  1. I traded something for a Tetra one that adds multishot and electricity damage, and now have 5 forma in my Prisma Tetra--which is probably my favorite primary in my 3 1/2 years of playing.

I'm happy to hear about your Rivens! The Tiberon is a fun weapon, and getting some nice mods for it (especially being your favorite) must feel good.

Also, +1 for your genuine and wholesome interest here, haha. I like this topic and the way you're handling it.

  2. Maps seem to have a rare chance of spawning random dead light units. On Corpus maps, it'll be a crewman.

They're more frequent on Invasions, since everybody is dying anyway. The orange sparkles give you credits or ammo: You're looting the body.

He does look like that subordinate though!

  3. Yeah man! This idea sounds really fun, in concept. I would imagine implementing it would show an array of difficulty: With mods like Serration, Split Chamber, and damage buffs from allies, healing weapons whose raw statistics function like our regular weapons could go through the roof. Imagine all the power of a Sancti Tigris or something, used to heal somebody...

On the same note, limiting healing weapons would probably be boring. A straight "100HP per hit" or "50HP/s in gas cloud" wouldn't scale very well.

Nonetheless, I'd imagine weaponry like this could make generally "solo" frames (like Limbo or Valkyr or Loki, who don't do a WHOLE lot directly for other players) more "useful."

Back in the old days Grineer used to do little conversations as well. It was repetitive, but added to the immersion especially if you decided to go stealth. Btw, "One of them is wearing a scarf." is a G3 quote, and I just heard it recently. Never heard Hyekka masters whistle though, it's quite awesome. :D

"Hey, leave my mother out of this."

    "Stay close to the walls."

  5. OP could have something going on here...

I forget where, but I remember a theory about the Zariman adults transforming/being transformed into the Warframes. That would include our Operator's dad. Either way, this leaves us with four voice lines:

Father: "Something is out there, kiddo, watching us."
Chaotic path: "Hey kiddo, what took you so long?"
Neutral path: "Don't forget, kiddo, you're nothing without me."
Peaceful path: "You mad at me, kiddo? Did you forget? You owe me."

I noticed here the more chaotic pathways lead to friendlier voice lines at the end. A violent end to the Zariman adults is confirmed, which seems correlative to this hypothetical relationship between our father and the ending voice lines: If we follow a pathway as severe as the adults' experience, our father is kinder to us, for in his twisted mind he loves hate and hates love. Or, something. Similarly, friendlier choices seem to slap our father in the face, as we reject him and the chaotic lifestyle that perpetuated on the ship.

That being said, if the adults turned to Warframes, and if they were chaotic (which Rhino Prime's codex entry seems to confirm), I'd say it's likely there's a critical kinship between these four voice lines...And they might forebode a vile nature of our golem puppets.

  6. I think this quest unearthed a LOT of new questions more so than it answered previous ones.

    - What the heck is a golden maw? What was their purpose?

    - What's the purpose of that huge sculpture we powered?

    - What's the meaning of our possessed voice line at the end of the quest? (Mine was "Without me, you're nothing," as I threw the Kuva liquid stuff off the cliff, but others have heard "Hey buddy, what took you so long?")

    - Why does the second queen look like a modified operator? Why is she young, and what is she doing now that she escaped?

  7. This happened with the release of the DotD skins: It was a general market glitch then, with the exact same items present in the market. It doesn't seem like TWW hype to me...That might have more of a "possessive" feel like the Twitch stream or Facebook takeover.

Could you clear up a bit by what you mean when you ask, "start fresh"; do you mean to reset your account? If so, no, you can not reset your account but you can easily remove your mods, reset your warframe colors, and such by just doing their related remove mods and color default options.

Sorry for the double post. By start fresh, I just mean remove all mod and color ("fashionframe") setups. I know about the Default buttons, but removing all the armor, syandanas, regalia, helmets, stances, and colors from all of my frames with 3 presets each would take a long time xD

I'm pretty sure deleting the EE.cfg file in %localappdata%\Warframe folder. (create a copy of the file in your Desktop just in case)

I moved the whole folder somewhere else and it only reset my graphic/visual/etc settings :( I'm pretty sure mods and colors are account-linked and therefore stored in Warframe's servers. Now I just need a way to reset that...

  10. A lot of interesting replies here. I don't really view myself as the Operator, even though I modeled it to vaguely resemble me: I've found more entertainment in viewing myself as the hypothetical (though I believe it) suppressed sentience in all the Warframes the Operator controls. I read a post here a while ago about someone viewing the Operator as someone they were "protecting" and watching out for, and that's pretty exciting to me.

I do enjoy the concept of the Operators as teenagers with horrific experiences. But I prefer a pretense wherein I'm still the Warframe, as far as creative liberty-ized lore will allow.
