I'm having trouble login in as well. Some 3-4hrs ago no problem, now, can't get in. Probably some temporary server hiccup?

I'm having issues as well, seems to be an issue on their end..
Poor DE, can't get a break

  2. I kind of like and hate her design at the same time.
It's unique, and the semi transparent parts are beautiful.

But at the same time the overall design feels too busy, as if it could have been understated a bit.
Less is often more in design, and Ivara prime proves it.

Legit my brother doesnt even reach MR2 and dropped the game after he stuck on some stairs on the remove the ascaris mission. Same like his friends who tried the game, so I kinda believe these stats from what I see personally. Warframe kinda aged badly even on the starting quests, de really need to refine the starter quest because early game is totally bad for todays standards. Like stop the fancy trailers and actually put the things on the fancy trailers INGAME, even on steam storepage the "new player experience" trailer with the orokin era grinner etc is there even though nothing in the game is like that yet.

Completely agree, which is a shame because at it's core, this is a good game, but getting into it is a terrible experience.
They are spending way too much time on fancy trailers then actually working on the game.

  4. Is it 0.6% of all players or active ones?

as an FTP that's, let's be honest, hard to get into, most players don't even reach the first spoiler quest.

With that said, I as a veteran who already had all the old resources, it took me around 5-8 hours of grind to get all the new mats, which is not that terrible.
Upgrading your ship is kind of a nightmare at first though, but there are ways around most of it.

All and all, RJ is very much a warframe expansion: grindy, and most players won't reach the end of the grind, but since you can just hop on another player's ship make the entire thing much more accessible to newbes, who don't even need a clan to do mossions, get resources and gear, and eventually, if they want, build their own.

I hear ya...Breaks are helpful if frustration as mounted.

When it comes to big updates like Empyrean, I have found that it's easier on my nerves to let it sit and breathe a bit before delving too deeply into it.

Railjack feels incomplete and out of balance because it probably is to some degree...Gives me the chance to work on GW2 Living World achievements and assorted jobs I keep meaning to get to around the house.

The upside to Empyrean is that they clearly, currently, intending for it to be integral to game and story progression. As long as they don't change their mind, it should refine itself into something nifty in 2020.

Take a break. Come back in April.

That's not how a release should work, bugs are expected, and as you can notice I didn't even mention them in my report.
My issue is with the lack of actual understanding how the game is really played.

Time and time again, DE pulls of seemingly-random numbers, and then fixes them (sometimes, looking at you Hema) after months of upraor from the community.
Something in their internal process is broken, and seeing them fail in such basic things (like weapon balance), is just getting ridiculous after all this time

  6. Not only the gameplay is unpolished, repetitive and unbalanced, the amount of grind is BEYOND terrible, and worst off - RJ feels WORTHLESS and upgrades are WORTHLESS all by themselves.

I'm not sure anyone in DE actually played through their own game, numbers everywhere seems completely random, from damage to crafting costs, nothing makes even the least sense.

and don't tell me to just buy upgrades, I got more then 10k plat in my account, but if I just buy everything, well, there isn't any reason to play the game, is it?

I was going to write a long and detailed post, pointing out the (many) flaws of the system, but you know what, your game does not worth my attention, DE definitely did not pay a lot of attention when they rushed to release it (after 2 years in development), so why should I?

All and all, disappointing, and not because it's a bad concept, but there's obviously a lack of a critical eye inside DE, as they keep fumbling with the basics in any recent update

How did you get it back? Mine seems permanently gone, havent been able to make it come back even once

Going back to orbit sometimes fixes it and it comes back.
Sometimes I restart the game and it comes back.
    sometimes it doesnt at all

  8. Issue reported: on some occasions, going to the drydock your railjack is missing.

Had it happen to me several times, on time I get to the drydock and everything is fine, the I come back to it some time later and there's no railjack.
sometimes going back to orbit and coming back to drydock fixes it. sometimes not.

No idea if this is a game feature,
I haven't done any missions with my railjack (sometimes with others') in between the times it's there and the times it's not.

No it's not. Learning the rest of the game isn't frustrating.

As said, this part is just bad game design. It's just memorize. It goes from frustrating to mindless.

Aaaaaand the obligatory "you're just bad" forum troll.

