  1. Welcome, Playstation Nation! Can't wait to slash some Grineer with you!

PC players, we have a wonderful opportunity and responsibility here...We need to make make the PSN players feel welcome! Bring them in and help them in way we can!

  2. I like it ). If the engine cannot make a lot of civilians at the same time we could run and rescue them for 3-5 per group. As we find the first group,we will have to escort them to extraction, after that we will have to seek for more groups of survivors.

That's actually a really good idea to compensate if the engine can handle a larger number on screen. Thank you for that!

Id like it but only if civvies get sucked out of the window if I break it on a ship. Hehe, I am so evil...

Or maybe have a choice, so that, when you shoot the civvies, the corpus or grineer pay you something, but not as good if you evacuate the ship, shooting the innocents would be easier though.

Yes, I know, Lotus would maybe not be happy, but the the payment is for the Tenno cause right?

Remember, the Tenno's cause is to restore balance, and in this mission type the Lotus would scrub the mission if too many civilians were lost!

  3. I'd rather have them follow same path and defend them from sides like hacking turrets to aid them, or searching for power cells to activate laser walls to keep infested from overrunning them.

I feel like using terminals to activate certain things such as turrets and scrounging for useful items like you said would be a great idea!

Also...I am so sorry. This thread belongs in Concepts.

  4. Just thought of this in my spare time. New Mission: Evacuation.

For this mission type, the Lotus would task the Tenno with aiding in the evacuation of civilians from a damaged and/or infested colony, research, or possibly rebel ship. The civilian AI would work similarly to hostage AI, where they would stay close to the nearest Tenno, but instead of one captive, there would be numerous people that the Tenno would need to extract from the ship all at once. The civilians would also follow the closest Tenno who is actually pushing toward the extraction zone

Perhaps instead of hacking terminals to free people from rooms, the Tenno would have to either clear wreckage or find and activate some kind of fire suppression system to clear a path for escaping civilians. To mix things up, perhaps even have a bomb that the Tenno would need to disable while trying to rescue the occupants of the ship.

Granted, I'm not certain how many civvies the engine could handle running around at one time, but I feel that evacuating a ship in peril would be a much greater experience if there were a lot people scrambling around the corridors, avoiding Grineer or Corpus gunfire, or the claws of the Infested.

The play spaces would be large and multi-tiered.The missions would yield greater rewards based on how many civilians the players are able to bring to the extraction point (or maybe escape pods/life boats?). However, the Lotus would scrub the operation if the Tenno lost a certain number.

On the more difficult variations of Evacuation missions, after escorting civilians to the extraction zone, the Tenno would have to hold off waves of enemies while escape pods or life boats loaded and disembarked from the ship. The loss of a vessel would result in mission failure.

What do you guys think? Discuss.

  5. Did a nurse just tell me to cut off my own finger ? What kind of nurse are you ?

A Tenno nurse. Just send me the finger and 4000 Ferrite and I'll get to work.

I'm now waiting for that one person to say "Nursing is for girls!" so I may laugh at said person.

    P.S Congratulations on being accepted!

I am too :p Then I shall go look at the 96% employment rate and chuckle some more! Thank you!

    Congratulations!

    Thanks!

  6. Couldn't help myself...as the title states, I've just recently received my acceptance letter from the nursing school program I had applied to!

It's been an uphill journey, but I have been blessed...it's a very competitive program and to be admitted into the program is a personal achievement of mine. I can't wait to see what's next! My plan as of right now is to specialize in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. I'd be working in an ER at a children's hospital.

I also want to do flight nursing. They're the guys who retrieve and work on patients on the Life Flight helicopters, but a few years of working in the ED (ER) and sometimes the ICU are required before you can do that.

That's one of the many reasons I chose nursing, the career mobility.

I'll be starting in January, and this is where I must bring some bittersweet news...

Come January, I may not be seen on Warframe for quite a while, nursing school has quite the reputation for being time and energy demanding, so if I do not see my fellow players and awesome people over at Digital Extremes for a while, know that you are all awesome, and I am proud to have been able to be a part of and support this community and the development of your amazing game!

  7. Okay there's something I been trying to figure out here, if there's no longer gonna have warframe primes anymore on the first of November, why not have a final special mission on the last day of October before all the primes are gone meaning this special mission is that once you finish the mission you win and get (they come out random) one of the primes frame as a reward like a goodbye gift on they're last day. Its a win win for everyone!!!

Look what I'm trying to say is that if they're gonna have no longer prime frames they should make a mission like that time with Frost prime where everybody got to have him for free (I think if I remember correctly) because think about it lets say we got some brand new players and that they never actually got a prime frame before because its they're first time and later they find out that there's no longer prime frame because they shut down the primes and everything so what i'm trying to say is that before they close it down why not a final special mission and when you finish you get to have one of the warframe primes as a farewell goodbye gifts so that new players don't have to worry about not having a warframe prime on they're first time playing and nobody hads to whine about anymore.

Plus yesterday I was playing warframe then two players comes in who are actually believe it or not "new" players worrying and talking about not having a prime because "1" they don't have real money(because maybe they don't have a credit card) "2" they sounded acted like 13 years old kids whining. Hell I even try to like give them friendly advice on where to find them and told them "it doesn't matter if you don't have one of the prime what really matters is just to have fun and be happy & be proud that you're playing a great game" and one of them said that thanks yet he still seem sad in his other words after replying to my advice.

And after having that small experience made me felt like I was a big brother who couldn't help his little brothers/sisters today all because of a freaking warframe primes are shutting down. So just to get to my point why can they just give one to absolutely everybody to make everyone happy or at least put them in a special mission to obtained them on the last day of October like a goodbye gift?!

The Prime weapons and warframe that come with the Founder's package should always remain exclusive to the people who believed in DE and Warframe the most and put their hard-earned money into the game to push it forward by purchasing the Founders packages. They are the only ones who are entitled to those items.

I'm sorry, but people arguing that it isn't fair that everyone else can't have Founders gear without being a Founder is ridiculous. What's next, are people going to start complaining that it isn't fair that everyone can't be on the Design Council? If you wanted "supporters only" items, then you should have taken the opportunity to become a supporter while the offer lasted. That isn't DE's fault, nor their responsibility. If you invest in a project that needs money to keep going, you should be allowed to have a say in it, if you choose not to invest, then you shouldn't complain. If DE wishes to allow people into the Design Council on other merits after the Founders Package has gone away, that's completely up to them.

  8. the more confusing fact is that if you preorder warframe on the psn you get a few things for preordering most you get

same as pc when you first start.

    20,000 credits

exclusive psn skin for m1- braton

    50 platinum

And it says to start people off.

Maybe this is sony saying their point or decision, or perhaps its sony giving new players a chance....or something.

    wats everyone else think?

It's meant to introduce an entirely new playerbase (the PS4 crowd) to Warframe with an enticing package. I'm personally completely supportive of that package. I'm happy with all of my Founders goodness, which I will hopefully be able to bring to my PS4.
