    Damaging zone in a Spy Vault in a new Corpus Ship maps

    This hidden side-room on screenshot damages both frame and pet when stepped on the darker part of the floor and drops either outside of the room no matter from which side it's stepped on.

    Note: I've opened wall in this room before hacking the vault and I think it worked fine, but am not sure.

    Setup:
    Config A: Any mod upgraded to max capacity ([Constitution] in the video, 7 capacity with polarity)
    Config B: Any mods which leave slightly less capacity than enough to fit mod from Config A (6 capacity left in the video) + not fused copy of the same mod from Config A.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open Mods in the Warframe's Upgrade menu.
    2. Select unfused copy of the mod ([Capacity] in this example).
    3. Add more levels to it, but within capacity of the config it's used in (Config B in this example).
    4. Apply Fusion.

    Expected: Mod is fused just fine.

    Observed: Game tells that mod will exceed capacity of Config A and prompts to uninstall it even though another fully leveled copy of the same mod is already in there and it removes that copy.

    I've used it a bit to get my 6688 (which I got by occasionally playing) to 8888 and honestly you don't need to go any further anyway and 8888 is quite easy to get just by playing RJ 2-3 times a day. Yep, I haven't played it much. Ranks 9 and 10 provide very mediocre bonuses, so whoever spent hours farming them is not "far ahead of the game". They just got their hands on a few questionable bonuses which doesn't worth to get or doesn't even work properly.

    Even 8888 is not that important unless you really want all the bonuses for archwing. What you _really need_ and what determines outcome of the RJ missions when you play them with your own ship is Vidar Reactor with 70+ capacity, good guns and avionics. If you have that you can play with 3-5 levels in all intrinsics just fine (you have to reach rank 7 in one skill to access the Veil, though).

    I do understand the desire to "max out" everything and I like to do things like this myself, but in case of avionics it isn't important. They provide only a little "progression" and last 2 ranks are pretty much useless.

    Besides, abort farming intrinsics is boring as hell. It's one of the best ways in warframe to burn out (right after farming Vidar Reactor... 4% drop at mission end, lol) and not play Warframe for a long while. Just play the game and eventually you'll get that 4x10, seriously. It totally worthless, but whatever. Personally I don't plan to invest any intrinsics into remaining levels until I secure another 255 for 5th one, so I'll have 88888 or higher when it will be released.

  4. Well, I got all mine last x-mas, so I wouldn't expect new ones any time soon. If they send it soon then awesome, but that's about it. It isn't in the list of things you bought with Prime Access/Vault, so they don't even have to send them to us as I understand. Yet they do!

    Um... yea DE, can we have energy sword back, please? This Skana with effects just doesn't cut.

    Also, PLEASE disable Radial Blind on slide and make casting it normally with 2 cost half of the energy when you sliding if you wish to keep this energy discount at all. Not like it's needed anyway. It's just awful to use his blade in a close combat since sliding constantly triggers radial blind and eats up energy in no time when you using it to move around between enemy groups. It's on 2 anyway, so we can cast it when we actually need it.

    Ye, I can relate. Some of new styles are actually nice, but I'd like to use one of the old onces... but they don't place nice with new accessories. Seems like they ignore that old hairstyles exist. Even during the recent stream they only shown these parts against single new hairstyle (and it works, as I thought). Hope they will come around eventually, though.

    no really. hair blocks the aures energy parts if it is in any way behind it (even though as you can see, the aures parts are sticking out past the hair) and this prevents you from seeing it through the hair in the event it is covered up by it in any way, or even if you just wanna look at it from the side. this essentially forces you into a hair style with shaved sides if you want to view the item you paid for.