I never said you're bad, I had rough time with those challanges as well, but I went to youtube, saw how it's done, then went back, gave it a few tries, and realized that once you understand what to do, it's actually pretty easy.

Have you done Spy missions yet? they are basically the same thing, there are around a dozen different challenges you need to learn, yes, it takes effort, it's called a learning curve, and games have those.

  10. The 2.5% drop chance is a joke, and it's not from minions mind you, it's 2.5% to receive the reward every 10 minutes (roughly).

I don't mind rewards only obtainable through gameplay, but the terribly low drop chance only makes sense when you understand that they basically gave up with trying to provide quality content in a satisfactory rate, instead, they just go the Anthem route, and break loot completely to cover on the lack of content.

I know DE are working on it, they have a humongous task of modernizing warframe, a game that by a lot of aspects is still stuck in 2012, and I really hope they succeed, because i still enjoy the movement and combat, even if everything around it is lackluster.

wukong is the perfect example for this, he is is immortal but that's all, nobody play this ape bc he don't bring something 'unique design'

Btw wasn't planned gas city rework and wisp drop in couple of week (5 april devstream) we are near the end of the month i don't see any news of the update and the next devstream is not until 3 May d'ont tell me will need to wait 15 may to expect it?  (cuz you know execpt 1 warframe 1 boss fight and a visual retexture of plain we got nothing this year in term of content)

Did they say gas city comes out in April? i dont think so, Maybe they planned to release wisp but i dont think it will happen since we just has a mainline update

interception, Defense, Infested Salvage, SO/ESO, Arbitration variants of listed endless, Survival, etc. literally any frame can be used in any mode of play. people will use her i will definitely use just on the fact that she is not instant map press death (a completely boring style of play imo).people said revenant would be MR fodder too, and people still play him.

Rev is still being played? he is THE definition of a MR fodder frame, he doesn't do nothing particularly well, and his 4 is boring to death - Sounds a lot like wisp in my opinion.

More so, I barely ever see Rev used anywhere, and i'm pretty sure that if DE will release updated frame usage stats, he will be at the buttom with Vauban, nyx, and the rest of the "just not good enough to pick" frames.

A warframe should be unique enough to be picked over the other 40, not just be powerful (they all should be in my opinion), but interesting to play.
Rev is powerful, his 4 is strong, no doubt about it, but his damage is not interactive, just press 4 and see the animation, it's boring.

  13. Everyone said it, the ability design seems lazy and boring, she will be another MR fodder frame no one uses.

She is "playable" in a vacuum, but we have 40 other frames to pick from, in what mission type should I pick Wisp? why? because she's fun? she doesn't seem to be.

  14. As mentioned in the title, I'm very happy Khora found a good niche and that she is now very welcome in Kuva survival and other missions.

However, her surging popularity made one fact painfully obvious, and it's a game wide issue.

The rag doll effect in warframe is overtuned to a terrible degree, while it can be fun to see an enemy fly to all hells once or twice, trying to actually shoot said enemy down while he is dangling around is not that fun.

it's not just a khora issue, Valkyr's harpoon suffers from that as well.
Reading the ability description, one might thing "that's cool, it pulls the enemy to me so i can melee him", but wait, why do they keep flying to the other side of the map

There are other examples to be found everywhere around the game (looking at you Gram prime), and it just, to me at least, makes the game show it's age with this terribly physics effect.

Tune it down, way down, i'd start with 10% of the current strength, yes, that is how much i think this ability is out of tune for a modern game.

    To conclude
Rag doll effect, while fun occasionally, has become so common it is effecting gameplay negatively, and breaks immersion to such a degree, the entire system should be reconsidered, or at least undergo significant changes.

  15. Came here to give feedback about another frame, but when I saw this post I remembered I haven'y played Rev ever since his 4 got nerfed shortly after release.
So I loaded him up, went and did a few missions - 5 rounds of hydron, a 10 minutes kuva survival and a orb max bounty.

    My conclusion
Rev is a boring frame to play
, his kit is not interactive, he doesn't perform any roll especially well.

He is a jack of all trades, but we already have much better alternatives that are just more fun to play.

Yes, his 4 does nice damage, but it's boring to use, and the damage doesn't pass line of sight. so you are better off using a decent melee weapon with a nice range, plus you will get more damage.

His design really baffles me, nothing seems to fit together to create a gameplay loop you actually want to play.
