(XBOX)Str8Simpn

I am trying to figure out how to get the items ooff of my old steam account that I used when I first started playing Warframe. I am now an Xbox main player, and I want to merge my accounts, but there is no option to merge with a Steam account. Does the email I used to log in on Steam automatically get linked to a distinct Warframe PC account back when I created it, or do I need to do something else?
