  1. Okaaaaay, maybe this one is just a tiny bug, but for some lazy people who relied on thumb buttons oftenly (like me), it's simply PITA.

Somehow, after updating to Windows 10 Creators Update, Warframe refuses to detect/catch inputs from mouse thumb buttons (4 & 5). When said buttons were bind to other keys using XMouse Button Control, it was properly inputted, so it means just the the real input was there, but not registered to Warframe.

IDK if it's from Windows or WF's side, but the more info the faster it'll be fixed. Or at least figured out why.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Yeah well, almost all. Only normal Volt's that looks perfect with the current PBR texture.

    Normal, non-Prime helmet.

It looks great, and have the same texture material like his body.

    Prime helmet.

The black part have a different material from the rest of his body, which is kinda looks like before he's getting PBR treatment.

    Arrester helmet.

The same plastic-y material as Prime helmet did.

Unless this is indeed intended application of PBR, please tell me that my eyes didn't really deceives me. It's not that horrible, but it kinda mismatched.

  3. Never EVER clean your Ports with an eraser, you will bend and possibly break the pins from the solder. Use a god damn brush with fine hairs that don't fall out and screw up fans at the worst. Please do not ever tell anyone to do that again!

It's not the ports, the pins. You know, the contact terminal/pins on the module? Maybe the real terms is not pins... Although it's not recommended because of possible ESD, but for within an free static environment, it works.

Why would someone clean the ports rather than the module? Come on...

  4. - Check your game files by verifying through the launcher.

    - Optimize your game files after verifying it.

    - Check for any bad/loosened up cable on your system. Clean it up from any dust while you're at it.

    - Try to clean your RAM's contact terminal using rubber eraser. Make sure no rubber residue left after cleaning it up. Switch the position of each RAM module.

    - Check your PSU if is it enough for your whole system's payload.

    - Use a voltage stabilizer to ensure stable juice to your system.

    - Check for any outdated drivers besides the GPU.

    - Update your GPU driver after confirming the latest update won't hurt your performance.

    - Check your disk. If it's fine, defrag it. Don't do it if you're using SSDs.

    - Clean up your registry and junk files. CCleaner is a good one.

    - Update your Windows to its latest system update for its version.

    - Pray to God that the things that I mentioned above really works for Warframe. If it's not, well... You got a cleaned up PC with its latest updates.

  5. Have you tried verifying the integrity of the cache in steam/ Running from the .exe in the steam folder?

as long as the account is linked and you have the money in your steam wallet I don't really think it matters wheather or not you run it through steam (could be wrong haven't tested) but if you can't you may need support to link it for you

Never tried to verify the game files /cache through Steam. It'll absolutely fatal, since it causes file mismatch (since Steam only hosts last Major update) and prompting you to redownload it all over again from scratch.

I can run Warframe normally through the launcher, but when I try to run it through Steam it always says "Evolution Engine has Stopped Working" I really want to run Warframe through Steam so i can buy the new vanity items like the "Excalibur Isurus Helmet" but its only accessible through steam someone please help me :.( thanks. I have tried uninstalling Warframe and steam and reinstalling them still nothing I am getting very frustrated.

    Have you tried this :

  6. I'd rather give them and myself a holiday to kick back and relax, rather than another event that may or may not be attended by most of the playerbase because of holiday.

I know, counter intuitive, but hey... After those hectic updates and stuffs, you surely needs some rest.

  7. I think an epic Mod/throwing melee augment (that applies to all thrown melee) is one that removes the bouncing entirely and when it's thrown it creates a singularity that scales off the damage :3

Removinf bounce is possible with the current mod lineup, but creating a singularity? Make it as a new weapon- thrown weapon for Corpus, possibly an offshoot of Gammacor and Simulor.

  8. The fastest solution (and I mean fast as in full on performance as fast as your machine could) is Bootcamp. Parallels is still a VM based setup, with much more complex layers to deal with.

And Iris 6100 is as fast as 820M, which is pretty much could only sustain sub-par FPS with casual settings, especially with your screen resolution. Even with native Bootcamp.

  9. You take the kubrow in the mission on your will

Edit: both kill on their own nothing you have to do, just the kubrow is doing it way worse

Are you seriously taking that kind of argument?

The thing is with Companions, you don't have any control with it except just that. You either bring it or not. The rest is its own thing. It just proceed to do its own thing, with no care of what you're doing. It just mind its own business, protecting you, killing/suppressing enemies, without your contribution. And if Lens could be installed on them, they pumping it out the miniscule amount of converted affinity to you - just by bringing them in a mission. Doesn't that sounds like a bot?

WoF is triggered by you. Your own will. Your own intention. You had the decision to do it or not. It activates from your own Warframe, operated by Operator himself, which is then, using the Lens to convert some of the affinity gained into Focus affinity. It much more make sense than gaining Focus affinity from Companion whose gained affinity is not even shared to your frame. At all.

You know what? Let's just ditch the automated argument, because somehow it doesn't really connect with you guys...

Read my lenghty post with the quote from wikia, especially the technical side with a tiny bit of lore intertwined, and please respond to that.

  10. No matter how insignificant the amount of Focus earned is, why shouldn't people be able to put a lens on their Kubrow? I have 7 forma on mine, every single slot has a polarity, I will never need to level him up again. Why shouldn't lens him so he can help me out?

I think you're going way over the top with this "but it's autonomous" argument. It's not autonomously effective and if it was I can assure you some of us would think very differently, right now it would simply be a nice way to let your companion help out a little more.

If you want to complain about autonomous focus farming then look at WoF, that's as autonomous as it gets and it's effective.

At least WoF (it's the World of Fire, right?) was activated on your will, and it's actually your frame that gets the affinity to be converted to focus, so I still stand on my thoughts.

  11. No. One. Gives. A. F***.

Its a senseless method that wont give any advantage over players farming on their frames / weapons.. you just take it by the word without considering the reality by its slightest..

Now let me turn that to you; If the amount it gained is truly so unimportant and gives no advantage, why should the fact it was (semi) automated outweighted by it? Why bother? It was much more make sense to just put it on all of your weapon, since the shared affinity affects all of it.

And please, no F-words. Even when if it was used only to asserts your statement.
