  1. This update is cool, but whoever is responsible for the drop tables should be fired. We shouldn't need to do tenths and tenths of runs to drop a damn part for Protea, while at the same time you drop tenths of parts of the 3 weapons. It simply makes no sense. And this continues to happen, it's just a plain stupid decision. Players should have fun with an update, not feel frustrated grinding only one aspect of it to just drop a damn part (while, like a said, at the same time you drop #*!%loads of other parts...it's really plain and simple nonsense). They don't want us to run through the content too fast? Well, I can understand that, but again, a Warframe takes 3 days and a half to craft. A weapon 12 or 24 hours, so at least the drop chances should be reversed.

im console so im yet to experience this.

can someone show pictures to show how it looks plasticy?

before and after would be great

It doesn't after the last hotfix. The problem is that it seems that the game sometimes adds more gamma or something, making it all seem "washed out". In the orbiter too, you can have it perfectly working when you login, but when you come back from a mission or whatever it will look washed out again, but if you go to the arsenal and click on a color button it will go back to the normal settings. But when it works, it's amazing now. Especially the grineer galleon tileset looks beatiful, Orb Vallis too, in the plains there's not so much difference during the day, imho, but at night it's much better. The only problems I see when the new rendering works like it should are the corpus tilesets (but they were flashy/ with a lot of contrast even before) and some gold reflections (but even that was much more better in Lua after the last hotfix, don't know in dojos)

Yeah the new lighting system is a little messed up now, but because it's not always working as it should, but again, when it works it's amazing to look at, and more natural.

  3. What I think is that all this complaining has no sense at all. Yes, the game could be better. Yes, it has flaws. etc etc.

BUT: one thing people can't say is that the game doesn't see updates or fixes (major or "quality of life") over time. Devs are humans. They will NEVER be able to give us something at the same speed we can finish that new content. What is so hard to understand about this? And players will never be excited about the game the same way they were when they started playing. Like every other thing/passion in the world, it will decrease after some point. You're complaining about Warframe and DE? well, you should look at other studios and games before talking S#&$ about these guys, because there are many examples of devs not listening to the playerbase or games poorly managed or left to rot.

"Old players" have probably enjoyed the game for years and/or thousands of hours (I started actively playing the game a year and a half ago, and I have more than 3k hours according to steam). I would like to hear from them how many other games have provided so much fun for so much time. Yes, there could be an option for them for at least increase the difficulty (like in the first Guild Wars, when you entered a node you had the option to choose between normal and "elite" version), but they said they are aware of the problem and they're working on it.

If you're bored, take a #*!%ing break or simply play something new, it's not that Warframe is the only game in the world...

And for youtubers/streamers leaving, I couldn't care less. They throw S#&$ at devs (not only about this game but others too) when there are no or little news. Well, they should for a #*!%in moment take the time to think that the "content creators" are the ones actually making games, not the ones who make a video 10 minutes long to earn money without actually doing a normal job. Literally, a guy on a chair in front of a camera complaining about others not doing their work so he could take advantage of that. They are the worst thing that could have happened to the videogames world. It's their choice if they wanna leave because they are bored or burned out or don't like the game anymore or whatever, it's normal. It's not normal when they do it accusing others of not working.

Repeating Hepit and Repeating Bounty 5 isn't exactly a difference when talking about tedium. Some players like repetition, some don't. I like spamming Capture over and over, and you clearly don't. That's alright. Different strokes for different folks. I just appreciate the effort to revive the Void a bit by making Relics only drop there.

Isn't a difference? A Bounty can give you THE relic you need, it has more variety of missions and you're not forced to exit and reload the mission every minute.

Repeting hepit is #*!%ing boring, can give you countless relics other than the one you need and you're lucky if you got the one you need in 30+ tries. That's not fun. I could accept it if then you didn't need to be lucky to find the part you want when you oper the relic. There's literally no point in making the relics available only in the void (it isn't even a new prime, we're talking about unvaulted ones), and not on bounties rotations or other missions too. You don't need this way to revive the void, it makes you hate that tile even more (other that annoy people who could leave the game), and the devs needs to revive ALL the starchart, not only the void.