    Have you tried with the "new" hairstyles? I've noticed this bug long ago since they implemented first "glass" operator things. They disappeared in front of old hairstyles, but work fine with the new ones. Something tells me DE doesn't want to deal with old hair model. 😕

    Well, damn. Forgot about those and also Tennocon stuff. You can't get the latter even with money if you came too late. Beside that there are two types of prime extraction drones (I don't recall a way to get blueprint in the game) and 1 extra slot for extraction drones for those who paid at least for something. Don't recall exact details on that one. And there is a bonus Orbiter decorations for those who buy prime frames. Once per year during the New Year even you get a package of miniature figurines of prime frames with these wobbly heads which you bought during that year. In-game you can only get figurines of normal ones. And we have the famous Excalibur Prime which nobody beside those who got him at launch would be able to obtain ever. Well, the last one doesn't really coun't/matter.

    So, ye, would be really great if there would be a way to obtain at least these armors in game.

    Technically everything in the game (with exception for Tennogen items "thanks" to Valve >_<) can be obtained in game for free. The point is that it is not free for everyone. Someone still have to spend real money to buy plat to add it into ecosystem. Others can trade items for plat and spend plat however they wish, though. In comparison to many other f2p games this one is quite fair, I'd say. Majority don't let you trade anything important like good items or "premium" currency and Warframe is a nice exception. It still not really free to play as for everyone and on that I agree, but for majority it is.

    I do agree that in perfect f2p everything should be obtainable in-game and shouldn't take eternity at that and that "cosmetic" items are the same content as everything else (and actually do affect satisfaction from the game quite noticeably), but we ain't living in the perfect world yet. 😕

    Dear DE,

    Could you please make file optimization feature not require 20+ GB of free disk space? I've installed this awesome game on my SDD drive (for performance reasons) alongside with OS, however disk space there is very VERY limited. In fact right now I have there exactly 20 GB of free space and I have to use multiple different tools to remove temporary files created by system and browser just to be able to optimize game files. And it looks like soon I won't be able to use optimize feature and will have to reinstall game from scratch after each major update just to keep it in proper shape. The main offender here is file "F.TextureDx9.cache" which takes entire 22 GB of disk space and every time optimization procedure runs it have to write entire new copy of this file before removing the old one.

    Could you pelase split it in 4-6 parts to reduce disk cost of optimization feature? I do understand that a single file is a lot better from performance perspective than a folder with a few thousands separate files which it likely stores, but splitting it in 4-6 parts shouldn't affect performance in any significant way.

    Or at least let me set separate directory for temporary files on a different drive and use it when there are not enough space on the current one?

    Thanks for working on new features in the game, but please look at this issue.

    Why not vampire perk on everyone instead? Somehting like 0.5% of whatever damage you deal will heal you for a certain period of time. One tremendous mass-heal is barely useful to stay alive since you normally either not receiving any damage at all or have your own way of damage mitigation like one of the healing mods on a melee weapon. In both cases healing most likely will went off when everyone are on full health or slightly scratched instead of when it's actually needed. Or after charging it may act as Oberon's Phoenix Renewal and on receiving fatal damage prevent it and heal you while consuming this buff. Similar to an extra life in a way.

Apparently if you stay in the Orbiter during Nightwave refresh new challenges won't automatically apply and if you slot ayatans or polarize any slots that won't count toward new challenges since old are still active. Obviously going literally anywhere or simple re-login fixes this for a week, but it's still looks like a bug to me. 'cause I just slotted two ayatans and they didn't count. -_-

  13. Steps to reproduce:

    1. Go to Cetus.
    2. Initiate dialog with one of the characters (I picked Zaw master).
    3. Open chat, type [Zaw] and press enter (screen to select a Zaw will appear).
      At this point list of Zaws will be unaccessible due to dialog screen opened above it.
    4. Press Esc (this will close a dialog).
    5. Pick a Zaw or cancel (doesn't matter).

    Another way to reproduce:

    1. Finish any mission and extract.
    2. Do not close dialog screen with results of the mission, leave it on screen.
    3. Open chat (T) and link a [Zaw] or a [Riven].
    4. Close mission results (since it stays on top of dialog opened from chat and prevents interactions with it.
    5. Pick a Zaw or whatever were linked or just closed a dialog.

