@Naftal Gave it a second go, it worked but i still think it is stupid that we have to cheese this stuff instead of earning a fair rate for playing or being able to get more for actively working towards getting it.

I tried the method and my result was that i killed everything in 5 min got 110(base) oxium stayed 10 min more did't see any more enemy's so last result was 110 for 15 min but for fairness sake lets call it 110(base) for 5 min. This method is ok speed, but i still would like to see more possible ways.

But do you want them ALL this very second..... no. In fact I doubt you even need vauban prime this very second either, I'm sure there are likely other frames etc you could do instead. It only seems high because you want it NOW rather than just getting it 'passively'. PS I hope you got that nitain stockpiled....20 nitain is usually more of an issue for most people
I can easily do a generic corpus map, not farming it, and come out with around 100 oxium without a booster, so you're clearly doing something wrong with your farming if you're only getting 30-400 with a booster.
Ofc i am not saying they should just hand over hand everything, main point in this post was the randomness of farming oxium staying in mission just to hope to get some random spawns that sometimes don't give you more than 2 sec to kill them before they self destruct and leave you with nothing. I wan't them to give us way to set out selves a goal and work towards it. What comes to Nitain it is not as bad because you can do a mission and you will get 1 Nitain also there is Cetus bounty that you can do for a chance to get Nitain. what comes to the difficulty of Oxium vs Nitain i have 30 Nitain in the bank and Vauban prime is the last thing that needs it that i have not built yet and at the same time i am 20k short of getting all the of the 59k i need. So i have farmed 150 Nitain faster than 59k Oxium.

I see, i farmed my oxiums long time ago and now im done with any farming anyway.

Just capture mission in jupiter or whatever, its endless and spawns enemies, lots of oxium with a proper group for loot.
I went over this in my post the method you describe was considered an exploit by Digital Extremes and was removed from the game with the Sacrifice patch.

Outside of vauban prime there isn't really much that needs 'large' amounts of oxium so like you say it's pretty easy to end up with a large stockpile at some point, think I'm sitting on 65k of the stuff at the moment and I'm not exactly a heavy player against corpus.
To the OP, galatea is still supposedly the place the go (haven't had to worry over for oxium for ages), just 'kill' the capture target but don't transfer him to the ship. Then go 'camping'.
this is how much everything in game cost Building: 39,098 Research: 20,010. That is hardly a small amount.

Go into a capture mission somewhere like Neptune, kill the capture target but don't capture it. There will be huge amount of spawns at that point and you should be getting oxium faster than anywhere else.
It is almost like I went over this in the post... Almost

I originally made this post and later realized that this sub forum would be more suited so I am going to leave the link to original post here rather than make new one.

If you wanted DE to see your post, this is the last place they would look at. XD
I think the point was so that they could add a degree of artificial rarity to Vauban, since his vanilla is pretty hard to get. Can't have your playerbase getting everything in a short snap anyway, stretches the game out and all that.
if they don't read their own forums then where else they would read this ?
Edit: Fixed it now this is linked to feedback section.

Hey guys!
I have been farming for Vauban prime chassis 7k Oxium now for 2 days 10h+ a day with booster and i am still only up to 5,5k Oxium this thing has to to change after [DE] changed Galatea on Neptune. Granted that was exploit but now we are left with no active way to farm for Oxium only way to get it is to sit in some endless mission and hope for Oxium Osprays to spawn and hope they don't go kamikaze the second they see you. Cause lord for bid they do you don't get anything. All this totals to 30 - 400 Oxium in half and hour while being bored out of your mind. We the players and the community understand you need to make somethings hard to earn, but what is not okay is the fact that we have no control over if we want to actively work towards our Oxium goal but instead we are being forced to the mercy of RNG. Now so that this post is not complete whining I want to make suggestion how to fix this
1. Make some of the excavation missions reward Oxium instead of Cryotic
2. Remove the Insultingly low amounts of endo drops from Defense and Infested salvage and replace them with Oxium
3. Make it obtainable in Venus open world with mining
I Hope this piece to be conversation opener and not be taken as an attack against the game. With all the love Gamegon.

Did they lower the Orokin Cells drop rate?
in General Discussion

I have been wondering the same thing after the Chimera patch I'v had either really bad luck or they have really Nerfed the drop rate. I'v tried farming Exta with little luck only 1 out of 3 runs has yielded Orokin cells and last night I did sulvival run in Gabii where I killed 6000 enemys solo with Nekros and only walked away with 2 cells and one of them was from an array. I think we should start a thread or a spread sheet to see how many people are getting average.