You are basically saying that is better for the game to grind for the relics forcing you on few specific missions than to obtain them while having fun where the hell you want.

  5. 1h missions are toooo long, maybe 30m max?

Maybe more wolf credits or potatoes instead of sigils/emblems? People who played a lot  have no problem since they were not so difficult to get before, but for new players I think the actual system could be a problem, unless potatoes will be more often a reward for invasions.

Normal syndicates don't vanish after 10 weeks and you can take yer time and act according to your own schedule though.

I reached tier 3 in 2 days without the hydrolist and the sortie, simply playing the game, so even if I miss a couple of the weekly challenges I can reach tier 30 in 10 weeks with no problem. Where's the #*!%in problem?

  7. Please, fix these missions, I'm tired of failing them because dropships don't arrive in time or they drop squads kilometers from the camps...it's ridicoulous to see dropships arrive when the countdown is already at 20%. Countdown should at least start when the first squad is on the ground, or should stop if no squad is there. Make these missions more difficult if you want, with more enemies, but please don't make us fail them because there's no one to kill... 😐

Lens flare is something different than this

This is Bloom, which is broken in Warframe for i dont know, 4 years

And Kubrow fur is broken since Mainline 23.10 update

They added a lens flare effect with the update, and it looks fantastic when it works, and bloom was ok before mainline. Even if I disable it, the game is still too bright especially on the warframes. And the lens flare amplifies the bright reflections, you can see it clearly in the orbiter.

And it's not the kubrow's fur that's broken, it's another glitch created by the lighting changes, you can see in the pic that half the dog is normal, the problem is where the light hits her (and again, you can clearly see a rectangle when your headlight is on)

  9. ...and every other graphic change you've added. Yeah I know it's beautiful to see...until you start seeing only white.

This is what I often see since last week:

    rE3QcAy.jpg

    ieXfBRm.jpg

I'm pretty sure this is caused by the lens flare.

And not only that, even the headlight is messed up

SyAcApd.jpgI see a brighter rectangle in the center of the screen, and my kubrow is becoming a (cube)row when she enters the light cone (well...rectangle)

I know you're working to make the game less bright, but why not wait for that moment to introduce new graphic options? Because the game is nearly unplayable for me right now

You know, the point of the mandachord is to move with the beat, learn your songs and move accordingly, it's a bit hard at first but once you get the rhythm of it it's actually easy regardless of how complicated/simple a song is.

The problem is, "you know", that "the beat" of a song is not related to the buff instrument (melody), but to the ones that actually do damage (percussions+bass)...It would be ok if those were used for the buffs too, maybe a specific buff for each one, but they are not. Plus, different types of instruments can lead to really different results, try a horos or delta continuous melody, and you will prefer torture to listening to that. Also, you have the graphic representation of the sound waves to move accordingly to them, so I don't see the problem of a quality of life change if it's possible for the devs to do that...And again, it's not a problem for the other buffs using a "slower" melody (depends on what you need, especially if you're in a party), but if you use invisibility a lot, especially in solo, you don't want to risk dying gangbanged from a hundred enemies, you just want to go stealth really quick without problems, and you only have one way to achieve that, at the price of your ears bleeding after a while and a too much repetitive song.

  11. I really love Octavia, and absolutely LOVE her stealth buff. What i HATE is that I'm forced to "ruin" some songs because, especially in a fight, the only way to use it without problems is to fill every space with a note. I know that there's the option to mute a particular instrument, but that ruins the feeling of making a good song. So, is it possible to have an option to mute any single note on the wheel? So we could just do more better and less repetitive songs, muting all the notes needed for the buffs but that make our ears bleed? 😁