    Result: All controls are gone. The only remaining options are talk in chat and add people into your group through invite. Since it isn't possible to open menu it isn't possible to leave Cetus to reset this state. Only Alt+F4 and relogin helps.

    Probably scaling also involved, but nope, it is backwards. Amp supposed to be like a glowe. Operator puts hand through wider part while on a thinner side both weapons are fixed (scaffold above/behind the hand and prism unfolds from under the hand to front). Now look at Certus brace. Wider part through which operator supposed to put it on self is at the wrong side entirely!

  15. I think amalgam mods are really nice trade-off for good quality of life improvements which won't cost you a frame's slot.

    Extra speed for 155% damage on my rifle instead of 165%? Heck, I'll use this on every single weapon!

    Extra roll speed for 110% instead of 120% multishot and 2 more (formaed) capacity on my secondary? Maybe not as gladly, but absolutely for sure on my Ivara build. I mean rolling is the fastest way to move with her without breaking prowl and increasing roll speed is just amazing for her. Probably not as much for anyone else. Maybe for Limbo and Hyldrin for fun. My Gaze kitgun end up with 7 forma and 2 extra capacity left on it to fit everyting in, though. I'm not complaining.

    Much faster revive for a 5% less extra fire rate on my shotgun? Depends on am I using Shotgun Spazz in my build in the first place. It's perfect tradeoff, but mod itself is not used very often. Arca Plasmor, maybe? It's terribly slow as it is. I'd rather have a reload/fire rate dual mod for it, though. Because it's absolutely bloody terrible gun in it's current state even though it wipes entire rooms in a single shot.

    Amalgam Organ Shatter? Well, dunno. I haven't figured out what exactly it affects. As I understand charge attack is an attack which happens when you hold E, but it seems the same with and without this mod. At least on Zaws and Redeemer Primer which I tested so far. Thought it will make Redeemer even more broken than it already is, but haven't noticed any differentce. Dunno is this bonus broken or am I doing something wrong.However, on paper this bonus seems amazing since charge attacks are slow even if powerful. They open you up for incoming attacks, so speeding them up by 60% is an amzing trade-off if you using them. It may become the reason to use them in the first place and 85% instead of 90% crit damage multiplier is inconsequential even if you going into 500+ crit chance territory.

    You actually can try to pay a veteran with plat to join right now for the same result. In fact you can try to pay to donate into a clan vault metric tonns of stuff instead of for currently active projects which is my request. I haven't seen anyone doint that, though. I wonder why.

    My request is to be able to donate for active projects (and only these projects) in any clan. Not to the clan vault, but for currently active projects, so I can't donate enough for everything. So, if someone during trading stuff find a small, but cool dojo with a few active projects online, he may decide to help with some of these projects and move along.

  17. I trade from time to time and occasionally end up in some new player's dojos with half-build rooms without any or partial resources invested. I'd like to be able to help such players and just donate resources which otherwise just piling up in my pocket. However, right now I can't since I don't have permissions for that. I do understand that not having permission to start building something is totally ok since it isn't my dojo, but why I can't just drop a bunch of resources somewhere in the corner? 🙂

  18. I'm getting this bug at the entrance to Plains here (most often when external gate is open, but it happens with a closed gate as well):

    At odd intervals marked area ends up covered in blocky black panel like some parts of the frame didn't render at all. It lasts for 1-2 frames and then disappears to reappear in a second or two.

    Easy way to reproduce similar bug would be to take Synoid Simulor (white energy color) + Mirage, use Mirage's 1 and then shoot a whole clip right in front of Mirage. The most britghtest parts of the resulting globe of bright light would end up undenrered (black squares). Here is an example of Simulor at work: https://imgur.com/Q59dBan
