapon at the time, a lot of newer weapon descriptions just mention how deadly they are, or any abilities linked to warframes (signature weapons. there are some good examples from older weapons though, such as:

    - Ether blades being considered the most humane way to kill infested allies, due to the clean cuts they deliver.

    - Atterax was/is used by Grineer as a form of capital punishment, used in severe cases of disobedience to deliver a slow and painful death to the accused.

    - Serro was designed as an energy saw for scrapping old ships, but was banned after rebels on Sedna started using them against the grineer.

    - Quanta and Spectra both are not designed as weapons, but as tools for mining, but are lethal enough to use as weapons.

sometimes though, all you need to actually know is what a weapon fires/does and that alone can make up your mind whether you'll like it or not.

Yep I'm aware they have lore in them. However, as I said those weapons are mostly Faction based, and it's significant to tell which maker or manufacturer of these weapons. Likely it's easy to add flavour text onto these weapons and be simply called, ferocious and deadly.

Imagine creating a weapon quest focus on, the warriors of the Old War like. The Mercinary "Ordan Karris" (Cephalon Ordis) and his weapon of mass genocide. For me, it would be a great idea to add as a side content.

From what I figure, they couldn't make quest like these, because theres a paywall on most of the weapons in the game, and clearly thats the reason on whats stopping them.

I played Skyrim a lot. Weapons there have similar issue (faction based) "Empire and Stormcloacks" but... Apart from the factions, they have. Heroes, Ancient, Elves, Dragons, Gods, and etc. Some of these weapons have a huge significance on how it was made, and most of them was purely made to stand out above the rest.

I really like to imply this type of system, because weapons in Warframe right now is utterly dull, unique but not special like some enemies would use it. I really like how the Paracesis since it's the only weapon can shreds sentients faster.

  14.  I'm aware that some guns in Warframe has lore applied. Although, all the weapons are lacking in originality and has some reccuring theme to them (Faction based)

Apart from signature weapons ei: Octavia's (Tenora & Pandero) are exempition, since it's base on the Warframes design.

I'd like to see more weapons similar to Paracesis, which the quest is solely focus only on the weapon and it tells more about the lore and its usage. I'd like them to widen the lore a bit more not only just revolving around 4 main diffrent factions.

The universe is massive and some wepons are yet to be discovered. It'doesnt need to be in a faction, it could be a some random person made a weapon of mass-destruction.

It could be something like: According to the legends gathered from an old Corpus Scientist. Beyond the deep abyss of the rocks, a glowing element found below the darkest night of the sea...

Just imagine holding a weapon used by the gods in war.
